I paid a few hounded as my mum had a growth on her finger all explained and they advised they would remove. Had already been diagnosed by nhs but didn’t want to wait for no timescale to remove. Sent my mum to London they said they couldn’t remove and they refused to refund me. They have now added my details onto their mailing list. If you look at the company reviews they get a lot better ratings almost 5, but on trust pilot the real comments are added. Hopefully this company that upset me and my mother and cost us time and money will stop breaching dpa and stop emailing me

Seems like a total scam.
Red flags:
1 - They reply within about 1 minute of submitting an online request
2 - The phone line is awful, with background noise sounding like the operator is moonlighting
3 - They press you for immediate appointment (have loads of availability)
4 - They refuse to answer questions on cost. Everything is 'from...'

I am SO disappointed with this clinic, Harley Street Health Care, 96 Harley Street and would NOT recommend it at all.

My daughter visited a nurse at another clinic to have a mole check and was told a couple of moles maybe serious.

We wanted to have them checked quickly and this clinic was able to do it the next day.

We saw a lovely doctor who said they might be serious and removed them surgically. The doctor did tell us she was leaving this clinic which made us slightly worried.

We were assured our daughter's results would be sped through quickly and someone would phone us with her results.

It has now been three weeks and not only have we not got the results, we are unable to get through to the clinic. We get through to a call centre in America and are told we will be called back. I have made seven calls and each time I have not been called back.

I tried calling under a different name and asked to make an appointment, I got through but still they are unable to connect me to anyone who can help me. It is very unprofessional everyone is sorry but seems like they are used to these calls.

My daughter is 23 and was told this could be a possible melanoma she is petrified and now we can't get hold of anyone at all. Each and every time we are just speaking to staff in the admin team who are not in the clinic.

The clinic was very basic and didn't feel very professional that said the doctor we saw was brilliant but made it very clear she isn't working there going forward.

We are now in touch with the clinic where the doctor has moved to but now need to track down the results. The is is most worrying as the mole cannot be removed again and we want to know what to do next.

If anyone from the clinic reads this we ask you contact us urgently, this is cruel and unkind to a young person and if nothing else call us to reassure us the results will be given soon.

I am certainly at this stage not recommending this clinic. Please clinic try and help yourself and contact me.

The initial phone call was friendly and thorough right through to my good bye after my treatment was finished , they have always answered swiftly after I paid , and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family in the future!

We saw Dr Aikaterini Charakida, who was professional and thorough. Dr Charakida dealt with my son's issues very quickly.

Yes the initial consultation is expensive and treatments costly. But you are visiting a medical establishment based in Harley Street, central London. Not having to wait months for (in this instance) cosmetic surgery - which you'd never get quickly, on the NHS. To be honest with you, for the peace of mind my son now has, it has been worth it for us. My son's confidence has skyrocketed and that is priceless.

terrible service, rude Doctor and staff , spend 90 seconds and asked for 250 pounds for a verruca consultation , I am a doctor too, my daughter was shocked about the service .. she is only 16 ..she was not allowed to speak , when was asked what she wants .. she was told everything is painful .. we were passed to someone to give us prices for excision of the verruca .. it is all about the money , please stay away. I am a GP and feel I was robbed !! Not sure how CQC allows this clinic to operate ??

Awful clinic, wish I had read the other reviews! I had the same experience as someone else on here- £175-195 per acne consultation with each lasting less than 5 minutes. My first consultation the doctor didn’t even look at me, just prescribed Roaccutane and didn’t take time to properly discuss my dose or the risks. For example, she didn’t tell me I couldn’t drink alcohol for the 8 months (can cause permanent liver damage) or explain whether it was safe given my severe peanut allergy. When I picked up the tablets the box says ‘not suitable for peanut allergy sufferers’. I made multiple calls and sent emails asking if it was safe for me to take the tablets, but the clinic took forever to get back to me. This lack of communication was dangerous and they didn’t apologise. They also made mistakes with my forms and said they had misplaced them, so I had to fill everything out again. When booking appointments via phone I spoke to different receptionists who didn’t communicate with each other and did not write down my appointments or get back to me.

