Excellent and professional service by reception staff. Very happy with the attention to car given by mechanics. Receiving the 'road side assist' was a much appreciated addition. Will be using MyCar' for all future repairs I have.

Further to my Review of 8 September 2025 as to my Bad Experience with Mycar Browns Plains, I now have another Bad Review to write.

Since the replacement of my front Springs/Shockies by Browns Plains due to they not compressing Shocks/ Springs when putting my vehicle on a hoist, I once again had to return to them, much against my will and frustration as the back Springs/Shockies let go.

When my vehicle was originally collected following the front Springs/Shockies repair, the car drove hard and had a slight bounce to the front, but thoughts were that the new Springs/Shockies needed time to settle in.

Well was I wrong! Just recently my husband was driving the vehicle and it started bouncing all over the road again. This he believed was again the recurrence of the original repair. On attending Mycar to have the vehicle checked over we were told that it was not a recurrence of the front Springs/Shockies, but that our rear Springs/Shockies had gone.

We believe that it seems uncanny that a vehicle that came in for a radiator repair that was running beautifully has been returned to us and required both front and now new rear shock absorbers indicates that the Mechanics that have worked on this vehicle have caused these issues and we do not believe that this is a cost that should be passed on to a client.

We appreciate that the front Springs/Shockies were repaired at no charge to honour customer service but are certainly aggrieved that we were asked to pay for the repairs to the rear Springs/Shockies. As mentioned previously in this Review, this car was running beautifully with no Shock Absorber issues prior to bring this vehicle in for Radiator repair. As indicated, Springs/Shockies should be compressed when a vehicle is put on a hoist.

We were then asked to pay for these rear replacements at a cost of $1,183.00. Much against the grain, we paid, even though it was brought to their attention that we believed that it was due to their inadequacy.

It should also be noted that Customer Service Department on 13 October 2025 emailed saying that they had escalated our initial complaint and "will take the necessary steps to provide additional training and coaching where appropriate to our store to prevent such incidents in the future." What a cop out as they couldn't even pick up the phone and discuss it with us.

With regard to this new complaint, on 28 November 2025 we endeavoured to make contact with Customer Service by phone, only to get a message stating "unable to take your call, please leave Rego Number and we will call you back". Despite making several calls, to date we have not received a call back.

Obviously the Customer Care/Complaints Department is as good as their Mechanical Service Department. It is inept or incompetent.

Please be aware and do not use Browns Plains Mycar for any vehicle work that you require. Their Mechanic doesn't take care or pride in his/her work.

The belt was covered with grease and when I told the staff they simply just wipe it upon looking more there was grease everywhere in the car driver seat super disappointed

Despite being understaffed on teh day, was able to assess my car and inform me of what works to be done.

I was reluctant to use My Car as I thought it might be a cheap version of a mechanic shop. I was greeted warmly and ask if they would let me know if anything came up with the service. I got a call they had found a serious issue with my brakes, they ran thru everything in detail. I had to bring the car back to fully fix the issue. I was happy with my service and I'd be happy to return
