The Windscreen repair was excellent
The Windscreen repair was excellent. The gentlemen carrying out the repair was exceptional. Excellent on his part.
The issue was making the booking stick. Re arranged 3 times and messages and emails a plenty. If I ask my insurance company on renewal who the approved windscreen company is, if its national windscreens, I'll carry on shopping.

The main area for improvement from my point of view, to gain staff from the local area. I experienced delay in staff being at the company unit [requested to drop car at 08:30 and no one on site until 09:10] as they were required to travel miles to be there, this can often lead to delays and frustrations. This is not helpful when arranging support/help with travel from friends [to drop of my car] who have busy days, resulting having no means of transports as they needed to be somewhere else. The advertised telephone number requires updating at the work unit as the number is out of use, very frustrating when waiting.

I was not satisfied with the repair
I was not satisfied with the repair. I ve had similar chips repaired which were much less visible on completion. I therefore had to opt for the screen to be replaced. It’s difficult to prove the job could have been done better but i think it could.
It was however an easy service to book and use, and I was kept informed when appointment was changed. Just not a good result for me.
