Poor service from start to finish.

Poor service from start to finish.

Ordered my sofa from the Gateshead store, the sales people were helpful and friendly, no complaints there.

However when it came to delivery the promised 7-10 days was a total joke. It got to the stage where I was in the shop every day chasing.

There is no way to contact them directly in store and nobody ever picked up the customer service number despite ringing repeatedly. Emails are unanswered. Even when you go in store the most the staff can do I leave a note on the system for someone else to ignore! I even wrote an email to the CEO's team which was again ignored so I guess it comes from the top!

The delivery company is called Furdeco and according to in store staff they missed the initial collection for some reason, then only picked up the sofa and not the chair.

On the whole, until they sort out the delivery company and make some massive improvements to the customer service I wouldn't recommend which is a shame as the sofa itself is nice and well priced

Was looking for a new Bed spontanously…

Was looking for a new Bed spontanously due to some water damage at my dorm, simmy jumped right into action and helped me find a quick replacement with exactly the right measures! Lovely experience

In store experience great

In store experience great, told 10-12 weeks for delivery heard nothing went on to track my order an that said expected date in to warehouse was going to be after 15 weeks, just checked again and now saying in to warehouse at what will be over 18 weeks then longer fo delivery, had no contact from them except when I’ve called them, just spoke to them can’t tell me anything “must be delayed at port” asked about cancelling order and apparently would cost me 50% penalty!

In a further update as I am tracking the progress of my order now delayed to almost 20 weeks from order to the receiving in warehouse and have they contacted me to let me know, hell no! So that’s almost doubled the estimated delivery time, if any more delays will be looking at getting out of this without triggering the ridiculous 50% cancellation charge, do they expect you to just wait forever!

Class service from Zoe today

Can’t thank Zoe at Gateshead enough for all her help today. I’m in the process of buying a new house so wanting a new sofa and dining table, after describing what I was looking for she guided me to a sofa perfect for us. Gave reassurance with the home buyer plan sorted the order out got us on our way in no time. She was so polite friendly had a great sense of humour, I’ll even forgive her for calling me old😜

NCF Living Poor customer care

I have completed trustpilot previously and scored NCF with a two due to really poor customer service and leaving me with a damaged couch from when the item was delivered. Three months on they replied by have not took accountability for the damage. I would score this company as a zero if I could and we will never use NCF living again for any furniture
