Ordered varnish on Thursday afternoon it was delivered before 8 am , excellent service ,will definitely use this company again, highly recommend

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt this was a time I had to. Regina at thePMD Blackpool store is absolutely incredible when it comes to paint consultations. Her knowledge and experience are truly unmatched, and she’s a real asset to the company! I've gotten all my paints from her, and I've already sent 10 of my friends her way, all of whom have raved about her excellent service. I highly recommend visiting her for any paint advice!

Visited Rathfarnham store - Melvin was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and patient. He really made me feel I was making an informed decision. I ordered some Osmo wood stain with him over the phone which arrived the next day from Blanchardstown which I was very impressed with. I subsequently had to order two more tins - Aidan arrived the next morning with one as there was a mistake made in what he was given, I couldn’t believe it when he arrived with a big smile and another tin a couple of hours later! Incredibly good service both instore and from Aidan, the wonderful delivery driver.

Recently met with Jules in the Tralee store, my god what a gem of a lady. So kind patient & friendly, has a great way with customers & full of knowledge. Will definitely be back to Jules in the future.

I visited the Pat McDonnell store in Limerick recently, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The sales assistant, Niall, was so helpful, he spent over 30 minutes explaining the products and how to use them when I got home. I will be back for more.

I want to say a “big thank you “ to Jules in the Tralee store. Most helpful and brilliant at her job. No task is too much for her and she possess a very pleasant personality.

Made an order for some osmo oil at 10pm 24th receives delivery at 9am the following morning would highly recommend thanks again *****

I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the staff at Pat Mc Donnell Paints at Commons Road Cork. I am dealing specifically with Regina the colour consultant. Her advice and expertise is second to none. She has been so helpful to me over the last few weeks choosing colours for my home. Indeed while I have been in and out of the store I have found all members of the team here to be very friendly, helpful and courteous. Thank you all and keep up the great work. I am a very satisfied customer.

I visited the Athlone store today and wanted some help choosing colours for my kitchen. Sinéad was incredibly helpful and really listened to what I was looking for. I was really happy with my experience. I have used the store many times to buy paint etc and have always found the staff polite and helpful.

Ordered two buckets of Dulux paint on their website, the price was the cheapest I found, and the delivery was very fast, so definitely recommend this company!

i visited the store at Centre Park road this morning trying to source a particular colour which was proving difficult.
I had the good fortune to meet with Edel who could not have been more helpful and kind. having explained what i needed she within a few minutes returned with a colour of which i took a sample . it was a perfect match, exactly what we had given up hope of finding.
I have dealt with Edel in the past and her helpfulness and willingness to solve a search is exceptional.
it is a pleasure to do business at this store everyone is positive, patient and helpful.

A great customer experience with their store in Limerick. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was dealing with a high pigmented paint and their advice was invaluable. And... they deliver. The staff, Daniel in particular, could not be more accommodating. I would highly recommend this company for anything to do with paint etc.

This place is a treasure for everything for the painter/decorator,even novices like myself. The real treasure though, is the staff who are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, in particular Jamie who looked after me today with the patience and humour of a Saint! Ordered paint and it arrived at my door a few hours later by Aidan who was brilliant. Love local businesses.

Totally disappointed in advice,I was told that the mixed paint I was sold it will be enough for room 5 ltr, I explained that the room is big and they kept saying that it was enough 5 ltr for 85.00 euros but it wasnt enough i had to go back and ordered another 2.5 ltr for 60.00 euro I was shocked with the price I went the following day to check if I was charged right and I was told those are the prices with no satisfaction i told him this is riducuilos he didnt even bother and we open the lid there wasn't 2.5 lts is was only 2 I will never shop here again. My money and time were wasted, I might as well have just gone to regular shop, maybe that's why the shop it was empty no customer service at all
