Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Perfect wedding cake - shared with our guests

The worst experience, the best after-sales service
The worst experience I’ve ever experienced. Today is my birthday and the staff promised me I can pick up at 6pm. When I got here exactly 6pm, they all gone even I already paid for it, it is birthday cake!!!! How can I pick it up on other day???? I just want to refund and never go here again.
Updated: Thank you Lola’s cake team. Their response speed and problem-solving efficiency are the fastest. Appreciate it.

We are sorry to hear that your collection order was not at the store at the listed time of collection.
Collection orders that we send to our stores are checked at multiple stages, including at the shop after these orders are delivered, to best ensure we can detect any issues with orders as early as possible on the rare occasions that issues do occur.
I have tried to look through orders placed with our team through our website or through our emails if we have been contacted previously about this to assist you and sadly could not find any results for your order or issue.

Stunning cake
Stunning cake - we adapted the baby girl cake to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday as I loved the look of the cake and so did everyone else. Tasted fab too. Staff were excellent.

100% deliciousness!
As always, the cupcakes were utterly delicious! They are a perfect size and there were no complaints whatsoever! We love the idea of selecting our own favourite cupcake flavour when celebrating someone’s birthday and it’s great that you can choose vegan and gluten free varieties too. I ordered a mixed cupcake box online then collected from Westfield Stratford.

Had a horrible experience for the first…
Had a horrible experience for the first time being a consumer of Lola’s I wanted to buy a small cake and then I bought it. Nobody made it clear to me that I had a message written on it that said happy birthday the only thing that puzzled me as I walked off the girl wished me happy birthday which made me think just peek into the box and see what’s there then I realised it said happy birthday on it literally within less than two minutes I went back and I said hey, you’ve sold me a cake with a birthday message can you please tell? Sell me one without one which I was told we don’t have any plain cakes left and even if there was I can’t sell it to you because is it against health and safety but I explained you literally just sold it to me and you didn’t explain to me that the only cakes that you have left have a message it became a whole thing. The staff member was extremely rude also lied multiple times to her supervisor and customer service and I’m just really really disappointed how everything was dealt with in the end the supervisor wipe the message off and then put some sprinkles on it which that could’ve been done from the beginning but it was just made so long for absolutely no reason and as a customer, it left a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t know if I would consider coming back to here again

I am sorry the cake had a message on it which was not expected.
We do have all our cakes on display and unboxed pre-purchase so the staff member sadly might not have been aware you did were not aware of the Happy Birthday message due to this. Our cakes are sold as seen.
Due to Health and Safety we cannot take returns of cakes once they have left the store, they cannot be resold to other customers.
We will pass on your feedback to see how we can improve this in the future to ensure customer's are more aware of messages before purchase.

The cake was lovely and alternative choice to the one I originally wanted. I'd definitely buy again and that it's gluten free is real bonus for allergy sufferers.

Everything was good but the cake
Everything was good but cake was very dry m, not fresh and no trace or feel of mango other than yellow colour. First time it was good with lot taste of mango in it.
