Informative and Easy
My husband and I came away from our telephone session with Randall Billings feeling confident about the plans he helped us select. Randall patiently and clearly answered our questions and set up in minutes what would have taken us hours to accomplish.

Courtesy/Thanks
I have many health problems which contribute to slowness of mind, etc. Mr. Billings was extremely patient, knowledgeable and explained my concerns. I could not have had a superior agent to assist me in choosing an insurance policy. I have listened to many programs from MedicareSchool.com which are excellent and have provided much knowledge.
Thank you Mr. Billings. Thank you MedicareSchool.com.

Not a Consultation—Just a Scripted Exit
This was not a consultation—it was a rushed, one-size-fits-all info dump. The rep made a single plan recommendation without asking about my medications, then abruptly said he had another appointment. No follow-up email, no personalization, no care. Do you think I’m stupid? I signed up for a better plan myself that same evening after visiting the official Medicare site. If you’re looking for thoughtful guidance, look elsewhere. This felt more like a sales quota checkpoint than a genuine conversation.

Terrible experience and I didn't even get to hear their advice!
Wow. Gaslighting. Narcissism. And a guy who couldn't form sentences. Hello, Medicare School. I listened to their YouTube videos. I saw a bunch of 5 star reviews and neglected to see the 1 star reviews. The truth is in the averaging of those 1 star reviews! Always. And the biggest "tell" is the smarmy corporate responses on Google. Read those and that tells you what I'm about to write. Those "replies" and corporate talk with a heavy dose of gaslighting is what I got in the agent. That's Medicare School's training.
Here's my story... I called this past weekend. Got through the voice prompts. Got a first available appointment for today at 12:45pm with Stephen Swanson. From listening to the videos sent I expected a possible delay. I got two. "I'm running a "little" behind... 10-15 minutes." Okay. Then the same message sent again. Then at 20 minutes after (not that big of deal) Stephen calls, but Verizon blocks the number as "SPAM". So, I listen to his voice mail which was VERY CONFUSING!!
Stephen says that he's taking my appointment for an Andrew Forester. Huh. Who is Andrew? I have no idea. (Meanwhile I'm getting texts that I can reschedule.)
I call the number Stephen leaves. It goes to a guy who can't form sentences and using very casual language that's unprofessional (whoa, dude, man). I'm female. The guy has no idea what's happening. I think he's using.
I call another Medicare School number. Finally Stephen Swanson calls me.
-He wouldn't stop talking. I actually several times said, "I'll be quiet so you can talk." He never got it the hint. Entitled.
-He kept HARPING that he was ONLY 20 minutes late. I never complained about that.
-I asked who Andrew was. He said he was covering for Andrew. After several prompts by me he said Andrew quit in June. This is October. I called in October.
-Then Stephen gaslit me with "WHY are we talking about Andrew? Do you want a call with me or not?? This is my time! Do you want to solve your puzzle or do you want advice?" Holy cow. Wow. Marvin's agent lost his cool. Hey, Stephen...Andrew is relevant because if you are so confused and don't know who I am then how on earth do I have confidence you have the smarts to guide me??
-Stephen repeated variations of this theme 3 more times. Then I said, "No, I don't want to work with you. You are not a good fit for me." He said, "FINE" like a toddler. He then made an appointment for me for tomorrow.
-Then he emails me 30 minutes later LOL and says, "Why did you cancel the appt.?!" I didn't cancel it. I was busy writing this review.
-Stephen didn't take the breakup well. Now he wants me to reschedule with HIM! LOL. He's like a boyfriend that won't take no. Stephen, accept the no and move on. It's called a boundary.
-Marvin puts out good advice but 100 other agents can't be Marvin. I'll shop local, thank you.

Truly the Best Professional and Fiduciary Company.
Just signed up for Medicare with Zeb Persson. Simply the BEST of the experience. Very knowledgeable and totally unbiased Professional. Despite being the busiest time of the year for him, he never made feel that. I wished I would have known about Marvin Musick's MedcareSchool.com long time ago.

Proceed With Caution
My Primary Care Doctor dropped Aetna so I needed help changing to a plan which the doctor accepts. Randall transferred me to Humana and he assured me before signing up with the new insurance company that he had checked and all of my doctor's, including specialists, acceptedHumana. He took care of the application and the change was automatic within a week. Unfortunately he did not do his homework very well . My doctor informed me when I sent them the new insurance info that she does not accept the Humana Advantage program. Randall also said that my prescription coverage would remain the same . With Aetna I had zero copays on my generic prescriptions. But Humana does have copays of as much as $25 each on the meds that Randall said were zero copays. Humana told me I can continue to see my primary care physician but only if I pay $45 per appointment. This is not what I was expecting . This is not what I was sold. I was sold a pack of lies.

Great experience w/Randall atMedicare School
Just finished signing up for our Medicare policies with Randall's help. He patiently spent time with us over several phone calls to nail down solutions to unique issues and look at things from all sides. We can't begin to explain the stress relief he provided for us with his patient review of our questions around items that don't occur in 'usual' policy setup. He is/was amazing. Thank you, Randall!

Good advice but
I used the Medicare School to seek assistance. The first few conversations were great. Set me up nicely. But then I never heard from them again, even three years later. That was disappointing.
