I ordered a Black Forest cake from Lola’s Cupcakes for my husband’s birthday, and honestly, it was the best Black Forest cake I’ve ever had!

Every element was absolutely perfect. The sweetness from the cherry compote paired with the slight sharpness of the mascarpone frosting balanced each other out beautifully — it wasn’t overly sweet at all, just the perfect combination of flavours. 🤤

And the sponge… WOW! So incredibly moist, soft and smooth. What impressed me even more was how well the cake held up. It still tasted absolutely delicious after three days in the fridge AND after a five-hour journey in the car boot during this heatwave! 😱☀️

It was honestly everything you want from a celebration cake — beautiful, fresh, indulgent and absolutely delicious. My husband loved it, and everyone who tried it had nothing but compliments.

They were ready, beautifully packed and so nice! We served only vegan ones with champagne for our wedding reception and they were a triumph!

I was running a few mins late and they were closing at 20:00. The lady working that day was super kind to stay a few mins later so I could collect my order.

I've ordered 2 medium cakes for my baby shower and I've picked up the order from Shoreditch. Everything was ready on time, well packed and the service was nice. I've ordered the lemon and raspberry cake and the vegan brownie cake and had personalised writing on them. I had about 30 people over and everyone loved the cakes and some went for a second round. A lot of good options to chose from online.

I had to change my collection point and Lola's made this really easy. The cake was beautifully presented and delicious.

picked up the 6 box for my sisters birthday, excellent customer service from ria.
she even let me check them on arrival to make sure it was presented & catered profesisonally.
would definately be going back for more!
only downside is the shop was quite small but service was 10.

Ordered Large vanilla rainbow birthday cake for a 6yr old..was very disappointed, cake was medium hard, no moisture. Extremely sweet, didnt go well with guests. Appearance was nice.

The cake looked really nice. However, the taste wasn't great. I bought from Lolas because usually the cupcakes taste really nice so i thought this cake will also taste just like that. But it was a disappointment. The cake was dry and very very sweet. Not child friendly. It was overly sweet.

I feel that the prices are definitely too high for what you actually get. I was a bit underwhelmed.
