Luxreaders is a Danish company with roots in Copenhagen. The company is founded with the ambition to digitize the purchase of reading glasses and end up with the notion that reading glasses is a necessary evil that must be boringly designed and poor in quality. Therefore, we have done our utmost to produce some reading glasses, where both design and quality are top notch while they are still affordable. We’ve many years of experience from the optical industry and have therefore closely monitored how the market for reading glasses is largely driven by gas stations, supermarkets and the like. These businesses focus to a large extent on low prices, high margins and preferably a high frequency of repurchases when customers' vision has to be corrected. The result is bad and ugly reading glasses in poor quality. We want to change that! Excellent products.
Fast delivery and as Luxreaders used Royal Mail the postman handed the parcels to me. They weren’t left in the rain or thrown at the front door. I purchased a number of pairs of both reading and sunglasses as the quality is excellent; styles and price is compelling!

Ordered a pair of blue light glasses
Ordered a pair of blue light glasses. Wasn’t 100% happy as they were slightly wonky. I emailed to express my concern and early the next morning I had a very fast response. Very understanding and fixed the issue immediately with no questions. The glasses are high quality and work really well too! There was a bit of a hiccup with the first pair of glasses (which is likely to happen with glasses as they are so fragile) but customer service, packaging of the glasses and the quality of the glasses over rule that! Would highly recommend! Thank you !

Return postage not good!
I bought two pairs of glasses, one pair was ok and the other wasn’t so I sent them back. Hmmm, return postage is only free if you use their label which has no tracking and no assurance that you have sent them. So as these glasses were £50, I paid for postage. £13.50! Well that was an expensive lesson in buying from Lux!

Our return label is an international accepted return label but it is a relatively new label. Unfortunately, not all parcel shops or post offices are familiar with this new type of return label. As stated on our website, we offer a Letter of Guarantee if there should be any issue when returning. If you aren't given a receipt when returning at the post office, a picture of the parcel when returning is also valid as proof of postage.

Great Experience Had.
Been looking for some readers that stand out and I think I found them. I’m not usually a glasses wearer but I feel at ease wearing my new ones. Dare I say I look cool :-)
Easy to navigate website, you can try the glasses with a camera too. That stood out to me as the site worked so simply for that. After choosing the glasses the rest was seamless. Excellent so far!
I am very pleased with my purchase of 3 pairs of reading glasses. I have tried other 'premium' offerings and have found them lacking. Normally the lenses mark very easily or coatings start to wear off within just a few weeks.
So far I have found Luxreaders to be well made with exceptional clarity of lenses.
The delivery was quick and efficient too!
