Money back guarantee is a lie.

DPD left a package in an empty shed down the road 2 houses away but marked the delivery as received in person by me. The package was stolen before I found out where they had left it. DPD admitted it hadn't been delivered as the GPS info showed it was not left at my property.

But... DPD customer service refused to give me any official info as I am not their customer, the ebay seller is. The ebay seller refused to assist except to confirm DPD had not delivered the item and had lied about the delivery.

Ebay customer support, despite notes in the ebay order from the seller, confirming the driver had lied, had not delivered the package to me and a photo showing the package in the garden shed of an empty property decided the case in favour of the seller.

So I am left in the situation I've lost 87 pounds due to liars at DPD and ebay customer service think that's just fine.

After 22 years using ebay and tens of thousands of pounds of orders I just deleted my ebay account. I do not appreciate businesses promoting guarantees that they later refuse to stand by and will not be back. Convinced 3 friends and 2 family members to do the same and will continue to inform others of your dishonest behaviour whenever the opportunity arises.

Absolutely useless trying to contact these people, did a chat with someone what he suggested was what I had already tried . Not receiving security codes to change my password .He sent me a link which again tried to send me a security code which never arrived. Have tried the chat again but that is now not available. Just being sent round and round and they have no phone numbers to try to get help

I want to give Ebay better review because they sorted it finally and I would like to givbe ebay 5 stars and 4 is maximum due to those previous problems Thank you ebay

Bad place to sell. All payments put on hold takes weeks to get paid. I have had account 10 years sold hundreds of items with 100% feedback. It says I’m new to selling so my payments will be held. New to sell? 10 years with 100 % feedback from hundreds of items?

Fee increases year on year...customer service decline year on year! :(

are you a buyer on ebay uk then be very careful as you know selling fake goods is illegal in the uk yet ebay are closing there eyes i have reported 3 sellers for selling fake silver and you receive stainless steel dog chains with tags saying s925 ebays answer is we will check but the seller has sold another 100 before they are stoped check your silver jewellery

I have recently complained to Ebay about a seller savage10 I am not sure if the seller is legitimate or not as it seems I have ordered from them twice and the order was cancelled t reason for cancelling they are selling items at two prices one is 13.95 and the other is 3.65 same item but when I buy the cheaper one they say there's a probelm and cancel my order so my advise is stay away from this seller Savage10 as I am disappointed that eBay let's this happen I think they need to make there sellers honour there orders

Zero customer support from ebay uk. I am not surprised after seeing Trustpilot reviews. What are we supposed to do when we cannot get through to ebay?!!!!!!

Worst customer service ever. My account is blocked for 7 months and no one has ever replied to my emails. When I try to use the live chat they simply tell me someone will reach out in 48h, and then no one does.

I have been a Business User on eBay for over 15years. During that time I have reported hacked accounts used by scam Sellers many many times. Each time eBay do nothing to remove these scam listings.
At the time of writing a Hacked Seller account selling 1799 high value items is still active and adding more listings over a week after I reported multiple scam listings by this user!
This has happened at least 5-6times in the last year alone.
(Ironically if you report it as a 'Seller trying to bypass eBay selling fees' they act within 24hrs!)

A-holes the people behind customer service. Been scammed on a infant car seat, it was sent to me in a filthy and broken unsafe condition. eBay doesn’t give a toss so will be reporting both the seller and eBay to the DVSA for selling broken vehicle accessories. Chew on that you bell ends.

I been as a customer over 10 years. Last time purchased on site the item, it never been delivered. Of the reason seller opened the case, ebay by the final decision rejected the refund request. So I have been ripped off, no cash return no Item.
The Royal Mail is very unreliable when it comes to deliveries. They marking item as delivered without any proof of it. It happens regularly.

bought two items which was recorded by seller as delivered but was not delivered got cctv rise a case with customer they are on seller side and closed the case not a happy customer

I have this account since 10 years! I buy and sell. I have met this gaspode69 (Mr Harcourt) from UK. A very bad seller. He sold me a watch (Vostok Kommandirskie)
-He sold me an item for 2.5x the price, and I bought it thinking to make a good deal.
-he illegally reported the wrong value of the package to the Danish custom (I have evidences and photos). The value of the package was 121 GBP and he reported 50. There is a possibility of a high fine up to 65000€ if I do this often and all his fault!!!
-he failed to report the IOSS VAT number on the package, and even lied saying he did.
-he denied assistance with Royal Mail for the double VAT I had to pay! And told me it was my job.
-he wrote very arrogant words toward me when I tried to show him the mistake he did, and said I was very arrogant
-stopped to reply.
You can check all messages we have sent each other and you can see what happened.
And you guys on ebay:
-canceled my bad feedback toward him!!!! This is a serious matter.
-And you invent reasons why not to pay back the VAT to me! I have already sent to you evidences of double VAT and you still do not provide me with help. Just words….
-treated to close my account because of extortion.
BASICALLY YOU EXTORT MY MONEY, THE SELLER DOES NOT DO HIS JOB, I PAY DOUBLE VAT, AND I GET ACCUSED OF EXTORTION!!!! Do you realize how serious are this accusations?

I find all this extremely disgusting!

I have no other choice than report your behave to the government entity that monitor extra EU traffic and hopefully they do something so you stop being so disrespectful.

I will delete my account after the last item I bought will arrive. I am really really disgusted!!!

Bad experience no happy customer, scam company saller the item not working and have different pictures quality, waiting from July the product replacement, no service assistance just take the money !!

Ebay could be really good but they allow 1,000s of scams every day and won't take the necessary action to protect their customers from them.

If I could offer no stars I certainly would.
Purchased several times with a company call MegCookiecutters which trade under the disguise of 3dprintingmegcookiecutters on eBay.
Two orders arrived but the third did not. They pretended it had and provided a strange signed tracking.
Opened a case which eBay almost immediately closed with no way to reopen. I provided feedback which eBay didn’t then allow to be shown which again misleads buyers as negative feedback isn’t advertised or adjusts the review rating.
Buyers don’t buy from Megcookiecutters or the disguised trading name. You won’t receive either the items you paid for or any help from eBay.

Do not use this awful platform if you are a seller. If you are a low volume seller, competitors can purchase your goods and leave your negative reviews. This will almost 100% take you out the market as you can no longer advertise. Ebay are a joke
