I wouldn't order any furniture online from these. They messed up with us in 2022 badly and just refunded me and left us without a bed after waiting for 6 weeks. I didn't request the refund they just issued it. They now have be waiting more than 6 weeks for an item and keep saying wait three days, that was over 9 days ago. Very very poor service and frustrating to say the least. Don't bother with them

definitely not as good as they used to be in terms of service. I’ve had an account with them since 1990! I ordered gift set for collection. Took it home and unwrapped- box was destroyed (outer box was fine so assume it had previously been returned by someone). Tried to call- registered for calls back and emailed- still trying to sort it out 10 days later! I’ve been cut off and told something different by everyone I speak to! All I want is an undamaged product to give as it’s a gift. Hard work if you can’t easily get to a store to return something faulty .
wide fit shoes making foot numb
Bought wide fit shoes. After a few hours of wearing my right foot is going numb. These say wide fit but obviously are labelled wrong. Can't return as I've worn them and they came without a box for online order. So couldn't return under the returns policy which is bafflingly annoying.
Lied to by customer service
Lied to by customer service. Order was never received, due to their error with no effort to reduce customer effort.
Clothing Quality
Can't vouch for ordering furniture online, but home delivery for clothing for just 2 euro is excellent - fast and reliable. Great value to be had in the clearance section. The app is poor but the website works better. The only problem is the size filter doesn't work properly and i keep getting items shown in the search results that are out of stock for my selected size or even items that are completely out of stock in every size.
Not so nice Next
Shopped at Next Liffey Valley today spent 78 euro and couldnt believe it when my husband was asked would he like a bag at 15 cents.We had been shopping so had bags that had been given freely at Dunnes and Regatta.I asked the assistant who was an older woman if i didnt buy a bag what happens then . I was promptly informed id have to carry them in my hands.What on earth is going on at Next ???? I said we wouldnt take a 15 cent bag that i would place my purchases in one of my free bags from Dunnes and Regatta . I felt a charge for a bag after spending 78 euros in Next was mean especially as the bag bears their brand name and they expect customers to pay to advertise their shop.The assistant had a horrible attitude not sure if she was in charge she was an older woman with short blondish hair and glasses and a head phone over her head.we finished up paying and as we walked away she said sarcastically have a nice day .In all my years shopping in Next and Next online i have never had the misfortune to come in contact with such awful treatment and customer service as i experienced from this person today .She had a like it or lump it attitude regarding the bag charge.Maybe some retraining wouldnt go amiss for this person after all shes the face of Next in your store.As for the bag charge 👎👎👎👎
Utterly appalling
Utterly appalling! Could not even began to explain how appalling the customer service that I experienced is. Utterly appalling, waited 3-4 weeks on my refund for an armchair which I returned, made 27 phone calls, where I was hung up on, was left holding for more than 20 minutes, each agent confirming refund had been processed (when it hadn’t), and then to top it all off they offered as a gesture of goodwill a token, another 10 phone calls on this still nothing, a complete joke !

A dress I ordered was due to be delivered within 48 hours of order (a popup message appeared, order within 5 hours and receive in 48 hours). This was a false claim as this timeframe then changed to 5 days later. On morning of delivery got email thanking me for returning it. Later that day got text to say it was still on the way.
This is the 2nd time this happened, last Christmas also. Luckily this year I knew they were not reliable and left plenty of time if they let me down again, which they did.
I don't recommend Next online. The staff in the retail outlets are very nice however, but the support services are not good. Next, you need to check your stock before taking customers money and holding it for your your own use until you decide to refund it. This isn't good for your customers. Of which I am no longer one.

Next Direct are not reliable at all
Next Direct are not reliable at all. I ordered furniture from them on 29/09/24 and the website says delivery would be within 4 days. When I didn't hear anything from them after a week I contacted them and was told they could book me in for delivery on 31/10/24! I arranged time off work to be at home for delivery on that day. Nothing arrived. I contacted them that evening and was told that the parcel was out for delivery but they could not get in touch with the courier. Next said they would call me the next morning to update me but I didn't hear from them. They emailed 4 days later to say they were still trying to find out where my parcel was. Finally today they emailed to say the parcel is lost, the furniture I ordered is no longer available and a refund will be issued. I'm so annoyed that Next Direct have kept me waiting so long, I arranged time off work to accept delivery and they didn't even bother to inform me that day that my parcel wouldn't arrive that day. I certainly won't order from them again and wouldn't recommend them as reliable furniture suppliers and customer care is non existent.
Unreliable and deceitful
I ordered curtain poles which were supposed to be available in store within a week and for home delivery within 2 weeks. Well, 2 weeks later I called Next and spent 30min being transferred from one department to another only to be told that the said curtain poles are not available and they don't know when they will be. Needless to say I won't be ordering anything else from such an unreliable company.

