Customer service is non-existent

Customer service is non-existent. I have finally received the milk-maker after 6 weeks but the packaging was inadequate so the milk maker arrived damaged. I have emailed with videos and photographs without a response. I just want a refund!

STILL HAVEN'T RECIEVED MY ITEMS 2 MONTHS AFTER PLACING THE ORDER!
Originally placed order Jan 6th, waited 2 weeks and had to contact them to be told items wouldn't be in stock until the end of Jan.
Fast forward, my milk maker arrived without the storage bottles! We are now March 11th and I'm still yet to recieve.
SARAH AND STEPHANIE most unhelpful and literally just reply with empty words they give no tracking or real substance in the replies.

Avoid this company, they don't honour returns

Still waiting for my item even though it said an order is on its way 12 days ago. And wrote to customer service and have heard nothing. I wish I'd read the reviews of people who had had a similar experience before ordering. AVOID

Further to my first comment, I did receive the product but decided I didn't want to keep it, it wasn't what I was after. I was offered first 20% off then 40% off to keep it. I just wanted to return it but since then despite several more emails from me requesting the address to return it I have heard nothing. This can't be legal to just ignore a request to return the product? Please whatever you do don't buy this product as you will not be able to return it if not satisfied. I am stuck with something I paid £130 for which I don't want.

Avoid this company

I ordered January machine arrived with no bottles they constantly refuse to arrange a return in the UK and have now sent the bottles out apparently even though I repeatedly told them I no longer want the machine they can have it back at a UK address and Klarna pay in 3 are allowing this to happen they do not protect you from these scammers, I have no intention of keeping this machine and want a full refund, they have as far as I am aware been selling the bottles since January when I placed my order and they kept informing me they were not in stock yet, avoid this company they are totally dishonest lied to Klarna and me but I am not backing down they can have there machine back. There advert is also extremely misleading oat milk cannot be made easily unless you want a slimy disgusting one. They are ignorant rude and ignore everything you request them to do, they clearly have a UK returns centre but insist you return it to the USA or China or whatever other place they can think of that will mean you lose money.

£31.85 to return to USA and still no refund

The item took weeks & weeks to arrive, without the advertised plastic bottles, an with error codes as soon as I switched it on, so I asked for a refund. In was offered discounts, up to 40% off what I paid, which made me suspicious and then on 7th Feb asked to post to the USA at my cost. I did it cost £31.85. At least I might recover some money. On 23rd Feb I was given an address to return to in the UK which of course would have saved me a fortune. I have opened a paypal dispute

No recipe book in box

I rec'd my machine two days ago. I read the little booklet that came with it but there was no recipe book. The print is very small in the booklet...would be nice if it was printed in a larger font. Can you please send the recipe book? Also, the booklet referred to a brush but there was no brush in the box.

Bad service, bad product

I ordered this product in plenty of time before my holiday, they said they did not have any stock and the date it would be delivered would be when i was on holiday. I wrote them emails to say i would be away and i wanted it delivered to a neighbour. They said they couldnt change the delivery place. In the end it was delivered to my neighbours shed, without a door, totally unsafe place. Luckily my neighbour saw the postman and took it in. I got the machine and just tried it tonight, it was very noisy, my partner couldnt turn it off and then when i tried to use the clean function it did not work. Do not buy

Milkin money

It took forever to arrive, 2 months, and only did so after I opened a dispute on PayPal to get my money back. It was also the only way I managed to get them to communicate with me. The instruction manual is mainly concerned with how to use an electrical appliance as if you have never used one before and the recipes included are just bizarre, it claims to have 7 functions including baby food, but the only function that works on mine is the nut milk making function, the self clean function doesn't work and as you can't immerse it in water this makes it very hard to clean. I left a two star review on their website, but suprise, suprise it has not appeared, so goes down to a one star here. Honestly don't waste your money, a blender will do the job just as well.

MASTERS IN TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Avoid Milkin’ Plants at All Costs – THEY ARE A MASTERS in Terrible Customer Service!!

If you value your time, money, and basic customer respect, do not order from Milkin’ Plants. My experience has been nothing short of disgraceful.

I placed an order on 02 Feb 2025 only to be informed 5 days AFTER PAYING !! that the item was out of stock—something they conveniently forgot to mention when happily taking my money!!

What followed was an infuriating series of delays, hollow apologies, and laughable compensation offers. Instead of making things right, they attempted to fob me off with a 20% refund (for a product I still wouldn’t receive), as if that even begins to compensate for their misleading sales tactics and my wasted time??!!.