I sent a complaint to the manager who spoke to me and said they had to fire a receptionist as other patients had the same issue. She didn’t offer a solution. She then said my doctor was upset with ME for my complaint and that they would have to change my consultant. This was when I was already at the clinic and had been waiting for an hour… they sent me home without my appointment because the doctor was ‘so upset’ that I had complained the appointment was only 2 minutes long. So unprofessional. The following months I had another consultant who couldn’t understand me, I had to have another member of staff explain to him what I was saying and I had to read out the ingredients of medications to him because he didn’t know what was in it. And every time I tried to make my follow up mandatory appointments, the communication was still awful, with no one answering the phone. The consultant was also late to an appointment and they kept trying to change my time- not what you expect when you have to pay that high a fee and are told you will be charged if you’re late/ cancel yourself.

Overall, I spent over £1000 and I’m really not sure what for- I’m a student who had saved up a lot for this and it’s clear the clinic doesn’t care about patient’s welfare at all… just the money. Don’t go here.

Please, don't go to this ‘clinic’

Some issues I had included:

I went for an appointment regarding my life long eczema after loosing my patience with the NHS. £175 bought me a 7 minute consultation where the dermatologist didn't even bother to glance at my skin. Her consultation method was asking a question then promptly talking over the top of you.

The clinic took 18days to send me stock-standard request for bloods and to review them.

In a subsequent appointment I had the dermatologist and clinic administration tell me in person and over the phone that I could be transferred onto a shared care plan, only to be told I was incorrect and must have heard the two employees incorrectly. I assume the owner found out and refused the a lose of revenue.

This clinic prays on your vulnerability and rinses you for whatever you have, they are exploiting the broken NHS and have no remorse or care for your wellbeing.

this company can improve by closing down and stop ripping people off

The London dermatology clinic runs like a corner shop on the back of a street in some third-world country. They advertised lipoma removal from £295. I have a lipoma less than 2 cm, and they priced me at £1200 (!!!!) for a simple lipoma removal. When I said no, they offered to remove it for £600. Just beyond belief.

This is a real genuine review . GUYS PLEASE BELIEVE ME I WOULD WISH THIS ON NO BODY , I HAVE SUFFERED FROM EXCEMA SINCE BIRTH I ARRANGED TO SEE THESE “PROFESSIONALS” and paid £250 just to walk in a room for less than 5 minutes and it was done . They recommend me tablets / injections they’re is 4 different types . I GAVE THEM MY BLOOD RESULTS AND THEN 1 WEEK AFTER THE FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH THEM THE BLOODS WAS SENT . 3 MONTHS !!! 3 MONTHS LATER THEY GOT IN CONTACT AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING TO CONTACT THEM ABOUT WHAT MEDICATION TO START SAYING I SHOULD GO AND SEE THEM AGAIN FOR A EXTRA £180!!!! JUST TO REVIEW MY BLOODS !!! EVEN THOUGH THE DOCTOR EXPLAINED I DO NOT HAVE TO GO THERE AGAIN AND ALL MEDICATION CAN BE SENT THROUGH POST AND WE CAN SPEAK ON THE PHONE . I KEPT TRYING TO RING FOR APPOINTMENT AND RECEPTIONS KEPT SAYING I MISSED AN APPOINTMENT TO GO THERE IN PERSON I TOLD THE RECEPTION THIS IS A MISTAKE AND THEY KEPT ASKING ME AGAIN AND AGAIN WHY I DIDNT GO EVEN THOUGH I SAID IT WAS MEANT TO BE PHONE CONSULTATION AFTER ALL THIS MEDICATION WAS SENT I THEN TOOK THE MEDICATION AND BECAME VERY ILL I AM NOW AWAITING FOR NEW MEDICATION TO START BUT WHEN I CALL RECEPTION THEY KEEP SAYING I MISSED THE APPOINTMENT EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM 20 TIMES IT WAS A MISTAKE FROM THEM AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE A PHONE CONSULTATION OMG HARLEY STREET MORE LIKE JAYWICK STREET TERRIBLE SERVICE THEY ACT LIKE THERE poo DONT STINK WHEN REALLY THEY ARE JUST NORMAL PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DONT CARE ABOUT OTHERS . ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

