Cncelled Order without notice

Ordered from their furniture/home department 2 weeks ago. Received a confirmation and date for delivery. No sign of delivery on the day so gave them a call. Was told they there was an issue and the order was cancelled. Now I have to reorder it but this time there is an 8-9 week lead time.

I had to ring them to find this out. Not good enough at all

I would like to say how amazing and helpful Sandra was today in Next Maynooth Ireland. She was just so friendly, explained to me what was needed and took her time with me and nothing was a problem. Her customer service was above and beyond. So thank you Sandra your doing an amazing job

Store delivery poor

Ordered a Gap cardigan via Next website to be delivered to Dundrum store. Went to collect it and waited for over 10 minutes while the woman searched and brought items from store for three other people while I still waited. Eventually a manager went in after her to store room and they came back to tell me that my item had been given to another customer! My details were taken and I was told that they would cancel my order and I would get a refund. I received 2 emails from Next - one telling me my item had been collected and another informing me that my item had been delayed!
No refund 4 days later so I phoned the online number myself, explained the situation and they tracked my file and told me that the store had not processed or requested a refund correctly for me!

Cork city store

Cork city store. Awful experience with lady called Hannah. She did returns but the items were a few mths old. She said watch your bank account & if they dont get refunded ring customer service. No refund ever went on to my account. I rang customer service they said because it was done in store you need to go back. I live over 1hr from the city, but I went back, paid for parking, was told Hannah was on her lunch & only one who could help so wait 1hr..i did. Hannah said no that information is incorrect, because the goods were bought on line they need to be returned via customer service & ring the number again. I told her right now ive no refund, but also no goods. Can i get them back? She said no theyd be all gone. Very frustrating. On my journey home, I called the number again (long waiting times to be connected) despite ringing irish number it goes to UK, spent ages explaining & after all that they said they have to put us through to a international no. & another 20mins wait time. When I finally got them, they told me "no, this was done in store so you need to return to store to resolve". Im just after leaving the city, after spending €16 on parking and get told they are not the ones to help. So now ive to drive back into city another day, for what Hannah to repeat the same story "call customer service??" All I know is im incredibly frustrated, incredibly stressed and down my goods AND refund.... can someone please help me, or give your staff some training.. if youre not gonna give me my refund, give me back the goods I returned !!!!!!

Delivery

TI have a Next account. I imputted my correct eircode. DPD delivered to another address. So hard to speak to a human; getting past chat bots. Emails useless, kept saying it was delivered, yes, to the wrong address! They suggested first I go collect it! Then said they will reimburse me in a fortnight and I can reorder. I ended up ordering off Temu!! DPD would not help, said it up to Next!! I wasted a whole morning trying to sort; very unhappy.

It took a month and numerous phone calls but i have now been reimbursed

Can't get my refund

I returned a parcel, I had to contact them after 3 weeks still no refund, I had also returned items in the store and I had been refunded but then they reversed refund and took money back. Ive never seen such customer service, I will never order from next again, they never wanna give you your money back

Do not shop here

Do not shop here. Horrible experience that is still ongoing. Ordered clothes in more than enough time, they never arrived, I had to contact them to get told I wasn’t getting them. Was lied to by several of their customer service agents, had proof and provided them of the evidence. Was promised phone call within 24 hours, never happened. They ‘tried’ to ring me days later and they rang for 2 seconds before hanging up. Organised a further phone call and have not rang, still waiting for that ‘organised phone call’ and was told a manager would ring, not one single manager has reached out. The items got delivered a day before the event after having to be refunded and re order the exact same clothes with no time to get them tailored. Would give zero stars if I could. Do not order from here!

TERRIBLE!!

AWFUL customer service, the courier they use Movelocity is even worse.
Absolutely no help when contacted from both the store and courier, just excuses and lies.
Wont be ordering again!!

Ordered and in stock (and expensive!)…

Ordered an in stock (and expensive!) chair. Nothing happened. I chased them via chat and phone. Got a delivery date of two weeks out - on an in stock item!! Where is it coming from - timbucktwo?
No mention of delays when you order.
Still waiting on item

This is the second issue that I have had with them for refunds.

The first was two years ago they told me the €130 refund will go on the card. It never did. I wrote a trust pilot review. They gave me an email- they never answered any of the emails.

Second incident. They contacted me about a month late for my furniture order to say they couldn’t not fulfill the order.

They took weeks saying that they couldn’t confirm the transaction.
I asked them from the beginning not to return the money to the gift card as previously I didn’t receive the money. They agreed, then someone emailed me saying it was returned it to the gift card.

When I did receive the money on the card this time, I emailed to say it is resolved -no further action needed.

Weeks later they contact me to say that they’ve taken the €400 back from the card!!!! WHY?

They said they would send out gift vouchers HOWEVER, REFUSED to send them tracked, so who knows if these are ever going to arrive?

Refund process horrible

Waiting three weeks for a refund and I still have yet to receive it. Sent in receipt of return postage slip and still nothing. Third time contacting company about refund. Definitely put me off shopping with Next again….

REGRET!

I have closed my account due to a ridiculous issue and still they are emailing me. I would say that 47 emails was surely enough Next!
I regret ever shopping with this company and won’t go near them again! Stop emailing me Next and close my account!

Since first writing this post I have received another two emails saying they will respond to my original query. That makes five emails in the last five days! Personally I feel that someone is being very vindictive at next and it feels like they are having a laugh at my expense. Just so dreadful it’s almost unbelievable!

Visit the store and the staff nearly…

Visit the store and the staff nearly invited me to leave. Asked a question about the size of some pair o trousers and the girl answered me as short and rude as possible. At one point she said I could not be holding products. If you can’t try, if you can’t hold, what is the point to go to the store.
At this point I just put back the items I already had chosen back.

Rude cashier

I was in the Kilkenny store today buying a suit for my husband and the cashier was so rude. I asked her if they had another jacket as the one she scanned was damaged she ignored me so I went and looked myself. When I returned she huffed and puffed and then answered her mobile phone still ignoring me . Absolutely disgraceful service

Have I been scammed by Next

I returned clothes on the 17 February, email received confirming receipt. I received an email telling me to contact them as they were having technical difficulties regarding certain refunds. I contacted them and they said they would process return. Despite trying to get the refund since early March , no refund has been received. Today I was told by a customer agent that it was sent on the 17 February (not what another agent told me ) and sent to my Barclays account. (Barclays does not operate in Ireland) Is this a scam by Next or their employees hoping that people won’t notice they haven’t received their refund

The clothes I ordered from next are…

The clothes I ordered from next are of poor quality. The Clothes for 3-4 years old would fit a 7-8 year old! I 'd rather buy clothes from Pennys for less price, good value and correct sizing.This will be my first and last purchase from them . What a big scam . Avoid at all cost tsk3

Consistently terrible service

Consistently terrible service. Delivered the wrong size item three times before I eventually gave up and bought somewhere else.
Returns were relatively straightforward because I live near a store, but the store staff were equally useless at explaining why Next couldn’t deliver the item correctly.

Issue with search facility & filters!

I am a long term customer of next.
Never had any issues with the website in over 20 yrs! Untill recently!

I like to search & filter items, but
Struggle to search for a item.
Returns me to the home page?

Cannot find the search facility?

If I filter, for a colour or a size,
page is very slow to load, thinking about it?

Then returns me back the previous page,which is static. Eventually I get to where I have clicked on,but takes way longer than it should?

Hope I'm making sense here?
My internet is fast.
