Bathroom converted to a wetroom for…

Had bathroom converted to a wetroom for my 94 year old Mum by Metro Plumbing Warrington. All involved with the process were very professional and punctual and carried out a wonderful job. Dan. "The Boss", kept me well informed at each point. Sean, the Plumber, who carried out the conversion went above and beyond with nothing being too much trouble. He worked relentlessly, was very professional and highly skilled resulting in a beautiful wetroom that now allows Mum to have a shower. Many thanks to all involved all your hard work is very much appreciated.

Good plumbing experience

Shane is a very pleasant and competent plumber. I would highly recommend. He sorted out a leaking issue in my toilet that was triggering my water pump. Sourced, collected and installed the new part in good time

Bank holiday call out

Altho we had a long wait after reporting.what my 77 year old husband thought was a water leak in our tank when the plumber arrived he dealt with us efficiently and was very kind. It proved to be a leak from the shower head! We're very grateful for his help...a.thoroughly nice young mam

SHAMEFUL service by Paul the plumber @ Metro Plum

Paul the plumber - THE WORST plumber I have ever come across in the past 15 years! Came through my home emergency and claimed will not do parts changing as it's a WEEKEND! Will only come and turn a screw to stop a leak and pocket probably well over £100 charing my home insurance.

I had access and trace determine cause of the leak, I had pre-bought the part that needed changing. It was all ready for Paul the plumber to change but did not help out. THE most inconsiderate plumber I have met in my life.

Claimed home emergency only pays me to turn screws and stop leaks! Did not even bother discussing if I could pay him some money on top to change parts as it was his working (but clearly non-working) WEEKEND!

SHAMEFUL TRAINING OF METRO PLUMB OF PERSONNEL!!

Metro Plumb were sent on behalf of my…Bromford Housing Association

Metro Plumb were sent on behalf of my housing association, right from them phoning me up to arrange time, day etc to them coming out,all the employees were all very helpful, polite and very friendly. The first visit was the same day l rang 27th June because the employee was covering a big area my way so they arranged for him to come and have a look, he was so polite and very friendly,managed to do part of job but needed a longer ladder and two people. The next visit two employees came they rang first,arrived on time completed the job fast and efficiently, they also were very polite and again very friendly, so a pat on the back for the employees for their customer service,.Thank you

Need anger management lessons

One of their vans nearly ran me off the road, in front of a police car. If I hadn't taken avoiding action he would have smashed up the side of my car. If the state of their anger on the roads is anything to go by I would never employ these people.

I came across a very rude employee…

I came across a very rude employee
She will shut the phone on you if you ask her questions she doesn’t want to answer,
Tell you stuff without proof and except you to believe it, but once you ask them questions back she shut you down,
Basically trying to rip off the uneducated
I spend a lot of time and interest, but was completely wasted because employee was unwilling to have patience

All contractors should be this pleasant.

The friendly chap knocked on our door this morning, to explain the work they had arrived to do. He said it was to clean the back guttering. I said the front also. They were very efficient and soon had it completed. The chap knocked on my door again to let me know the job was done. I signed his phone (sort of). He was pleasant and smiley. A welcome start to the day and an efficient work carried out.

Had a water leak 18 liter/ hour while…

Had a water leak 18 liter/ hour while on vacation for 5 months.. devastation.. many Plumbers and Thames water could not stop needed a metering guru. Metro Plumb Canary wharf had the man stopped the leak overcame many problems and fitted two stock cocks. The man was brilliant. Never stopped solving all the problems ... SW139BY

They don’t attend emergencies and try to sell products that are not required

Scheduled emergency plumber to arrive but no one turned up. Contacted support team who were nice on the phone but could not get through to the technician. They rescheduled the appointment for the next day (despite insurance company deeming it an emergency to be seen within 4 hours). Again, no one turned up. Recontacted support team who could not get through to the technician. Utterly useless. Avoid them. I’m writing a complaint to the insurance cover as it is not a service that is fit for purpose. They were arranged through Churchill and again I would never use Churchill again as they’re affiliated with these cowboys.

UPDATE:
The emergency plumber arrived 48 hours after, despite it being an emergency call. He came into the property for 4 minutes. Ran around and said that you need track and trace service which he would do privately. Left shortly afterwards.
Contacted home insurance about this and they asked me to do a Quick Look behind the toilet to see if there was any leaking pipe. There was. They were shocked a plumber didn’t even bother to look for this. Have had to request another emergency plumber which can only be sent by metroplumb. And again, they have not arrived. Truly unbelievable how bad this company is.

Had a fabulous experience with metro plumb north/lincoln we had a plumber turn up on multiple jobs think his name was pete fantastic service very knowledgeable resolved the very tricky job and helpful staff in general. But he went the extra mile ensuring we were happy with the services before leaving

Excellent service

Mike was excellent from start to finish. Kept me informed all of the time and workmanship was spot on. He couldn’t do enough for us in resolving our emergency swiftly. He was true to his word and will be definitely using again. Would highly recommend his services. It’s refreshing to find a tradesmen who was reliable, genuine and great at what he does.

Shocking! Avoid unless you want to be sworn at!

I had a leaking T on my main water pipe. They sent someone out to replace the T and as my stopcock failed they added a stop valve. 30 minutes later the nuts along the pipe started leaking. I called the emergency line again and they said someone will be with me by 10pm. I received a call from an engineer around 7pm who basically used the F word every 30 secs and didn’t want to come out. I had to hang up and call the emergency line again and they told me it’s because his van brakes weren’t working and can’t drive an hour to my house ( why is he even on call then if he has dodgy brakes!!!). I was told engineers will arrive in the morning to fix the leaking nuts. I then get sent an update to say it will be in the evening. I called again and eventually got the same guys again. The lead engineer was rude and quite arrogant, the apprentice was actually respectful and apologised to me for his colleagues attitude. They then applied plumbersmate to the nuts and the lead engineer wanted to go right away and had to ask him to stay a few minutes to check for leaks. No leaks were apparent so they left. 30 mins later the leaks returned…. I’m going to book a REAL plumber to do the work in the next few days… stay clear of this company. I wish I never took out home emergency cover as it’s nothing but a bunch of extra stress with poor quality work and staff attitude.