Had a friend who came to this clinic and had a great result when she had a mole removed from her face. She did however warn me about making sure about checking the pricing on before going through with the procedure. When booking over the phone, they asked for a non-refundable £50 deposit (which is not stated on their website). If you do go through with the consultation, you cannot leave until you pay £249 (which the £50 deposit is contributed to).

The entire consultation fee is wavered if you do go through with the surgery of your choosing.

I went in for a mole removal but was not given the full disclosure choices of mole removal (shaven, incision, frozen or cauterised). I was only given the choices of shaven or incision when going through the consultation with the doctor. Was then passed through to the room next door by a 'colleague' explaining different payments with either shaven or incision to me.

Their website states that all mole removal procedures start from £295 but i was quote £1399 in TOTAL!!! That's for consultation AND one mole removal!

I am aware cosmetic mole removals are expensive, however, this was for one mole on my body which is covered by clothing majority of the time but wanted the mole removed when wearing bikins etc in the summer. My friend had a mole removed on her face for £599 including consultation fee!

I asked how could they justify that price and they just responded with, 'that's how much we charge'!

When I said no thank you, they were very quick to let me go lets just say and also take my £249 for a 5-10min consultation.

BE WARNED. Please DO as much research as you can and find clinics with better reputation and transparency with not only price but procedures too. Don't be fooled just because it's on Harley Street in London, that you'll get the best service. Not at all.

I would not normally put down a review on something as significant as medical advice. However, so impressed am I with the professionalism, advice and guidance throughout my situation, as well as post-care service, I feel obliged to say that I would happily recommend Dr Iñigo de Felipe for whatever your requirements.

RUN 🏃🏽‍♀️. AVOID. I THINK THESE 5 star reviews are fake! Either that or they are too rich to realise they are being robbed.

I went to have a VERY small lipoma removed. On the website it said £295, I was told over the phone it would be £295, I get there and they want to charge me almost £900.

They can go to hell, I’m not paying £250 for a consultation, it was a sham, she told me what I already knew, that it was a lipoma. If they were honest and just removed it for that initial price I would have happily paid. I couldn’t have got out the office and down the stairs fast enough. Daylight robbery.

I’ll order a scalpel and remove the dam thing my self.

Dr Charakida, was great. Direct, honest and was able to diagnose me within 2 mins as she too had experienced the same challenge. So happy to have treatment. The lovely receptionist is called Yanha is just a gem and really sweet girl. Thank you 🙏🏽

Very good I had lipoma removed

was stress free

5 minute consultation for £250 , very keen for me to sign up and pay cash for £1.5k procedure , however , when I called back to confirm private healthcare authorisation they seem to have no interest and apparently don’t accept payments from private healthcare providers ?

Sent several follow up emails and calls to and no response.

Hence I’ve had to revert to a different clinic.

Appalling from start to finish. Went to see them about a mole. Was told it needed to be removed at a cost of £999. I challenged this as had been told on email it would be £500 and so they said 'oh ok £500' - obviously they just charge what they think they can get away with. Doctor removed mole (took less than 5 minutes), announced it was definitely borderline cancer and disappeared - no discussion with me over what might happen etc. When I finally got the biopsy results through (after a good deal of chasing) they just sent the lab report with no explanation. I read the scientific terms and thought it meant I had cancer. Fortunately forwarded to a doctor friend who said no it meant benign but would have expected the clinic to at least have included a one liner in the email to say it's ok it's benign!
