I visited the Gateshead MetroCentre…
I visited the Gateshead MetroCentre store today !! Wow was very impressed by one member of staff in particular. I was greeted by Andy ! For being a ginger he was anything but fiery ... he gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home straight away. A stark contrast from the next shop up which to be honest was the most boring shop I've walked into. We were pounced on by a guy with an over exaggerated accent ! The sexy ginger one showed us around the dinning tables and I felt like I wanted to invite him over for a meal and dine on our potential new table. My house isn't quite ready yet but we picked out a lovely one and we will be returning to make a purchase soon. He was very knowledgable and clearly you guys train your staff to a high standard. Very good !!

Fantastic Customer Service

First time bed shopping, experience was great
Myself and my partner visited today to have a look at mattresses and beds.
Amanda was great.
She showed us around and there was no pressure to buy either which makes a change from other bed places.
I got a complimentary hot chocolate which was superb and left very happy with my purchase.

Don’t shop here
We visited the NCF Living store at Gateshead Metro centre and purchased a table with chairs and a bed.
The in-store sales experience was positive: staff were polite and helpful. As we bought the furniture in October we were informed it would be with us just before Christmas
Delivery date was not given to us by mid December so we tried calling the store however they don’t have a phone so tried head office which was pointless: no one answers, or you are put in a queue and when it’s supposedly your turn, no one picks up. So I emailed customer service and was informed that the bed base had not been collected by Furdeco.
We eventually went back to the store in person twice where they confirmed that the delivery would finally be on the 21st of January we received a voicemail saying the table would be delivered the following week.
The delivery took place and the bed is laughable the head board is 17cm above the mattress and looks ridiculous.
So again I have sat on the phone all day trying to get though and get to the front of the queue to have a machine tell me there is no one to take my call and the call is ending at there end.
The total level of disorganisation and lack of communication is unacceptable. Absolutely ridiculous.
Only buy from the store if you can take the goods away either you otherwise stay away from NCF living
