My experience with Motorpoint has been extremely disappointing.

I purchased my car believing it came with a valid manufacturer's warranty and a full service history. When the vehicle developed a serious fault, I was later informed that the 2024 service history cannot be located.

Despite this, I am now being told that I need to pay for further diagnostics and obtain evidence from MG before Motorpoint will consider helping. At the same time, Motorpoint has acknowledged that a missing service history does not automatically invalidate a warranty, yet they are requiring me to prove that the missing service is the sole reason any warranty claim is refused.

The communication has also been frustrating. Responses have often taken several days, leaving me without answers while my car has been off the road. I have had to chase for updates repeatedly, and I now feel as though the responsibility has been passed entirely onto me, despite the missing service history being an issue that came to light after my purchase.

The matter is still ongoing, so I cannot comment on the final outcome. However, based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend Motorpoint. I hope they reconsider their approach and take greater responsibility for resolving this situation fairly

Really helpful staff. Everything went smoothly

We wanted to sell our car . Took our car to Swansea on Monday 27thJuly 2.30pm they deducted £50 because mileage was different but we had to drive there. Promised money within 2 hours we left and and went home. The next day the money still wasnt in the account we called up Swansea at 5.10pm the manager had gone home. The receptionist said the accounts dept had a backlog but this isnt our problem. So their advert about getting paid in 60 seconds or the next day is misleading. Be very careful when dealing with them. All is not as promised.

Was really surprised with the range and standard of cars at the swansea dealership. Didn't feel pressured into buying a car. lovely staff felt really welcome would definitely recommend motorpoint

zero communication when trying to contact aftersales.
cannot fault Keiron when attending store was helpful but when tried to ring store after a few days frustrated being on phone for at least 30mins. without help .

Tristan was very helpful and not pushy, just what a salesman needs to be.

We had an excellent experience at Motorpoint Swansea, and a huge part of that was thanks to Joe. From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, approachable and completely professional. There was never any pressure to buy, and he took the time to answer all of our questions honestly and thoroughly.

Joe made the whole process of purchasing our 2021 Nissan Juke straightforward and stress-free. He kept us informed every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and made sure we were completely happy before we left.

It's refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely cares about providing great customer service rather than just making a sale. Joe is a real credit to Motorpoint Swansea, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend both him and the dealership to anyone looking for a car.

Me and my family decided on a random day to go to motorpoint just to have a “look”, Elliot assisted with what my dream car was. He talked through everything and giving me a better understanding in everything. We wanted to look at other dealerships but we came back within 10 minutes 😂. Elliot was enthusiastic which made the whole experience exciting.

From the moment we arrived at Motorpoint, Reece at the Swansea branch made us feel welcome and completely at ease. He was approachable, patient, professional, and had a brilliant sense of humour. His friendly banter made the whole experience enjoyable, and it felt like he genuinely cared about helping us rather than just making a sale. One of the things I appreciated most was that I never felt under any pressure to buy a car. Reece gave us the time we needed to look around, ask questions, and make the right decision for us. He explained everything clearly, was honest throughout, and nothing ever felt rushed. My partner and daughter both commented on how lovely Reece was, and we all agreed that his customer service was exceptional. People like Reece are hard to come by these days, and he’s a real asset to Motorpoint. I honestly can’t thank him enough for everything he did, simply for being himself and making what could have been a stressful experience such an enjoyable one.

All staff we met were polite, knowledgeable and friendly
For example I left my driving licence at Motorpoint on one occasion but by the time we reached home there was a message to say it was safe and would be returned on our next visit.
All round a satisfactory outcome.

We said on collection the car valet was not thorough and that we thought the car had 360 cameras and front sensors which it doesn't have. Sales advisors though 5/5 did a good job .please feed that back .

My experience with Motorpoint was excellent from start to finish. I dealt with Reece at the Swansea branch, and he was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, incredibly patient, and had a great sense of humour. He loved a bit of banter, which made the whole experience feel relaxed, enjoyable, and personal rather than just another car sale.

At no point did I feel pressured into buying a car or making any decisions before I was ready, which I really appreciated. Reece took the time to answer all of my questions honestly, never rushed me, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. He went above and beyond to make everything as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

There really should be more people like Reece. He’s a genuine credit to Motorpoint. My partner and my daughter both thought he was brilliant too, and I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Motorpoint just because of the service Reece provided. I can’t thank him enough for being so amazing and simply being himself. He made what can often be a stressful experience into a genuinely enjoyable one, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

Having a bit of a distrust of car sales and after service this came as a bit of a surprise!! I bought my new (to me) Discovery sport from Motorpoint Swansea on 21/6/26 and added the extra 4 year warranty due to its low mileage and newness. The salesguy (Kiran) was a credit, no pressure sales, perfect communication and the deal was settled. Kiran really was a breath of fresh air as a sales guy and was a pleasure to deal with. After about 3 days an engine management light came on on the dash so, no worries, i rang the warranty people and they informed me the warranty didn't start until after 10 days of ownership...that's when the alarm bells started ringing! I plugged in my OBD reader and it came back with an O2 sensor fault on the exhaust, post cat, not a huge job but I had only owned the car a few days and that just wasn't right for me to have to fix it. So i spoke to Charlotte at Motorpoint customer service with not much hope. She asked me to take the car back to Swansea for it to be looked at, which meant a day off work and a 3 hour round trip, after explaining this she asked me to take it to a local, VAT registered, garage and she would authorise a 1hr diagnostic check. The garage couldn't fit me in until the 20th of July but assured me it was ok to drive until then. Explained this to Charlotte who said that was fine, car went in yesterday, the garage emailed Charlotte with the results and cost of repair, she authorised the repair straight away and I had my fixed car back mid afternoon after she paid the bill. Honestly, I was in shock....awesome aftersales service from start to finish and a pleasure to deal with, Well done Motorpoint, Charlotte and Kiran!!

Fantastic service,no one hounds you to buy a car. they offer you useful advice then let you have a look around.
