I have used Metro Plumb Nottingham/Lincoln a number of times for our property maintenance and have received incredibly service. There has always been a quick turnaround from me calling to an engineer being on site and I'm always kept in the loop with what was needed to fix the issues. Harry and his team are brilliant!

Excellent communication from the…

Excellent communication from the receptionist keeping us posted re arrival time. Anton, the, plumber carried out a full investigation, identified the problem very quickly indeed, explaining everything to us throughout. He was professional, experienced and explained to us in a way we could understand. We are very satisfied with Anton , Metro Plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again and will most certainly recommend them to friends and neighbours. Many thanks.

Basically Rude

My insurance called them under Emergency Cover and wouldn't come out on the first day. On the second day they cancelled the call because they said I was abusive when I spoke to the plumber, which I wasn't.

Just tried to complain to the company about the plumber to which they said it was subjective about who was abusive or not and they then started getting abusive and so I put the phone down.

Highly recommended

Came as a contractor for Sheffield City Council, at very short notice, the gent was very polite and resolved my blocked pipes quickly and efficiently. Very impressed!

Currently waiting on an emergency home…

Currently waiting on an emergency home call out since yesterday night. Had a text next day giving me a before call out time. An hour later than the time nobody has bothered to call me so im aware.
Will wait to see outcome the visit which is apparently delayed by possible further 4 hours with no direct communication.

Metro Plumb Warrington excellent service

We have used Metro Plumb Warrington twice in the last year. They replaced the isolator valves for our dishwasher and washing machine in two separate visits, several months apart. The jobs were not emergencies but they attended within a day or two both times. Leah (job #1) and Mike (job #2) were efficient, careful and pleasant. I would highly recommend their services.

Charlie did a great job

Charlie did a great job. Very reasonable price and did the job 48 hours after I contacted him. Lauren at Metro Rod, and another lady, were both very helpful in coordinating it. I will definitely use Charlie and the local Metro Rod team again.

Metro Plumb

My emergency insurance sent metro plumbing out when a pipe burst under my bath and flooded my kitchen. Regan came and was absolutely brilliant so calm and he capped off the pipe and got our water back on and we were able to use the loo again ! I then rang the team a couple of days later and spoke to a lovely gentleman Kyle who explained what happened next and got everything sorted for my insurance ! I’m really hoping they send Regan back to change the pipe and finish the job !! Can’t recommend this company enough 👏🏻😀 !!
I’ve spoken to the lovely Faith today and it turns out I spoke to her Friday in the midst of my leak and then and today she was amazing and she’s booked me in to get my burst pipe changed and booked me in to have Reagan come back to finish the job !! What lovely people I’ve dealt with in this company 5* yet again !! 👏🏻😀

Metro Plumb were assigned by my insurance.…

Metro Plumb were assigned by my emergency insurer . They stated a technician would arrive by 7 pm . At 9 pm I phoned and was told he was delayed due to a difficult case. Operator assigned my case to be first the following morning. At 9 am I phoned to confirm technician was on route and I was assured he would arrive within the hour. No technician arrived and when I phoned the operator they said they had handed the case back to my insurer. Turns out they couldn't get a plumber in my area ( Berkshire). Hence have been without water for 20 hours and have had to start the process all over again. I would give them a minus rating if it was possible.

Left us stranded with water leaking…

Honestly the worse company I have ever dealt with . Emergency plumbing issue and a promise to be at our property, never showed up very rude customer service .
Absolute cowboys save your money and avoid this awful mob.

The gentleman that came to fix my…

The gentleman that came to fix my blocked sink was a star ! His name is Mike and he was courteous, knew exactly what what the problem was despite it being complicated , (had a plumber the previous day from a different company in my house for 3 hours and couldn’t detect the problem )
He was on time , kept in constant touch to let me know the problem , and did an amazing job . I wouldn’t use any other person now for me and my family if plumbing jobs arise . 10 stars out of 10 for him

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE

THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. WAITING OVER A WEEK FOR A REPAIR. WHEN THEY FINALLY TURNED UP ONLY MADE A QUOTE FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND SAID THEY WOULD BE BACK NEXT WEEK. FEW DAYS LATER RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE CONFIRMING VISIT FOR THE 4TH OF JUNE. WHEN I RANG THEM TODAY (4TH OF JUNE), THEY SAID THEY CANCELLED BECAUSE I DIDN'T ANSWER THEIR CALL 2 DAYS AGO (I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THEM AS IT WAS A PRIVATE NUMBER). SEEMS LIKE A CHEECKY EXCUSE AND TOTALLY DISHONEST AND IRRESPONSIBLE. COULDN'T MAKE THIS UP! NOW WAITING FOR THEM TO COME FRIDAY AND THIS WILL BE 12 DAYS AFTER THE INITIAL CLAIM DAY.

Totally misdiagnosed issue which could have caused more damage.

I had a small leak in my kitchen ceiling which was coming from the bathroom - I went through my home insurance to fix. Metroplumb came out - and the two plumbers looked and said it was a pipe from the bath and they would have to go through the kitchen ceiling to fix - they did say they were unable to do it there and then as the ceiling was artex and I needed to check it or asbestos - which I duly did today paying out for a kit, special delivery, climbing up ladders and scraping some of the ceiling. My insurers had also asked another plumbing firm to take a look - they came today - they said there was nothing wrong with the bath, and the problem was the bathroom sink - this was fixed in 20 minutes. My huge concern is if the ceiling had not been artexed, this company would have basically done a job that did not need doing, causig a great deal of upheaval by going through the ceiling in a kitchen - this also probably would have cost a lot of money. They misdiagnosed the problem, they missed something incredibly simple, and would have probably caused more damage - thank goodness for artex ceilings! I was put at risk as I ws up a ladder scraping what could have been asbestos from my ceiling for no reason whatsoever- this really annoyed me - whether these people were either incompetent, or after a lot of money from the insurance company and me i do not know - but i do know, i am so thankful a much better company came out today, diagnosed the problem and fixed in half an hour in total. I have reported thi to my insurance company and would hope metroplumb are removed from their books of approved tradespeople.

Atrocious Service

This review is more about the overall service, communication etc rather than personally against Craig Coyle. This claim of ours has been going on since last November. We have a small leak for a pipe underneath our hot water tank. Craig & Son have completed the investigation, identified the leaking pipe after cutting a hole in our lounge ceiling and then radio silence - I've had to do all the chasing. Only to receive a message (Text) to say the insurers have declined any further work - and that's it????
The whole process from start to finish has been atrocious and I can honestly say I'd never use Metro Plumb ever again. Very unprofessional.
