I recently had laser eye treatment and wanted to share my full experience—from booking right through to aftercare—because it genuinely exceeded my expectations.

From the very first enquiry, the booking process was smooth and reassuring. The clinic staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. Scheduling my consultation was easy, and I received clear instructions ahead of time about what to expect. During my assessment, the optometrist took the time to explain the different treatment options, walked me through the scans in detail, and answered every question I had. I never felt rushed, and that gave me a lot of confidence moving forward.
On the day of the procedure, everything ran on time and was extremely well organized. The surgical team made me feel calm and comfortable throughout. The laser treatment itself was much quicker than I anticipated—just a few minutes per eye—and completely painless. The surgeon talked me through each step, which really helped ease any nerves.
After the procedure, my vision was already noticeably clearer, even though it was slightly hazy at first (as they had explained it would be). I was given thorough aftercare instructions, eye drops, and a clear recovery plan before leaving. What really stood out was the level of follow-up care. I had regular check-ins to monitor my healing, and the team was always available if I had questions or concerns.
The aftercare appointments were just as professional and reassuring as the initial consultation. My recovery went exactly as outlined, and within a short time, I was enjoying crisp, clear vision without glasses or contact lenses.

Really fantastic experience throughout. The clinic itself is very clean and comfortable, the staff are incredibly quick to respond and are very helpful and kind - which is so important given that eye surgery and corrections can be so incredibly daunting. The surgeons and opthamologists are also very kind and reassuring, and my surgery itself was incredibly quick and comfortable. Follow up appointments were arranged with no delay and I was always seen quickly. The aftercare given was also really good and greatly helped my recovery. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I got quotes in different places for laser eye surgery and I realised it’s all about the after care. I’ve had my eye surgery a month ago and the after care has been AMAZING. I have access to the clinic in hours, after hours telephone, and my surgeons direct details.

Even more, for my one month check up I was seen by Brendan who said everything was better than expected for my recovery. I loved the fact that my surgeon Professor Dan Reinstein checked the results and texted me that all is well.
Meghan is my coordinator and her response time and knowledge has been so seamlessly. She posted me extra eye drops in the post instantly.

I am recommending this clinic to everyone due to the quality of the technology, the success of the surgery, and the amazing aftercare.

Fantastic treatment throughout, couldn’t recommend enough. Everything was so diligently done, all the staff were extremely kind and helpful!

The incredibly high level of customer service right from the initial phone call has been fantastic. I always felt I could contact my patient co-ordinator, Kate, and she would make time to talk through my initial concerns about having blended laser surgery. My optometrist, Amir was very thorough, easy to talk and put my mind at ease with all my questions. Mr Carp was amazing! I am truly grateful to him for being so calm and laid back - it really helped me on the day of surgery and immediately afterwards. Finally, the rest of the team on the day of my surgery and the entire reception team on follow-up appointments have been super professional and approachable. Thank you!

My experience with the entire London vision clinic has been fantastic! All the staff have been lovely and the whole treatment has been a breeze. Deon the first consultation to the regular check up appointments the team are thorough and caring making sure you're comfortable every step of the way. I had their revolutionary SMILE laser eye surgery and the actual surgery was completely painless and over soo quickly, I barely felt a thing. Within 3 hours I was able to start opening my eyes and I could see without glasses! It was really that simple. The surgery has been one of the best things I've done in life and has given me the freedom away from glasses. The team is great with the care they provide, everything that you need in the lead up, on the day and after is all included which give you the peace of mind and the regular check ups after the surgery ensure that you're on track and if anything needs correcting or enhancing the team is on hand to help.
