Car was delivered with two problems…

Car was delivered with two problems reported. 1 needed a part delivering which we waited all day to arrive, but told at the end of the day it needed to be ordered in, so booked for another day. Computer didn’t send my msg to say my car was ready, so after 3 phone calls I was able to collect the car, now past closing time. Needed the car for work the next morning, so manager stayed on til I got there.

Car service

I dropped car off at 8:30am and advised would be around 2.30pm ready.
Log book service not entered into book as stated by staff when I checked this, hence I had to re-enter the premises to have it done.
Had asked Tyres to be rotated when wheel alignment was done and this hadn’t been done as the back Tyre on drivers side still the same one as before
Didn’t receive call to advise car was ready for pick up when I was advised I would receive a call and I went there myself around 4pm to check. Car not left tidy things out on the floor from the glove box.

I booked my ute in online to change…

I booked my ute in online to change tyres and pepaid for it. Took in my ute and on pick up, they charged me $260. This was because they put on tyres I didn’t order. Instead of calling me to confirm they will be putting a more expensive tyre on they just went ahead with it. No happy

Don't go to MyCar Tyre & Auto, Midland!!

Chose a different place to service my car as it was near the Midland Gate shops & I could book in quickly. Mentioned on my online booking I required a gas strut & it was not ready on the day but they got one in quickly. The quote provided on email was lengthy & pricey, would not pay $399 for 2 tyres without wheel alignment included in that price. Went to my usual tyre place & they can offer a much better price. They were also shocked about them saying I needed a new battery & the price plus the control arms/bushes were fine upon inspection when doing tyres. The tyre place also informed me they had other customers coming with complaints from MyCar. Lucky I do my homework. I also had air filter listed twice on my quote with different prices! They are the only car service place who have serviced my car without a vacuum or complimentary air freshener. They are friendly staff but I do not trust their work.

No fuss

No fuss. Able to drop off the night before (more convenient for me). myCar were able to provide a partial discount, even though I missed out by a week on an emailed 20% discount offer.

Well we have been there before

Well we have been there before. Reception, no smiles or greetings. We were early and waited until the service was finished. Had a list of extras needed as usual but we are Pensioners and so did not go for them.
Service seems good and hop[e the car goes well.

Price given up front & informed of further work required before said work carried out

The price for the service was given up front. On inspection, further work was required which I was informed of along with the extra cost before it was carried out, thereby giving me the option to have the extra work done or not. This was all done in a timely & efficient manner. Thankyou.
My only gripe is that it is often hard to get through by phone. Also, it would be nice to receive a reminder that a service is due rather than having to remember to check the sticker on the windscreen!
