Service received by Loot has been disappointing.
In December we bought a Defy oven/stove from Loot. It was supposed to be delivered on the 13th but we received it on Christmas Eve. As a result we were only able to get it connected in the 2nd week in January. It was faulty from the start. Loot sent out technicians just before the lockdown and they adjusted the thermostat. This didn't solve the problem. Once lockdown reached level 3 they came out again and replaced the thermostat and we were back to square one with the same problem we had at the beginning. Clearly it's the thermo fan that is faulty and not the thermostat! We then emailed them again! (They don't take phone calls) They replied several days later saying they would sent someone out again. That was a month ago and we're still waiting! I have a baking business and can no longer cope with the frustration of having to bake cakes in a faulty oven. After 7 months they need to exchange the oven for a new one or refund us.
No order and no communication
Placed an order on 21st June 2020 for a baby shower gift 🎁 having ample time for delivery, its now the 25th July 2020 baby is born and still no delivery....seriously disappointed. Now to try get a refund out of loot.
1st order, never again.
Been with TAL for 5 years, but Loot had the product we wanted, so we gave it a bash. The product required a usb3.0 to work effectively, which our laptop doesn't have, only a black SS port, but we tried anyway, to disappointing results. R50 to return the product PLUS a forfeit of 15% of the value, as the box had been opened [really? How do you test a product then?]. NEVER AGAIN. Opted to rather sell on E-bay in US$ with a small profit. Once bitten, twice shy!

Worst possible service...it took a month for them to deliver a parcel. They say things are on stock when they aren't. Would not recommend it to anyone !!!!

Wish I had read these reviews before buying form loot. There are many other businesses that I'd rather support. I purchased two items from them at more expensive rates based on the delivery time they stipulated. Now they keep on postponing delivery. Won't consider buying from them in future.
Dangerous delivery
Dangerous delivery, driver had no PPE and a grubby pen used by many was offered to sign delivery note. No safety procedures during a pandemic
Loots a complete joke
All i can say is stay away from ordering through loots endless issues no responses until you make a fuss on there facebook and then they come up with all the excuses and decide to cancel after 60 days of waiting for the order.
They are delaying all orders and gaining off the the interest off the capitol on there interest bearing accounts.

i purchased a Bosch washing machine…
i purchased a Bosch washing machine from loot.co.za. the machine that was delivered was silver and not white as i believed the product was. Loot then confirmed that they would have the machine swopped out for a white machine. a week or two later i was then told sorry no white machines available and loot would collect the machine and refund me in full. after much harassment i finally got loot to collect the machine on the 30th of Jan - a month later than they had committed to collect the machine. i am still waiting for my refund hope it won't be another month until i get my refund - they really do know how to LOOT!
Excellent service
Bought a robotic vacuum from them almost a year ago, received the item in a very good working condition and in less than a week. After almost a year i started having problems with the machine, i then came into contact with loot and they sent a courier to pick up the item, after a week they confirmed that they would not be able to repair or replace the item and i got a full refund from them. Very friendly staff, very helpfull. Keep it up!!! Will keep on supporting them and i recommend them to anybody.
Loot is an absolute Joke
Loot is an absolute Joke, the order was placed on 22/12/19 today is 17/01/20 and they are still unable to advise of eta or provide resolution. I have never in my life seen such incompetence almost a month and they are still unable to sort out a simple order. their social media team claims there is an issue with the suppliers courier service, surely at this point loot should arrange to collect the item from the supplier in order to honour their commitment to the client? its really not that hard or complicated. the order was meant to be dispatched on 03/01/20 its now 14 days later and they are still not able to give any form of commitment in terms of eta or resolution this is insane

I placed an order on the 29th on November 2019 for items, I am still waiting for my items, I off the items is important to my business ( I had to buy it somewhere else , I have tried in vain to contact them in regards to this, but no response VIA email, and calling them is not a plan, and to think I was about to buy a Generator from them that is over R 20 000. I have change my mind on this…!!! Now the Problem is this Tuesday I am leaving for My Holiday Destination. And will return only after the 2nd of January 2020.. LOOT THIS IS BAD BUSINESS 100% over

Terrible customer service department who respond with sarcasm when orders are delayed.

The customer service is terrible
The customer service is terrible. There was a delay with the supplier of my item and it was only due to come 2 weeks after the expected delivery date and they don't try to make up for any inconvenience. And dealing with the customer service team is annoying because they don't acknowledge any thing you say. I had expected to be able to collect the item which I was requiring urgently but since they delay of 2 weeks I wouldn't be able to collect it and the process of changing shipping method is a nightmare and I will still have to wait up to 3 days after it has been dispatched because they to stingy to offer me free priority delivery to make up for the inconvenience caused. Its not like it would have caused them to make a loss but now they will be losing out cause i will make sure that anyone wanting to use loot rethinks their decision. Don't bother buying from loot
Terrible after sales service
Terrible after sales service. Very difficult to find how to get a return done and takes a long time for the process to get going. Not to mention the item I received as brand new was received damaged.
