It was very easy to book. The engineer came on time and was efficient and did the job with minimum fuss and gave advice. Did not encourage me to go with the more expensive option but worked hard to clear a drain.

London Drains Direct provided a quick, professional service I would highly recommend them. I called due to a blockage and the office informed me that their engineer Joe was in my area and would head my way immediately. He arrived within the hour and carried out a cctv survey and quickly identified a blockage which was cleared. Very happy to pay the price quoted for a 2 hour turn around and I received the pdf report and the video surveillance the following day. I would highly recommend them.

I had London Drains Direct come to my house to sort a problems with my kitchen drain. They were very clean and tidy and sorted the problem in no time at all. I would not hesitate to use the agin.

I contacted the above company regarding an issue I had with my kitchen drains, slow draining and a unpleasant smell. After a brief description of the problem I was quoted a reasonable price and given a time slot for the job.
The engineers arrived in a timely manner and the job was done quite quickly and efficiently. No messing around to make the job seem larger than it actually was and the price I paid was the price I was quoted. No hidden fees and all that nonsense.
The engineers were friendly young lads too. Would recommend.

Very difficult job with a major blockage that was handled very professionally. They arrived on time, with the right equipment, and kept going until it was fixed. Would recommend

I requested a CCTV survey to be performed in order to assist in selling my property which was £180+VAT. The engineer arrived within the same day and the time window specified and began to start the CCTV survey however the condition of the drains did not allow the engineer to proceed.

The engineer informed me that it would be £120+VAT to clear the drain and proceed with the survey, and I would not be billed if I did not wish to proceed. I inspected the condition of the drains and agreed that it was necessary to clear, which was performed within 20 minutes. The survey was then conducted within the hour and I was sent a full PDF and video report after 3 days.

The company was clear in their process and provided me financial clarity up front of which I could walk away if not required. I have used other drainage companies in the past who have billed me after the fact, and left a sour taste in my mouth. I would recommend these guys for the future, especially the engineer Ben!

Wish I had read the reviews before using these guys!

I used these guys back in July on a property we were looking at purchasing.

Upon the two engineers arrival, they informed me that due to the state of the drains that they would need a clean. The house was in a poor condition, and even with no 'drains knowledge' I could see they needed cleaning to get access. They explained this would be £120+VAT, I agreed to this, primarily because they said it would take between 30-60 minutes, and given there were two engineers I could justify the cost somewhat.

The surveyors then completed the clean in I would estimate under 5 minutes (at an absolute maximum!). I appreciate there are costs, timing and training associated with doing this (hence why when I was told it would be an hour I could understand this), however to pay £120+VAT for quite literally a few minutes of cleaning seems somewhat extortionate in my eyes.

They then continued to complete the CCTV survey as planned, and all in all were with me for 25 minutes maximum to complete the whole job (inc the cleaning).

I have absolutely no issue in paying the full CCTV survey cost as I appreciate the time and effort it takes to complete the work and then compile the comprehensive report, however paying £144 for <5 minutes cleaning leaves a sour taste.

I did receive the report in the end, however for these reasons will absolutely not be using London Drains for the expensive repair work that is required.

when we asked for price they send a link which mentioned (manual 60+vat and machine advance 120+vat)
we approach them for 60+vat for toilet blockage .
when the guy come he checks the toilet and asked me that i will bring the tools from my van he did the job in 8min when he make the bill was 120+vat instead of 60+ vat . when i asked we booked for 60+vat he starts arguing . i asked him you did not tell me after having a look at toilet that it will cost 120+vat instead of 60+vat .
when you done now you are forcing me to pay £144.00 . he was behaving very badly.he threatening me i will knock you down . i will take you to court . i said ok fine see you then in court but then he stop his van in front of my car do not let me go. i filmed every single moment of his act.
then he said ok give money £72 pound which you booked i asked so you agree he said yes
i asked him amend the invoice then i will give you £72 pound . he said first you give me money then i will give you invoice as i hand over the money he refused to give me invoice and after short a while run away.
2nd day i received the call from his company that i did not pay . when i told her that your driver took £72 pound for the job she denied that driver did not take any money from you and ask me to pay £144 .
when i told her that i have video in which he took money and agreed on £72 so then she said ok so you need to pay £72 pound more.
and this still going on...
they just trap us by mentioning 60+vat fixed price but they never ever done the job in 60+vat
they are very cleaver in this game

I had the above company today,
they are not professional, they try to clean my drain, after all the explanation I gave, they insisted on my drain is broken after 5 to 7 minute they charge me £144.
and they said that my drain is broken and can't carry the work it might break my machine!
so please check what you are getting from them, As they we will sort?
the next step was to dig cross the house till replace the drain pipe which he's not sure is is broken or not!
