I bought a Lux skin mask and used it for the minimum time (15 minutes) each time. My face has been an absolute mess since with breakouts of acne and some very dry patches with my skin peeling off. I have sent messages and I have received replies advising me but the advice didn't make any difference. I am very disappointed with this product. I was also, like many others shocked at the cost of postage added onto the price of the mask.

I ordered the face sculpting tool. After having it for about six weeks, the part of the tool that makes contact with the skin came off, smearing cement type glue on my neck. I wish I could add pictures to this review. It was lucky the device hadn’t heated up fully and I noticed the glue/ cement on my skin- otherwise it could have been a chemical burn. I have emailed Luxskin but I’m not expecting a reply given other reviews here. I had took care of the device, it didn’t get wet and was used appropriately. I liked the device while I was using it, but I won’t be asking for a replacement as I’m frightened that their products are not safe. I’ll stick to a traditional gua sha tool in the future. Avoid as you may end up with a faulty product and chemical burn if you’re unlucky.

Worst company going. Selling cheap plastic and faulty products. Then ignoring emails about returning!! Awful

This is a horrible product. I’ve been waiting for weeks to get it and it doesn’t even work. I can’t even get it to power up. No matter how long I leave it to charge it doesn’t power up and it doesn’t zap. I’ve had it charge over night and it still won’t work. What a waste.

I have purchased 3 devices from Luxskin and I love all of them! Especially my led mask and my face sculpting tool. I’ve owned my products for over a year now and they work great with no issues. Orders take awhile to receive (I believe they are out of the UK) but totally worth the wait!

I gave the customer service one star because there was no 0 star available. I purchased a lux skin hair removal IPL Laser Hair Removal product that did not work for me. I have been trying to get my "Money Back Guarantee" that they advertize. It is impossible to get your "Money Back" I have tried many times and to say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau on this. I do not recommend buying any product from this company.

Ordered the led face mask. I was charged and have not received it nor has anyone gotten back to me. I feel like I have been scammed and now I need to work with my credit card to reverse the charge.

UPDATE: 3/17. I reached out again to this company and they still have yet to respond or return my funds for a product I never received.

Customer service is truly awful and bordering on criminal. Within two days of finally receiving (took weeks to turn up) the bundle i ordered, I realised one item was broken and the other I didnt want - a value of almost £100. So initiated a return through their “contact us” system. Was sent a reply with “you’ll have 90 day return window, answer these questions and then we’ll be in touch” - I respond with the answers. And nothing. I have done this 4 times now. I am getting close to the 90 day cut off. This must be how they make their money. A complete refusal to acknowledge and accept returns. I want my money back. That was Christmas present money from my father and its just wasted sat in a box. Thieving people.

I have done what the told me to do and emailed them 3 times now and have had no reply about not receiving my chin massage machine.

Ordered the ladder luxskin hair removal for my birthday on the 8th Feb and still not received. Contacted the company via email twice but no contact back. Tracking number for Royal Mail does not exciting. Beware of this company very bad!

Be careful when purchasing from Lux Skin. I placed an order but then changed my mind less than 24h later and asked them to cancel the order.
Lux Skin are refusing to cancel my order, referring to Terms and Conditions that had not been drawn to my attention at any point prior to purchase. Those Ts and Cs say that you can only cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it! This is contrary to UK Consumer rights legislation and is really unfair.
Update: after repeated emails, I have now received a refund.

I’ve had my Lux Skin ProStyler for approx 6 months and there’s an awful noise coming from it with a burning smell. I used their online form to contact them and they asked me to send a video for proof along with my address so they could send me a replacement. Excellent!! If only!! I reply with the details and they didn’t reply. I’ve re-sent them the video multiple times and they’re now just ignoring my emails. I have asked that if they can’t replace then can they at least refund me so I can buy the product somewhere else as it was a present for my aunty!!!! Again, I’ve just been ignored!

AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN!!!

Got this product this week. Used it for the first time after shaving legs, arms etc. Level 4 on my legs, level 2 on my arms. Legs weren’t too bad but arms were a little painful. I have tattoos on my arms also. Afterwards I had a shower and my arms and legs were stinging quite badly in the shower. Just a warning for others or people with a lot of tattoos. Also quite time consuming. Will give another review with results in a few weeks.

My granddaughter asked me if I would like to buy her the LED mask for her birthday. I wanted to check it out first, as I hadn't come across them before. I wrote to the company via their contact form requesting safety data and to date - one week later- have no reply. I doubt I will ever receive one. It means I will not purchase from this company, who do not have a phone line for customer services either, which is not in my experience, a good indicator of company reliability or responsiveness either.

My experience with Lux Skin has been honestly a bit of everything … great and some bad… I did order the led masks .. I did receive my products… took a bit but they did arrive.. I found communication with them to be mostly good … was via emails as they do not have a phone number to use… but with that being said … I must say they do reply in a timely matter … email is acknowledged and then shortly thereafter, addressed. My experience with them was definitely at times pretty stressful … I did lose my patience with them .. they never lost theirs with me. For that I am sorry … overall, they did hold up their end of our dealings. I would do business with them again in the future.

I ordered on January 18 2024 and it arrived January 31 2024. Upon ordering I got a thank you for your order email. My visa held the charge til I got the shipping email. Once I saw that it was shipped with Canada Post (being in 🇨🇦) I was relieved as I was unsure if it was a scam but wanted to dice roll as I’ve had my eye on a LED Face Mask. Tracking kept updating and it’s arrived. Can’t wait to test it out.

I ordered the Face and Neck Sculptor. It arrived relatively quickly but it never turned on. The green lights shows it is fully charged, but it doesn't outright work. I reached out to customer service and never heard back. So, now I have a non-working product and no customer service response regarding a return. Terrible experience.
