Dont know where to start.. agree with the negative reviews posted below.

You make an enquiry then a sales person contacts you, all seems great and feel positive, learning at your own pace no obvious sign of a deadline and certainly no checking up from tutor. No how you getting on calls do you need help?... just an automated submit you next TMA email to the college web mail.

One day you go to log in and you cant access your account or reset your password, call up and are just greeted by a snotty woman on the phone saying well you were told and thats the end of it. Oh but wait you can apply to another company and pay the £400 then you might get another year to complete.

its a scam the sales guy didnot tell me that the expire date its 3 years and he also didnt mention it was a loan he told me its a scheme from the governemnt with no intrest fee and could cancel it anytime this turned out to be a lie and now iam left to pay 7.8k of loan payments stay AWAY AWAY from them they wont even help you

I was sing up with NTC for my gas safety training, now I asked for further course studies, they said my course is expired, they don’t count down expired days during the pandemic time training Center was closed, they asking extend the course paying to 3rd party company.

NTC call centre is unhelpful, no flexibility for students, I paid £10,000 for the course, with finance company loan, as I am poor they asking more money, they didn’t notify expired date this is money making system they created, as my age now 57 years, I don’t have money to pay them, my Aim was trade qualified and urns more money, all very bad things NTC did, I am saying new student to to go with any training they will cheat you,

Now I lost everything, I have to Sucide in due date.

When my partner started the electrician course he was told it was for three years and he was led to believe he would pass the course within the three years. Because of covid the practical centres were shut so he has only completed 2 of the practical weekends. Once his three years were up he couldn't log onto his course and when he contacted them they said thats the end of the course and that he had to pay more if he wanted to carry on and complete it. He mentioned that covid had delayed the process maybe up to twelve months and they just said there was nothing they could do about it. He has been paying monthly for three years totalling over £5000 and he can't even continue unless he agrees to pay more money. Its an absolute rip off and nothing like all the promises that are made when you originally sign up.

I study with NTC. I am 30 years old and have been working for my dad after finishing college. During last lockdown I just felt like it was the time to do something new in my life and I started looking for a different career path, I had no idea what I wanted to do and no prior experience in a trade. When I came across this course I nstatnly go intrigued in plumbing, I had a few friends within the industry and reached out to them for a bit of help and support. Since starting this course one friend with his own plumbing business has let me go along with him on my day off to gain some much valuable hands on experience within the job. I am happy with the results I've been getting onthe course so far. I am very proud of the fact that I go along on my days off to gain hands on experience of plumbing as well as working 6 days a week over 50 hours a week to come home get my head down and get my revision in most days as well. I can't wait to pass my course, get my qualifications and become a plumber full time. So far I am very happy with the course, all tutors and support.

Where do I start from, I am taxi driver studying plumbing as part at local college and came across this company on Facebook and it looked good. NTC so I enquired and got late reply after month for interview with lady called Sandra. She rang me wen I was working and I told her. Can we make another appointment and I can be home and we can chat about it. So we did that and she kept waffling on about how college are crop and how many kids I have and what's my wife's name. It sounded like creep on live video chat. She told me I was lucky and she might help me if she wants too. I like whats going on here another cheap saleswoman trying sell me course. She said out 30 people she wants too as its high demand course. I was like ye BS, I told her she was selling course. She was kept frustrated wen I said that...saying she was here to help. This NTC is really dodgy and shady. They shouldn't ask personal question. I thought I was getting interrogated. She said tell me more about your life and stuff. So I had lie to her because I knew she seems dodgy. AVIOD THESE PROFESSIONAL CHEAP SCAMMERS.

They trying to sell you something that isn't true. Waste of time this company hope they close down they letting all the legit company's down. More can be said but I will leave it there.

I dont usually write reviews but I really want you to reconsider before even signing to anything or spending your money on New Trade Careers.

I wasted my whole year and time here. The layout of this college makes them more profit and leaves you more clueless. What annoys me the most was the different people I was kept being sent to and the different things I was repeated told. The admission staff also had the audacity to get pissy with me just for trying to figure out what was going on with my course.

They split the course to foundation and intermidate but realistically your doing the same certificate (just makes them an extra £2,500). The only time you move to a higher level is if your on the advanced, which is level 3. If you try to leave it at foundation theres no point because your either left with nothing for leaving or just half a certificate, forcing you to complete the other half so you atleast have a certificate.

If after this you still want to enrol I beg you atleast go over the entire documents and ask the impatieint enroller many questions before you sign. Dont let the Conman pressure you into sigining.. If you do apply make sure you know the outline of the course( foundation, intermediate, advanced) , where the college is (1 year in and still have no clue), the payments your going to be making , refund policy (doesnt exist after 14 days) and the material given to you (which is filled with spelling errors and busy irrelevant work that makes them seem legit). Also be ready to deal with teachers that make you feel stupid for calling them when you have a question that is ofcourse obvious to them but oblivious to you. I won't lie had a few good ones but the chances are slim. Most are just retired depressed plumbers.