Next used to be reliable and parcels turned up in good time, but not now. One order took longer than a month and they didn't think I should cancel it! Now I have given them another chance and ordered something that should have come within a few days but no. I will give them a bit longer but having been a very good customer when I refurbished my wardrobe as an older woman I am sorry to say although I love some of their styles I will not be ordering again.
Update: I received my parcel mentioned above this morning after writing the review. However there is nothing positive to add. I am having to return that parcel because the inside bag the leggings are wrapped in was torn and dirty and there was debris on the leggings. That is unacceptable. I am so disappointed with Next. I asked for a call back and the customer service agent was pleasant and arranged a return and an e-voucher. I will try one more time to see if I can receive a parcel in good condition in a reasonable time.
Terrible (furniture items )
Never order furniture from Next if you live in Ireland, in stock items delivered in UK usually within a few days. Ireland a few weeks! But worse than that it fails to appear on the actual delivery date your given ! No tracking number either, shop elsewhere.

Should have an option for 0 stars. Bought a sofa online. Paid for delivery. I was told I MUST SIGN for sofa. Took Thursday off work to be home between 7am - 7pm. Didn’t show up. Called Next, couldn’t speak to a manager but was told the sofa would 100% be delivered on Friday. Another day off work, no delivery by 4pm. Called again, again no sign of a manager. Was informed sofa would not be delivered until Monday. Called today to get a time/confirm delivery to be told they are waiting for DHL to get back to them and it could take 24hrs. Appalling service. DON NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM THEM
SCAM!!! Charged me 1,200 AED plus and did not process my order. Almost 10 days now!!
Next direct app in Dubai, UAE charged 1,200 AED plus (300 EUROs approx) without processing my order. Eventually in 2 business days the money was debited from me and credited to their company account. And no order was processed. Now I don’t have order nor my money. I contacted my bank, they said they cannot do much and contact Next direct. I have been contacting them by call and endless emails and shared screenshot from my bank statement, no solution. Money is still with them and no order. SCAM!!!
Bought a top in dark green
Bought a top in dark green. It wasn't until I put it on some weeks later there was a hole in the front. Stupidly I ordered a jumper the size was wrong didn't notice now stuck with it. From most of the comments here I'm surprised they are still in business. Customer service so unhelpful

Next customer service is absolutely appalling. I made a complaint about a missing item that I should not have been able to order as it was out of stock still took payment though. They think saying sorry puts everything right but it doesn’t twice I went for my order before I found out it was out of stock. WS told I would be sent a voucher I have been promised an EVoucher 3 times nothing when I asked they said it came back undelivered. Then supposed to send one to my home address within 10 working days think we are on day 18 now. Emailed again asked next to read email thread so that another EVoucher would not be sent but they did and guess what I’ve not received it. I think they tell you things like send you a voucher to shut you up and don’t expect you to contact them again. The worst customer service ever so poor would not use them again. Absolutely appalling.
Poor communication, missing items, poor quality bed
I ordered a single bed from Next online. Delivery was delayed due to overseas shipping issues (not a major problem for me), but communication after this was terrible. Unclear when delivery was due so I had to contact Next, bed was delivered weeks later but only half of the bed arrived & I had to contact Next again & it was still unclear when the missing parts were arriving. Eventually the parts were delivered without notification.
The bed itself is not great quality despite the price, 3 of the wooden slats have broken within a few months. IKEA slats are of better quality. I would never buy a bed from them again.
Also Next I couldn't leave a review on the Next website - terrible all round.
LIE LIE LIE SCAM
Ordered 2 chairs for 500€ a month ago. Email confirmation stating delivery in 4 days. Got an other email few days after regarding delivery booked in 2 weeks. Not happy but still. Took a day off and guess what? Delivery never happened so I called customer service (based int the UK) and was told to wait until 8pm... Lol seriously delivery in Ireland on Fridays until 8pm. I thought it was a bad joke but no! This is just the beginning! So I had to contact then again on the next day, I was told they had to contact their transporter, that it takes time bla bla bla, no contact possible on the week end bla bla bla, ring Monday bla bla bla, their are not reachable by phone, only email bla bla bla. I was assured the goods were sent but they couldn't give me a tracking number! This is an other lie when even Ali express are able to track their own goods. Anyway, I was informed few days ago that the chairs never reached the transporter in Ireland and are now lost! Funny enough to read an other customer on trustpilot with the exact same story than us. That is another lie to cover the fact that the chairs never send off! Got an email asking if I wanted them to re-order them... I said yes but I can see they are now sold out so no clue how they will proceed to get some. Maybe magic, who knows? I don't know how many email I will have send again to get this problem sorted but it's already too much for 2 bloody chairs!! I thought I was buying from a reputable company! The truth is following all of those bad reviews and comments here on trustpilot, they shouldn't be operated in Ireland or outside of the uk. Very disrespectful to people, agents lying to cover incompetence and thinking a 30 pounds gift card will make you quiet.
EDIT : replacement chairs were order after
insisting. One was faulty, an other battle to get it reorder without to have to cancel, as per previous comments stated can be hard to get your money back. Anyway 4th attempt of delivery today and it's a drink cabinet that came in instead ... Now waiting for 2hrs over the phone to talk to someone who knows what is going on. Unbelievable
