Terrible service, two weeks wait for any answer to my email and finally got an email with silly questions from Mohd Khan Tak and again is gone, any update still.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Took me nearly 3 years to realise my time was being wasted and I was paying for a service unit I was not supposed to be paying for. On flagging it, someone gave me a cold response about getting refunds and reminded me that my insurance was sold to me by someone who was no longer working for them. Hence, they can not deal with the complaints. Waste of precious time! Do not buy plans from this company. Goodluck!

Biggest scum of all the insurances
I subscribed to the insurance after I was sold the insurance with false information. Was told it was a life policy and only later on discovered that it was not a life policy. Then I cancelled and they refused me to refund my money. I didn’t mind if they even refunded me part of it considering that they had lied to me. I would not recommend this insurance to anyone. What bothers me is that how do these financial institutions operate in the first world. In Africa where you expect rogue companies honestly you would not find such poor practices. I am so so disappointed

Unfortunely this company just sttolen my money,i paied life insurance to metLife for more then 4 years,never made a claim-when my life went a bit more dificult and i was stoped to pay by direct debt(because at this moment i can't set up a direct debt)they told me they dont have other ways to make payments and my policie will cancel itself if i dont pay-I WANT PAY ...they dont have other way for me to make payments,so i ask what happen with all the money i put there for 4 years ,basicly they will keep it for them -Really?? is not my fault-i want a solution,they dont gave me one so please be honest people and gave me my money back!!!! Also the lady who talked with me by phone just sound stupid ,i explained all my problem they just dont care -they work like robots!!

Won’t pay out for injury as stated
Absolute scam of an insurance policy. After submitting the original claim for our daughter my partner was told to pay doctors and professionals for more “proof” of injury to then be left waiting for a result for 4 months. When all along MetLife would’ve known they would refuse the claim due to it being the wrong bone that she broke. So we’re over £50 down for pointless paper work and almost £300 for the monthly payments.

Submitted a claim for an accidental fall almost three weeks ago - still not dealt with and there is absolutely NO timeframe for this to be actioned
If this useless bunch of thieves cannot action a simple hospital claim, there is absolutely NO hope you will get a satisfactory response should something REALLY serious happen to you

Don’t put your trust in this company!
Had a valid claim for my accidental injury. They rejected my claim due to their specialist claim handler deciding fainting and falling down the stairs and breaking your arm is not an accident!
Financial ombudsman now looking into the management of the case, MetLife will do anything to prevent paying out for a claim!
NOT RECOMMEND METLIFE
submitted a claim form for my son 3 weeks ago, I have not received any response or information to this day, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!!!!!! VERY LONG WAITING TIME, NO CONTACT FROM METLIFE, ZERO MONEY, ZERO INFORMATION, EMBARRASSMENT!!!!

Received my money today they have paid me for my pain of 3 units I’m very happy I chose MetLife got my money in 3 days after 2 weeks sending in my claim form I was in a queue but I was out of it within a week! Highly recommend them I will be paying the premium for as long as I live or until it cancels 😂 thanks guys!!!! Oh and Amy is lovely I spoke to her a few times 😁

Have affordable accident insurance in place.
Had to claim for hospital stay - decision in less than 2 weeks, hassle free - just filled the form, sent hospital discharge letter and copy of ID to receive decision in email confirming decent amount of payout (takes 3-5 days to reach bank account).

One of the best experience I have ever…
One of the best experience I have ever received from a company. A few weeks ago, I broke my leg and eventually ended up in hospital for operation. After few night at hospital I have been discharged. Later on I made a claim and last week later I have recited an email that they will pay me for my pain, few days later they transfer me some money to my bank account. I am really happy with them and I would recommend to get yourself covered.