If I could do this different I would just go to my local college. Atleast you see the teachers and actually get help.

Bottomline, this just another business looking to make profit of you. Nothing special or cutting edge.

When I first inquired about a course to become an electrician I was contacted by this company. They then sent out a salesman to see if I was suitable to be ripped off by them. During the chat he mentioned several times about how this is more beneficial than attending a college and how you could learn in your own time at your own pace and it might take you a year, 3 years, 5 years. No worries, it's learning how you want to learn. This was 3 years ago. Now, granted I've probably not applied myself fully over those 3 years, but a lot has happened in that time (moving house and oh yeah a pandemic). Now I came to log into my course to hopefully finish off the section I've been working towards to find I'm locked out. Upon contacting the center I'm told that my course has expired, but i can apply for a 12 month (maximum) extension that costs another £400. I explained that I wasn't informed that there was a time limit on the course, but they were adamant that it was a 3 year year course only. Upon looking closely at the paperwork when I joined up, unfortunately it's there in the small print. This is worse selling than the PPi scandal. So be warned before you sign up with them. I was only doing a level 2 course (which full time at college takes 2 years to complete so 3 years of home learning part time isn't exactly the easiest thing to achieve either) the fact that the centers were closed for a good part of last year meant that there was no way to do the practical aspects and a lot of the in center learning went to online videos that you had to wait weeks for them to put on line meaning you basically lost a year of being able to complete the section I was on as I had to work through the videos on a week by week basis. I feel well and truly f**ked over and would not recommend them at all. To add during the course I haven't received one phone call from the tutor team to see how I'm doing (expect for automated messaged telling me to submit a TMA despite the book saying to stop at this point until you've been to the center) and half of the time when I've contacted them for help I've had snotty messages back saying "it's in the book" well if i had read it and understood it, I wouldn't be asking for help would I? I did email them to ask what I needed to complete before I could attend the center to be told the information was on the course site (it wasn't and didn't appear there for 3 weeks).
So long and short of it; this may be for some people, but please do your research before agreeing to anything because once you've signed up you are obliged to pay in full and you are on a time limit despite what their shady salesman tells you.

This company should be taken to court for the shady tactics they use to Rope you in i was Really wanting to get NVQS in welding just to be Given worthless books with poor spelling and wording with Things that have Zero to do with Welding and when i rang up to tell them I wasn't going to be finishing the course and i wont be paying and i was told i will be because i have a contract regardless if i finish it or not, they told me it was student funding NEVER TOLD ME IT WAS A PRIVATE LOAN, only after i passed the cool off period i thought to myself gets sort out this Funding so tried setting it up with the Govement funding page, was told by the people on the phone that i had signed into a private agreement and there is nothing they could do, PLEASE IF YOU SEE THIS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY GO TO A COLLAGE

I Was pretty much lied to about everything,I was told I would be doing practical lessons in my hometown, to only find out it’s a 2 hour drive from my home. Absolutely everything about this company is just bad.Even REAL plumbing companies have came out and said they will not hire anyone who have done courses with companies like this due to the companies being scam artists and not giving proper training. I’ve been conned out of £4000. I’ve been made redundant and had serious other personal problems and they literally could not care less.There are countless forums with other victims who have suffered from these scumbags. There is even a newspaper article that has called out multiple companies like NTC. DO NOT ENROLL DO NOT ENROLL DO NOT ENROLL.

Do not use scam scam scam staff when you do get through are rude and obnoxious

Working my way through the last of my course assignments now and already had a number of certificates come through. I've really enjoyed my time on the course, and I've found the support team and Tutors so helpful. I prefer to communicate in writing and the responses have always been quick. On the odd occasions where I have called up there has always been someone on hand to help with the queries I've had.

My confidence in Electrics has grown so much in the last year and a half, and I've started working as an Electricians Mate, and I do owe that to the course. I don't think I would have got to grips with half the calculations without the patience of the Tutors... Thankfully I passed my 2392 exam on the first attempt! :)

I generally was a little sceptical at first, and with Covid hitting not long after I enrolled I was worried what would happen. Thankfully the course seemed to adapt well to the situation and I always felt like I was in the loop with what was going.

Overall, I have no regrets taking on the course, and I look forward to getting my final quals.

I am a student doing renewable course. Last week spent in the training centre. The tutor was brilliant and deserves a lot of praise. The whole atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. Also I found the tutors on the phone friendly and helpful. One of the parts of the course is online tutoring which is helpful as well. I've studied less than a year and can't really complain about anything. I couldn't pay for the whole course at once and was offered a loan with 0% interest. Now I pay monthly, working and studying. So my experience with the college is good and most of the people who I met in the training centres were happy as well.
