GO DFS OR ANYWHERE BUT NOT NCF

How this company can be over 4 for reviews i don't know how. Chair and settee came damaged had to wait 3 mths for it to get sorted. Customer service is shocking but I could say other words. The shop staff were no better.

RUBBISH COMPANY!!!!

Purchased 2 sofas at the beginning of March, we were given a date of 25th March, this was changed to 1st April & changed again to the 8th April...we visited the store to request a refund only to be told it would cost £495!!!!....the manager was not empathetic at all & made us feel in the wrong, we finally received the furniture yesterday!!....we would never ever!! Use this awful company again!

Azra @ NCF LIVING Stoke

Azra at NCF Stoke is on a whole different level. From the second I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and had me laughing straight away. It didn’t feel like shopping at all – more like catching up with someone you already know.

Her sense of humour is elite 🤣 and the bilingual banter? 10/10 – quick, witty, and had me fully involved the whole time 🔥

On top of that, she really knows her stuff. No pressure, no awkward sales tactics, just genuine advice and good vibes. Somehow she made picking a sofa feel easy and entertaining.

Came for furniture, left with a sofa and a story to tell 😄

Great service from Shaun at the Stoke…

Great service from Shaun at the Stoke branch. He was very polite and patient and helped me plan out my design and measurements for my free standing bedroom wardrobes and draws in the Retro design. There was a good choice of colour combinations. I purchased a triple wardrobe with mirror, 2 double wardrobes with draws, a chest of draws, and locker and 2 bedside draws. I chose chashmere gloss fronts, with the grey oak bases and tops, which compliment each other perfectly. Thanks Shaun

Avoid

Avoid – poor quality, no accountability, still waiting for refund
I would strongly advise avoiding this company

We purchased a 3 & 2 seater sofa set in December. When we visited the store, we were pressured into leaving a positive Trustpilot review immediately after purchase which I now regret, as it was done before we had even received the item.
we asked via email if delivery could be made on a specific date. We were told yes, but would be charged £50 per week for “storage.” During the same call, we were also told delivery on that date wasn’t guaranteed. However, shortly after paying the £50, we received a text confirming delivery on the exact date requested — making the extra charge feel completely unnecessary.
Within just 3 days of receiving the sofa, issues appeared: a rip underneath, a loud squeak when sitting down, and a seam already starting to come apart.
When we first raised the complaint, the company took no accountability and instead passed us straight over to the delivery company, despite the faults clearly being with the sofa itself. This caused further delays and frustration.
Trying to contact them was extremely difficult. Calls went unanswered, so we had to rely on email. After waiting 3 days for a reply, we were asked to resend all information along with photos and videos. We were told it would be passed to the faults team, but heard nothing further.
We even went back into the store, only to be told they were “just the sales team” and would forward the complaint something that had already been done multiple times.
From December to April, after constant chasing, we were finally offered a repair. This is unacceptable for a brand new sofa that developed faults within 3 days. We requested a refund, which is our right, but were told only a replacement was possible — which we do not want.
The sofa was eventually collected, but it has now been 3 weeks and we are still waiting for our refund. We were told 14 days that time has now passed.
This has been a stressful and frustrating experience from start to finish. If this is not resolved immediately, we will escalate the matter to Trading Standards and take legal action!

We have contacted the bank and they haven't received the funds therefore we have asked for proof has this even been sent?

Don’t buy in store

Absolutely awful cancel or exchange policy if you buy in store . Which no member of staff tell you about . We ordered a table and chairs and with in 24 hours we went back to ask if we could change the order for another table as it wasn’t coming in stock till mid June . They said in store customer services will ring you . They did they want another £100 admin fee plus we don’t get back any money for having a cheaper table even though they’ve not even got them in stock . If you cancel order all together they want 25 to 50 percent of the price of order 😳😳. So trading standards here we come . So please please please do not order in store as if you need to amend anything it will come at a hefty price . My advice don’t buy any thing from this company. They’ve just replied . Still not willing to refund any of the extra money we paid 🙄 bet you don’t get repeat customers .

If I could give zero stars I WOULD!!

If I could give zero stars I WOULD!!! Where do I begin....an absolute shambles of a company to deal with. Ordered goods Dec last year...delivery in their terms APPROX 10 to 12 weeks! Have never ever had a single email or phone call to keep me updated on the lateness I have always had to contact them...phonecall after phonecall and well over 10 emails from different people instead of the same person that dealt with the first email...shocking. Anyway we ended up cancelling the order for non delivery of goods under section 28 of the consumer rights act 2015 and also requested a full refund which we had to go through a section 75 credit card dispute but now we have our money back. NCF just kept putting our order back with no real idea on when we are going to receive it. The manager of the stoke store was helpful and empathised with us but couldn't definitely say when...infact the factory ours was coming from has only been open 6 weeks!! So why not tell us it's on back order from the start instead of fobbing us off with a promise just to get the sale. We only went there as DFS told us 13 to 16 weeks and its coming from China...we knew NCF were made in UK but we recently found out that only 50% of their sofa designs are made here the rest are the far east...guess where ours is? Yep you got it....China. probably still on the boat. They also said when we cancelled that we would have to pay 50% cancellation fee...I asked why as we're not cancelling because we don't want it...I'm cancelling because we're fed up of waiting for delivery and NCF have breached there terms and conditions. Please make sure if you buy from here you get PROPER delivery information and don't be fobbed off just for the sale etc but in my experience I would avoid at all costs.

Ps...we now have our new sofa from a local company all british made and delivered in a week. NOW THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT.
