My old address somehow was put in as my…
My old address somehow was put in as my “mailing address” even though my billing address was somehow correct. When I received an email showing the wrong address I emailed right away. They stated they couldn’t change it, so I’m out $45. 🤷🏻♀️
They were not helpful, and unfortunately have lost a customer.

Mother root disappointing
I bought mine and I’m fed up with all the positive reviews on face book and when you put a negative review it won’t come up so you get pulled in to buying it , I think it’s so disappointing and so overpriced!! If I had seen this I would never have bought it go and get a ginger shot instead

I’m giving it 1* due to the price. I actually really like it but to be honest i think it’s a bit of a rip off costing £28 . I think i’m gonna go back to making my own ginger and apple cider vinegar drinks which cost a fraction of the cost and i’m sure the health benefits are just as good. Sorry Mother Root

I bought my first bottle from Waitrose…
I bought my first bottle from Waitrose in January and really loved it. So much so I just ordered 2 bottles from the website. However, there seems to be a batch inconsistency? It's nowhere near as fiery as the first bottle I received and that's without changing the measured amounts of mother root and tonic. Otherwise I really love the flavour but preferred it more fiery, I feel like i'm going to need to use more than the 25ml per drink which at the current price, is a bit disappointing.

I’m really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your second purchase, we definitely haven’t made any changes to the recipe. Giving the bottle a very vigorous shake before every pour is key, as the ginger and chilli can settle and affect the intensity in the glass.

The customer comes first!
I had placed an order for the Mother Root elixir, but saw that it contained an extract of chili peppers. Since that ingredient plays havoc on my digestive tract,
I contacted the company to cancel my order. They did so efficiently and effectively, so that I was not stuck with a product that I could not use.
Mother Root also informed me that future products will be more suited to my specific needs. Now THAT is what I call excellent customer service.

A non alcoholic winner
I have tried several non-alcoholic aperitif mixes, however Mother Root is by far the most "grown up" flavour! It's delicious!
Mixed with ice and tonic its fiery ginger stands out but with honey and vinegar notes. Sounds odd but, in my opinion, tastes wonderful.

My first purchase/taste will definitely be my last. I only wish I could get a refund on the 29.00 paid

Shipping Address Error
I had placed an order to be sent to my son in AZ. Unfortunately, I did not double check the shipping address which as his street address but my city, state and zip. I sent an email once I noted the error and very promptly I received a reply advising me that it would be taken care of and shipped to AZ. I WAS THRILLED,

Pleasantly surprised…
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this product and as we have both been enduring Dry January! We found Mother Root, to be a really good distraction from alcohol. The intense ginger and chilli 🌶 made the drink sophisticated to the palette. I enjoyed it with soda water and my wife preferred it with lemonade. The only recommendation for improvement would be for the bottle lid to be the reccomended 25ml measure, as im not sure everyone has one to hand.

My bottle arrived quickly, well-packaged and in excellent condition. I was surprised by how pleasant it tasted. The apple cider vinegar gives it a 'kick' I found quite unique. I am mixing it with Mexican Lime Soda and loving it.

Delicious alternative to booze
I never usually write reviews but felt I should give mother root the praise it deserves. I’m often looking for alternatives to alcohol and have tried many over the last few years but this stands out by a long way. It’s delicious and feels like a proper treat. It’s giving me the same ‘ahhh, relax’ feeling at the end of the day that a gin and tonic gives. I’m looking forward to the rhubarb coming back into stock - I’ll definitely be trying it. Great work mother root - my easiest dry January to date!

Delicious, good customer service
I find the product very delicious. They clearly advertise that Apple cider vinegar is an ingredient, so if that's not for you, be advised. The initial package was misdelivered and stolen, and customer service was excellent and shipped me a replacement very quickly.
