Takes so much longer to arrive than they tell you
Have had 2 separate orders and they all have taken a minimum of 4 weeks even though we were told 3-7 days when placing the order in store, don’t know why they don’t just tell you it’ll take a month.
Absolutely appalling customer service
Absolutely appalling customer service - I am waiting THREE MONTHS, ordered 3 July, for a bed which I paid over 700 for for my 6 year old son . A litany of errors and mistakes, totally incompetent , would not advise to buy furniture from Next. I have been on countless phone calls ; emails - absolutely dreadful .They promise to rectify mistakes , for the second time I have got an email today saying the order was lost , a bed , they said same in September , and that would have to be reordered . Not plausible same losing of a bed happens twice . Do not buy from them .
My favourite place for online shopping
Really surprised by the bad reviews. I regularly order online and use the in store collection option as there is a Next store close to my office. I have never had any issues with ordering, product quality or returning items. I pay via PayPal and returns are usually credited back to my account in a couple of hours, and always within 24 hours.

30/08/2024 I ordered coffee table. In my letter was within 4 working days delivery time. After 10 working days I contacted customer service and they booked for me delivery on 20/09/2024.
20/09/2024 I contacted them for tracking number or information about delivery time they told that they didn’t have any information because it’s a local service.
20/09 no delivery. I tried to contact customer service they answer me in 3 hours after my message and closed conversation because I am offline. 21/09 I contacted second time and they told me that full information will be on Monday 23/09. Today they told me that information will be in 2 working days and my order was made 14/09. I think that I did order and they just forgot about it. And if I no wrote them after 2 weeks I lost my money.

Sooo disappointed
Had a pair of catherine langsfield textured purple black out curtains delivered yesterday. They were awful. They looked good in the picture but they had the look and texture of a shower curtain. Only good enough for the bin..
Still no sofas
Bought 2 sofas 7 day lead time, 4 weeks later still no sofas. Absolutely deplorable customer service. Sofas were due today between 8-4 and got a call at 1.30pm to say they wouldn't be delivered today and no idea when they would be delivered. Was hung up on twice by "customer care" after spending over 2hours on the phone and 4k on sofas for nobody to be able to tell me when I will receive them. Absolutely disgraceful avoid next home at all cost
Do not shopping online with next
Absolutely awful shopping online with next.ie. my account keeps rejecting me from signing in and the chat robot is an totally none sence which understands nothing! All it does is to repeat the info already listed online. I can not access my account which I just registered yesterday with the correct info, confirmation email said I will get my shipping today, I don't see my order at all! I thought their online service had improved so I'm back shopping with them again. This just reminds me how terrible it is to shop from next online. I should of read the reviews here 1st before I back shopping with it.....

Worst customers service ever
Worst customers service ever. They told me my order will be for collection they was marked as collected and returned my money without me even collect it. Mess and all after 2 weeks of waiting...avoid!!!! I hope this company will not be longer on the market

I bought the skinny indigo jeans size 16 xxl for tall fitting. They fit perfectly and are really comfy too. Waiting for more stock to come in so I can get more.

Purchased some clothes. Gents geans. Jumpers shirts. A very nice person served me. But very hard to get proper measurements. Would prefer to deal with male attendent in mens fashion. As a result I have to return goods. Wrong fittings

Ordered new balance runners in black, receive cream & gray ,contacted customer service who offered 15% to keep but advised I didn't want,asked why not discount for reorder as it was sent wrong ,next email offered discount but advised me AGAINST ordering as could not guarantee same would not happen ....what a joke ..not much of a shop if they won't send you what you order ,have ordered off scuh hopefully a better experience

Just amazing customer service. Some items received were faulty. They were replaced quickly & without fuss. Products purchased ( rugs x 2 , lampshades x3) are superb quality. Happy customer.

Richard and Marek were polite respectful delivery drivers. Called us ahead of delivery with am ETA. There was a bit of a worry that my huge sofas wouldn't get through the doors at first but after a bit of pushing and pulling they did it! They put the furniture exactly where we wanted it to go and put all the cushions on. We offered them a drink and a 'loo' break but they declined. Richard said they had 22 more deliveries that day! They took all the wrapping away with them and left our home clear. Thanks guys, yet another example of fabulous customer service 👏 👌 👍
Great customer service
I was in store in next Tralee this evening around 6:15 looking for a baby pramsuit unfortunately they were out of stock so I asked a member of staff could she check out back to see if there was anymore sizes, She was by herself at the till so she said she couldn’t at the moment but she checked the computer for me but the computer showed the size I wanted wasn’t in stock and there was no others in that size either. I told her not to worry I would run to another store and come back if I don’t find anything.
When I came back she had found 3 different options of pramsuits for me, which I was not expecting. She was ever so nice and I was very thankful as have been looking everywhere. I found her to be great assistance and was not expecting that level of service. Unfortunately I did not catch her name but this woman deserves praise when she’s doing great at her job.

I should have read the reviews before ordering a furniture from Next. Horrible experience. I bought an unit that was supposed to be delivered on a specific date and when I asked when they said the window is 7.30 am to 6 pm. Which was ridiculous to begin with, and that was just the beginning of an ordeal. I was told that the delivery guys would ring me and they never did. The furniture ofcourse did not arrive. I rang them, contacted Next over chat to get a voucher and no real response. I only heard they will definitely ring you before they deliver. Fast forward, a week, I ring them again and I am told sorry that furniture is lost and you can order the same one again, we can't order for you but it is in stock. The refund will take 7 business days. Then, of course the furniture was out of stock and I am still awaiting the refund. No one actually helped. This was utterly ridiculous! Most horrible experience ever. In all this, I was never contacted in any form to apologize or give me a timeline. It was frustrating and annoying to say the least.
Absolutely dreadful service
Absolutely dreadful service. Don’t order any furniture and expect it to be delivered when promised. Kitchen table arrived day after expected delivery date - damaged and with no explanation. It only arrived as we spent the day chasing for an update. So difficult to contact anyone. Arranged for a replacement table and was promised the damaged one would be collected and replaced on a specific date and by a specific time. True to form it didn’t arrive as had been promised and of course can’t contact anyone directly to get an update. Will never use Next again for furniture and would not recommend them.
Processed my refund incorrectly for…
Processed my refund incorrectly for damaged item which has taken over a month to sort out, promised to give voucher for damaged item. Voucher was exchanged for bank transfer but money never arrived and voucher was cancelled too. Trying to email and chase them down for money but no help at all. The worst experience I've had with Next and has really put their credibility in question for me. I was a regular shopper in store!
Navy blue elasticated back. trousers
Navy blue elasticated back trousers. I bought a 14 my usual size as I have black ones in this size. But they were to tight. I had to go up a size to a 16. I don't know why but next have made these trousers smaller. So I would recommend going up a size. The trousers are nice and the 16 fit me. They will be fine for work. But I just wonder why Next has made there sizes smaller.
