Excellent, Efficient and Patient Focused Service
I had a fantastic experience with my recent consultation. I booked the appointment online the evening before, which was quick and straightforward.
The video consultation took place exactly on time, and the pharmacist I spoke with was both friendly and very knowledgeable. They listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and made the whole experience feel professional and reassuring.
My prescription was also sent out promptly, which made the process seamless from start to finish.
Overall, an excellent service convenient, efficient, and patient-focused. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again.

The consultation was fine but…
The consultation was fine but unfortunately the medications took three days to arrive. Now that many pharmacies are offering a face to face consultation service I would recommend people consider these instead as you would receive your medications directly from the pharmacy, at the time of the consultation.

Please be assured that your prescription was dispatched the same day in good faith to our courier; unfortunately, there were delays at the depot, which caused it to arrive a day later. You’re absolutely right to expect better, and we take full responsibility for letting you down.
Once packages leave our pharmacists’ hands, our control is limited but that doesn’t excuse the experience you had. We work only with partners who share our commitment to timely delivery and are constantly improving our processes to ensure a better experience for our customers.
We also understand that face-to-face consultations can be convenient for some people, and it’s great that there are options available. At the same time, our service offers the flexibility of remote consultations, allowing patients to speak with a pharmacist from the comfort of their own home and receive medications delivered safely and directly to their door. Many of our patients find this especially helpful when visiting a pharmacy in person is difficult or time-sensitive.
We always aim to provide safe, convenient, and timely care, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to support patients in the way that works best for them.
In the future, if you choose to use our service again, you can opt for the postage upgrade for guaranteed next-day delivery, ensuring your order arrives on time.

I was refereed to this service my a GP…
I was refereed to this service my a GP at my normal practice, At 79 years old, he or she had know Idea if I was computer illiterate, and was able to contact My Local Surgery, I followed the link in the text message to book a video consultation at a certain time.
I logged into the room a few minuets early and waited, but nothing happened.
Apparently the consultation was eventually cancelled.
I quickly contacted My Local Surgery to say what had happened and another Video consultation was arranged for approximately 45 minuets later.
The consultation went OK and medication was prescribed, I was advised that my medication wouldn’t arrive until Wednesday as my consultation took place after the next day cut off time.
The Medication arrived on time today,
I have taken part in Video consultations before and was able to see the person on the other end as well as speaking to them,.
I didn’t see anyone else on the screen while I was speaking to the Pharmacist, it was like speaking to my self. it might have been a phone call.
This could of been a problem my end but don’t think it was.

In regard to the 45-minute wait, unfortunately there were no earlier appointments available at that time. The slot you were offered was the earliest we could arrange, but I’m very sorry that you had to wait, especially while you were in pain.
Regarding the consultation itself, I’m sorry to hear that you were unable to see the pharmacist during your appointment. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, as video consultations should feel clear, personal, and reassuring. We will review this to understand what may have gone wrong.
That said, I’m pleased that you were able to complete the consultation and that your medication arrived as advised.

Didn’t work. I was waiting in a “consultation” for over 30 mins on two separate occasions and no one else joined. Flagged my concerns and asked for a callback but nothing happened. Very disappointing and a complete waste of time.

We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to wait so long.
It looks like your first consultation was impacted by technical issues, and you waited for around 20 minutes in the first session. We are looking into this to try and prevent this happening in future.
As we understand it, the pharmacist for your rescheduled appointment, at 14:30, joined 15 minutes before the new consultation to make sure everything was working properly and we can see you were prescribed the appropriate treatment in the consultation. Your prescription has already been dispatched with the courier the same day to ensure it reaches you as soon as possible and this is due to be delivered by today.
You mentioned in your feedback that you felt your time was wasted on two occasions. If we’ve misunderstood this, please do let us know so we can address it properly..