After pushing for a fair resolution, they ultimately chose to cancel my order rather than actually valuing me as a customer!?!

Their message? We’d rather refund you than take responsibility for our shocking business practices!! - WELL DONE MILKIN’PLANTS ! You should be really “proud” of your Business !!

It’s no wonder they barely scrape together 3.4 stars across all review platforms—this company thrives on deception, cannot maintain basic stock levels, and has zero commitment to customer satisfaction! CLEARLY!

Their so-called “customer service” consists of automated, robotic replies designed to pacify rather than resolve.

A business that treats its paying customers like an inconvenience rather than a priority, doesn’t deserve to exist!

Let this be a warning—save yourself the frustration and take your money elsewhere, guys!

Burns the bottom

First time using it. Followed all the instructions but it started to smell like burning. At the end of the cycle it was clear that the inside was burnt. Doesn’t feel safe to use again. Edit - I filled the water to the indicated line so it wasn’t user error

WOULDN’T EVEN GIVE THEM A 1 STAR !!!!

Wouldn’t even give this a 1 star , purchased on the 24th of December, order still hasn’t arrived it’s now 5th February, I have emailed and they said they had lack of products in warehouse due to high demands which is a lie was emailed to say that if would be shipped from the 17th Jan with tracking number , they did email me back at 1st but now they just ignoring me and now still nothing , no email and just being ignored by them now , they have had over £150 pounds of my hard earned money , and now I’ve been asking for a refund my emails are being ignored , I will take this as far as possible in order to get my money back , absolute scammers !!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM , happy to take your money yet don’t want to communicate once they had ur money , I AM WAITING FOR MY REFUND , so if u have any response Milkin plants only respond as to when u will be refunding me with a full refund !!!! Overall DISGUSTING company and service if u can call it that !!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

This company is completely unethical! I left a review earlier stating that I had not received any support from their customer service team. Their reply? "We responded to you within 24 hours!"

Sure! A guy, Roberto, replied directing me to a generic email, and then I never received a reply. I have reached out to Roberto again (copying the generic email), who told me to reach out again to the generic email... I sent another email... no response! I reached out a third time to both... complete silence!

According to Dutch law, I am entitled to return a product within 14 days without giving a reason. Now, can I please get a return address and my money back?

Did not arrive

Received an email to say the item has been delivered. When I hit the tracking link it stated origin Turkey destination unknown. Paid extra for shipping insurance too. Scammed.

More details were requested to keep my review online. The reply to my email from you when I said it hadn't arrived was you assured me it was arriving in next 5-7 ?days. I then replied reminding you your email stated the order was complete and would I like to put in a new order.
I will update my review if I receive my order.

I have changed my mind and want a refund

I wish l had read the reviews about this company. I placed an order today and chose to pay using kalana. Kalana says l must speak to.Milking Plants first. I found their adress but no phone number so bow do l contact them? It says on the site to return the goods costs 75 dollars. l did not know that the item was coming from America. I am not at all happy.

Still waiting for a refund

I ordered a plant milk maker in early December, it was delivered in 17th January. As this was so late I didn’t want it any more, it was going to be a Christmas present. Milkin plants said to not accept the delivery and have it returned to sender, which I did. It’s now 31st January and I still have not had a refund, despite asking for one on many occasions! I’m really upset by how this company treated me and would not give any stars if this was an option

Nifty little machine - happy with my purchase

Nifty little machine that does what it says. So far we've only made oat milk but it works really quickly, is easy to decant with the provided sieve and easy to clean. I was surprised at just how easy it is.

I've dropped a star based on two negatives - the ridiculous delivery time - its taken over a month to deliver, though they kept me totally informed. Second is the milk bottles. They are made out of a thick but soft and pliable plastic. That wouldn't be an issue except that the lids are not screw on and off but ridged and push and pull. That's not a good combination for a liquid container since it gets everywhere when you're trying to open it. I'm a little bit miffed at having bought the storage set of three since they are effectively unusable.

