From the moment I called early in the morning Mikaila was only helpful...She was able to organise parts ..keep in touch with me ..and deliver a superb service...
We were so thrilled at how the whole team worked for us and we were notified..much earlier than expected..that the car was ready!
We have only had good experiences with everything they do with our Golf..
Thanks to everyone at Southland..but especially Mikaila.

I would give these guys zero stars if I could.

I made the mistake of booking my car into the Southland Mycar Tyre & Auto Centre on Saturday, and I can only describe my experience as appalling.

They called me to say they couldn't remove my wheels because each one had a VW locking wheel nut and the key was missing from my car. I was very surprised they didn't have a universal removal tool or another way of dealing with it. YouTube is full of videos showing people removing locking wheel nuts with nothing more than a socket set. The manager who called me, however, wasn't interested in finding a solution. He simply couldn't have cared less.

After spending $60 on Ubers travelling back and forth, I was left with nothing.

I then called Bob Jane in Moorabbin, and they said, "No problem at all. We have a tool that can remove those, and we'll replace the locking wheel nuts with standard wheel nuts." It was that simple. Why couldn't Mycar come up with the same solution?

To make matters worse, I had paid using Zip Money. The receptionist didn't know how to process the refund and asked me to present my Zip card from my digital wallet. Unfortunately, she processed the refund to my Zip Pay account instead of Zip Money. As a result, the refund has effectively disappeared, and I'm now more than $1,000 out of pocket while I try to untangle the mess. I now have to provide paperwork to Zip in the hope of recovering my money.

I seriously doubt these guys have the skills to do anything beyond pumping air into tyres, let alone perform more complicated mechanical work. From start to finish, the whole experience was an absolute nightmare.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Westfield Southland. Every member of staff that I have dealt with over the last few years there has been exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and always so helpful. I have no doubt that everyone who has been there has had the same experience and I recommend that you check them out first, the next time you need your car attended to. Unparalleled customer service!
