The good parts:
The quality of the products is wonderful. The hoodies are thick, warm and have a range of colours. The embroidery was clean and perfect, no flaws whatsoever.
Customer service was open to conversations and short-term meetings.

The difficult parts:
The process was chaotic, there was quite a lot of proactive communication and chasing involved from my side. At some point it took a week to hear back from the company. This along with mistakes such as sending the wrong sample product and not seeing the payment I had made already led to a lot of time pressure. I had been assured that the products would arrive on time but the amount of mistakes used up more than the buffer I had calculated.

In the end, the final products were shipped to wrong addresses and I took it on myself to just pay for the new shipping myself, as I had lost confidence in the ability of merchery's administrative capabilities.

One thing that particularly bugged me during a call was that I was told there would be delays because I took one day to respond to an email, when merchery had been slow and flawed for two weeks prior. If a customer has to chase the company after getting written assurance that everything would be easily delivered and then it's the same customer that gets blamed for taking one day in comparison to the week that merchery has taken I find that unprofessional, avoidant of accountability and not customer obsessed.

I am, however, very impressed with the quality of product. In the future, if there is an order from my side I will continue to consider merchery, just with a 4 week buffer planned.
