Gorkam at the chingford branch is always so helpful and efficient. He’s helped do my last 3 cars and everytime he makes it as easy as it can be. Thanks again to him and the motorpoint team who were helpful chipping in on their parts. Decent range of cars, and got me a good price on the one I wanted.

I never leave bad reviews but this place really inconvenienced me and wasted my time. I bought my car in for a valuation I mentioned at the appointment that one of my services was done late and hasn’t been updated on my service history but it’s in the process they said it was fine. On the day I declined the offer they gave me but I was told the price would remain the same if I changed my mind within 2 weeks, I came back literally 2 days later they booked me in for 6 I had to leave work to get there early but then when I got there they told me I had to leave the car over night as it’s too late to do the process now well then why would you give me an appointment for 6?? Anyway I left my car with them the next day they called me and said they’re knocking off about £1000 from the valuation because my service that was late counts as a missed service?? Even though I already mentioned everything when I first came in and was told it was fine. The lady that called me was passive aggressive and seemed like I was inconveniencing her by asking questions or trying to negotiate I once again had to leave work to go get my car back they completely wasted my time

Staff are welcoming, premises are clean attractive. Fair range of cars good no pressure system of leaving you with the car to look at your leisure. Good customer parking.

I purchased a Nissan Leaf from Motorpoint in late 2025. Within three months the battery failed completely. I have now been without my car for 76 days and the repair is still not complete despite a written promise earlier this month it would be returned within 7-10 days — a promise that has been broken.
During this time I have had to often chase the repair myself, as Motorpoint told me they were also unable to contact the garage carrying out the work. A courtesy car was offered only after I raised a formal complaint, nearly two months after the breakdown.

I have raised a formal complaint with the Motor Ombudsman. Motorpoint has declined to engage with my compensation claim.
I would caution anyone buying a used vehicle from Motorpoint to ensure they understand their rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 before purchasing.

Good customer service only one thing the car should at least given a new car mat at least. It’s a lot of money spending to purchase a car the least you can get is a Mat.