Really hard experience

Been asked to edit my review by Milkin Plants, ok here goes, it’s the type of product you might buy from Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses. It’s all hype and glossy sales pitch but fails to deliver, it’s like ordering from John Lewis or Marks and Spenders and needing to return an item, it’s easy with JLP or M&S and it’s iffy and expensive with Milkin Plants if you can actually return, it’s like feel the quality, it Oozes out with Milky Plants in their packaging, even the genuine cotton bag, measuring spoon, glass bottle, versus Milkin Plants has a cheap box, no measuring spoon, cheap silicon and all wrapped in a thick plastic postal bag, any maybe the best review is to ask yourself would be be happy giving this as a gift to a loved one, to Dusty Bin maybe, but not to anyone that I cared about, and finally, I bought a new one from Milky Plants (who this lot are trying to imitate (badly and poorly) and I would buy from them again, but from this lot, not a chance but I got refunded (eventually) so I’m finally happy 🙂 but sad there isn’t a no stars facility on here.

I ordered this machine, plus storage bottles and drinking cups way back in December as a present for a friend at total cost of £166.50, luckily I paid using Klarna 3 payments, so initial cost of £55.50.

Problems started as soon as ordered as despite their promise of 5 to 7 day delivery, I was allegedly told they were out of stock due to Christmas (why advertise if you have no product or delivery capability) and that they should have it back in stock by end of January, hence February delivery.

Getting messages re delivery from all sorts, probably scam emails, so message sellers in January to be told “Oh we emailed you to advise no stock but don’t worry we will send it by 21st January, I responded with please cancel order on basis of non delivery and do not send item, and I advised Klarna of issue of non delivery.

To be fair there has been a few emails back n forth and I have felt like they were trying to force me to accept delivery but with being ordered via Klarna I had support with my cancellation request, I asked them to provide a postage paid return label, if they sent it after I had cancelled, and kept up my complaint with Klarna to get my refund made. It’s taken several emails but I finally had notification from Klarna my refund is being processed, some 6 weeks after order, the milk maker and accessories have been sent and delivered and I have been told to keep and accept them free of charge rather than return.

On the actual machine, I unpacked and plugged it in, the power cable/machine socket is not a good fit or in my view safe, you shouldn’t need to wiggle electric leads to make them work, so I won’t be ever using it but I have given it away free with a warning to be careful and read reviews, I see similar machines for sale on Amazon at way less than half what this one was selling for (even after discount) so I’m lucky by all accounts, I have successfully cancelled even if hard, received a machine I’m not certain would pass U.K. safety standards, and can put this experience down as a bitter experience, and check next time before clicking buy on such adverts, but cherry on the cake was I went onto EBay and was able to buy a brand new Milky Plant Machine for £170, even less than this company seeks to charge for their own far inferior product or glorified cheap blender

The delay in delivery was due to an unexpectedly high volume of orders during the Black Friday and Christmas season, we kept all our customers updated.

Once the product arrived, we did our best to find the most suitable solution for you, which is why it may have taken a while. In the end, we even decided to provide a full refund while allowing you to keep the product, which is 100% LFGB approved and undergoes multiple quality checks before being assembled.

Vegan milk maker

The product finally arrived. Plastic packaging. Awful soft plastic bottles and a the machine. Cannot make oat milk as it heats up as it is supposedly is making milk. You get porridge instead. No milk. The actual machine itself is very small. It has baby food function, juice function so not a milk maker. You can only make a tiny amount at a time. If you follow the enclosed recipes you don’t get milk at all. It should say in the add you cannot make the milk you buy in the store. It would be too expensive buying the ingredients. Oat milk is very popular and you think a vegan milk maker would include making oat milk. A bad product that is nothing like it says in the advertising. Save your money and don’t be like me 145.00 pounds out of pocket. That was the Black Friday Price. It is a con/scam

Very dissapointed in this product.

Very dissapointed in this product.
Does not take 5 min. I wanted it for soymilk, it takes 10min to cook, it is then piping hot takes 20 - 30 min to cool, then 15+ min to filter.
Only makes enough in one sitting for a bowl of cereal and 2x coffees.
Does not self clean, in fact spurts water all over then bench during the clean cycle, then you have to clean the product AND the bench top.
Full refund a joke, it will cost me $130 standard post to return, if Milkin are happy on return they will refund, however still out of pocket over $100. Other option is to keep.product andcrecieve a 15% refund approx $15, why would I want to keep a gimmick i will not use?

The program can be stopped at any time one prefer. We recommend running it for about 5 minutes to achieve a great texture, but it can run longer if one prefer an even smoother result.

There’s also no need to wait 20 minutes to cool down the milk, as the milk maker has a dedicated program that blends without heating.

Regarding the self-cleaning program, spills may occur if there’s too much water in the machine.

Finally, we always aim to provide the smoothest return process possible. Our support team must have offered options such as partial refunds or an alternate return address to give you the flexibility to choose the best solution for you.
