The team provided feedback throughout the viewings and also provided helpful broader market info which helped me navigate the process.
Once I’d accepted an offer the service continued with Louise D providing feedback, chasing solicitors and escalating back to me when needed. This was a real game changer in getting it over the line.

I’ve just bought my first home through…
I’ve just bought my first home through Miles and Barr Canterbury. Safe to say I knew nothing about the process and the team helped me massively. Everything was explained to me really well and they were patient even when I asked the same questions over and over. Special thanks to Rebecca and Luke. Luke helped me massively at the beginning as I was unsure on what documents needed sending where and then Rebecca has looked after me until exchange and completion and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our contact with Miles and Barr was predominantly with Emily Stickler. Emily has been fantastic and has always been available to contact with any queries. Emily regularly called us every week to update us on the progress of the sale. 5/5 star service.

Would recommend
Initially when house put on the market, there seemed to be contact and follow up problems (switching over to a new IT system didn’t help). However once IT switch over was finished, then the various offices linked together and worked as one company, it was much improved. The sales people were very pleasant and helpful. Worth an extra mention was the Miles and Barr conveyancer, Louise Daly, who was excellent and kept me updated throughout the sold period and liaised well with my solicitor and my buyer as well as my vender. She was extremely helpful and certainly made a stressful situation and a last minute snag with my buyer, much easier to navigate.

Sophia and also Alice were wonderful
We met both Sophia and also Alice on 25th April to tour Ramsgate and view a range of properties. Really helpful and likeable ladies, with good knowledge of the local area. Really liked that they were both non-salesy (not of the pushing to sell each property), just their honest sharing of the area, the house, and answering all our questions, and promising to get back to us where they couldn't immediately answer. Really enjoyed meeting with them both. Also very punctual, friendly, approachable but professional - nice balance.

They fought in my corner...
Selling a property is often a fraught experience. At the moment, there's a rise in gazundering and I had buyers who tried this with me. There's little estate agents can do about this, but Charlotte Silk who was my regular point of contact and arranged the initial agreement of sale, and Nadine Roberts who was my post-agreement contact really went out to bat for me. Charlotte excelled at negotiations and genuinely came across as interested in getting me the best price and protecting my interests (unlike experiences I've had with different agencies in the past). Nadine was brilliant at chasing up slow solicitors and making sure everything went ahead as smoothly as possible in the circumstances. She was responsible for making sure the date of completion didn't slip when it would have cost me both money and lost me an opportunity with a property purchase I was making abroad. I recommend Miles and Barr and give special thanks to the ladies who had my back.

A fantastic service with brilliant communication. A very professional team!
Before deciding on which estate agent I chose I ask three different local companies to value my property to describe their services and give me an overview of the current market. At the meeting I was really impressed with Miles and Barr, Margate. I have had promises of good service before without it being delivered, however, with Miles and Barr, Margate were true to their word! From the original visit from Graham, meetings with Bradley, conversations with Karen, Hannah and the final stages of the sale with Louise I had an excellent experience. Communication was brilliant and responses to questions and queries was very quick indeed. This has been my best experience of a house sale and I rated this team 5 stars without hesitation. If I was to buy or sell a house again I would use Miles and Barr without question. Thank you Miles and Barr Margate!

Abigail, is exceptional! I am not local to Whitstable and she manages our block of 66 apartments with ease, nothing is a problem for her and she always has the solution. Super knowledgeable and professional and our tenants are so happy with her service which reflects on us! Couldn't recommend her enough!
Throughout the selling process nothing was too much trouble.
We exchanged today and the whole process was made easier with Debbie’s help every step of the way. Debbie Mead was always easy to contact and talk to. If she was busy or even on her days off she would call me back.
I would like to thank all at Miles & Barr for their very efficient helpful guidance.

I had a wonderful experience with Miles and Barr, particularly with their lovely estate agent Jed! I had never had to do a viewing by myself and was slightly apprehensive, but Jed instantly put me at ease. He was so friendly and I really enjoyed chatting with him. My partner and I even put an offer on the house! :) Couldn't recommend Miles and Barr enough - particularly Jed!

Very professional staff
From the very start of selling the property, I've had no issues at all. The staff have been unbelievably helpful and have dealt with any issues that have came up in a professional manner. All the paperwork that needed to be signed, was fully explained so that you had confusion over what was happening.
I was extreamly pleased by the service provided Becky White who kept me fully informed of what was happening with the move and completion of my address. Altogether the whole process was compleatly seemless and would definitely recommend this branch.
