Thank you for taking your time to detail the situation . We apologise for this experience the virgin hair is from 2-3 hair donors. In few rare occasions factory tend to over treat them mistakenly just to ensure they are free from nits. This unfortunately could be responsible for the chemical smell. We do apologise for this experience
