Before I ordered I emailed to ask if it was boxed so I could wrap it and to make sure it wasn’t just scrolled up, I was quickly replied to stating that yes it comes in a box to make it great for wrapping however it wasn’t, it arrived in a tube

I emailed and asked why, apologies were made and I asked for a presentation box to be posted to me and I could pop it in there but for some reason this request can’t be done, don’t know why a box can’t be posted out but hey ho they offered me 10% discount instead

Can’t open it to see the quality as scared I won’t get it back in the tube so 🤞it’s good but very upset that even though I pre asked I wasn’t sent what I thought I was getting

SO disappointing a product, and the owner does not respond. They do not accept returns, so be very careful, however this is completely illegal so not sure how they get away with it. Do not trust the delivery dates on the product page. Quality is poor, canvas frame is very shallow thin balsa. They fob you off on emails until they just ignore you. There is no return address, but you can email the owner's (Bill Abbot) company website Dancing Data. It's a CRO company, so results for Malin and Mizen must be amazing with 0 returns! Avoid if you're considering buying for Christmas presents, my gift was not received well by recipient who pointed out errors, and it was late. It stated a Sunday delivery if I ordered by midnight, and I received it 4 days after due date. Carmela, if this person isn't Bill using a pseudonym states there is no physical space for returns as everything is made to order, which is completely untrue as there is a product counter on every product page. I even offered to pay for my own postage fee.

TERRIBLE customer service. I live in mainland UK and despite the website saying free UK delivery I was contacted by DHL to say I owed £39.99 before they would deliver the picture. After many emails to their non existent customer service Malin and Mitzen agreed to cover the duty tax.
Picture was then delivered damaged in 2 areas. As per guarantee on their website to replace/refund any damaged items, I sent pictures and they issued a PART refund. I am still owed the duty tax. I have sent over 20 emails, all to be told that Bill, the business owner, is the only person who can process a refund and he's either on holiday or "super busy!!"
I have now had to wait for the permitted time before trying to reclaim the money via my credit card.
Other people should know how difficult this company is to deal with hence the negative review. They have had plenty of time to try and make things right for the customer and have chose not to.

Ordered map over a month ago, keep getting excuses of why it hasn't arrived yet - lost by courier, should arrive next week, should arrive tomorrow etc etc.

After 2 weeks, they gave me a discount, but now it still has not been received and they refuse to issue me a credit.

Will have to go through my credit card now.

Don't trust them.

And lots of them. Bought the California map and it was useless. Obviously I’m not using this for directions or anything but when I pointed out all of the mismarked locations and fabricated ones, they said that a the map was designed to “inspire” and not be accurate. Wouldn’t let me return it. Malin & Mizen, California is a real place and there are real surf breaks that are easy for you to find. If I wanted something inspirational, I would order a map of Hogwarts.
