I purchased laminate flooring with Factory Carpets. From the first time I stepped into the place, I felt the staff were unhelpful. The flooring was not put down correctly and needed to be redone twice. The customer service was extremely poor as I needed to keep chasing them to try and get someone to come out and fix the flooring that they had not fitted correctly. There was never even an apology for the shocking service and I would never recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

I have to share what an amazing job the Kinsale Road floor fitters & carpet fitter did for me over the last few days. Tony & Gary laid the flooring, fantastic job, a pleasure to deal with, nothing was a problem. I highly recommend them. Thanks lads.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just got the keys to our new home and was so excited to get the flooring done. Booked in with factory carpet Ballincollig as I could buy all the supplies and get it fitted in the same place. While the flooring itself put down was adequate the workmanship was something else. The first thing that happened what a load of holes in the ceiling downstairs from the hammering but that was expected, what wasn’t expected was the massive hole they left in the corner of my bedroom from shoving 2 skirting boards back onto the wall, frames of the doors were left loose or put back on wrong so doors wouldn’t close and the worst part is the carpet, we got that lovely design where you have carpet and then wood over the steps. The way this way done was they took small cut outs of carpet and then places the wooden floorboards over it glued down without pinning the carpet. So not only did we pay for double the carpet we needed as they only used cut outs, because they didn’t pin them down within a day or 2 of the carpet being in it started to come away from the step and now it continues to happen to the steps, some of the boards on the stairs are loose, they put sealant in where they had massive gaps on one side and then no sealant in other places and completely rough cut the boards as well. And to top all this off they charged us an extra €100 for the privilege which I had to ring up to get back prior to me seeing all the issues with the flooring and house. My advice ADVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Awful service at Factory Carpets Cork - Ballincollig. Ordered carpet and headboard - carpet fitted, but no sign of headboard. This continued with numerous calls on my behalf and still no sign. They couldn't give a reason why and re-ordered, only to wait another 2 weeks. Then they told me when I didn't received for the second time that they didn't have the material I wanted. They offered a different board and material, or re-order in different material. I just wanted my money back at this stage, but was given the run around on this too, and didn't receive for a few days. I only got the docket for the carpet 2 months later after a few more phone calls. I would recommend to stay away from this outlet, as the worst experience I have had as a customer ever. If I could give minus stars I would - staff never rang back when they said they would, and couldn't care less attitude every time. I purchased a headboard on-line which was delivered within a week and a day from Wayfair, and that had to come from the UK.
