My company experienced some financial shortfalls and 1 payement went overdue by just 3 days before the agressive default notice letters started. I called on the day the payment failed and was talked over constantly by Lisa, telling me its not overdue yet and was totally unhelpful. Upset at not being listened to, I emailed both collections and customer services and was completely ignored for the next 10 days until I called again. Another member of staff with a similar attitude, unhelpful and rude "not my problem" type, young male this time. Gave no solutions and in desperation to get as far away from this company as possible I suggested they collect the vehicle. Never in my life have I experienced such an unprofessional and rude company.

Called up and person over the phone wasn’t very helpful. I also got written communication from someone else advising the opposite to what I was advised on the phone. Cancelled contract 1 day after signing details and 2 weeks later I’m still waiting on confirmation that it’s cancelled

I am beyond appalled at this company.
After settling the account in 2024 with Mann Island, I recently discovered they have placed a default/repossession marker on my credit file.
I have sent in a complaint and been trying for over a week to speak to the complaints team. Apparently this team cannot be reached on the telephone and must ring the customer. I ring up daily and after 15-20 minutes waiting am told the complaints team will call me back within 48 hours.
Needless to say, no phone call still just a standard acknowledgement letter saying my complaint may not be dealt with until December, but they will let me know.
Meanwhile I am unable to get finance despite never missing a payment in my life.
Do not engage with this company. If this has happened to me it can happen to anyone. Mann Islands complaints team will not speak to you or help to resolve any issues.
