We ordered gluten free cupcakes for valentines day and were not disappointed! Not only were the cupcakes delicious, but the service was very friendly. The online order ins super convenient. Will definitely order again!

When I placed my order there was a glitch on the system and I was unsure whether the order had been placed or not. On the day of collection I received the confirmation, but I also got a phone call to tell me I may not have received email confirmation which was great. When I got to the store pick up was quick and easy. And of course the cup cakes were delicious

Don't go to Lola's North Greenwich if it's your birthday. That's the lesson I learned today. The two women on duty at the store were surly and unhelpful. They didn't want to tell us anything about which cupcake was what flavour or indeed do anything to assist. Their default response to most things was a pursing of the lips and an unwilling few words, dragged out as if by forceps. When it came to handing over our box, they said they didn't have a bag – with the result that we had to put the box in the backpack and the cupcakes got squashed (we have a photo). Very unpleasant experience, not because the cakes were bad but the servers couldn't be bothered to do their job.

In the past Lola's send you an order confirmation, and then on the day of your delivery or collection they sent a notification email and a text message to your mobile phone to let you know that your order was ready for delivery/collection.
I had opted to collect my Tropical Posh Cake order. And intended to pick it up around 11am when I'd be free. But on the day by 2 pm I still hadn't received any email or text message to confirm my order was ready to pick up. So I contacted them, being a Saturday there was a queue online. Anyway eventually I got through and they said the cake was ready. It was a hot day - last Saturday, When I got there after 5pm, I expected the staff to go and get my cake from the fridge - as had happened at other locations, but here the cake was just sitting there in the heat. And this had been since 9am!
I was incredulous, I asked the woman, in this heat, why didn't you put the cake in the fridge, and she said, we don't have a fridge here.
And the woman had the cheek to tell me to immediately put the cake in the fridge when I got home. It took me over 2.5 hours to get home, and by then cake sides & decoration had "melted & smudged" (for want of better words) in the box - if the cake had been kept in the fridge as it should have been - until I arrived, it would have easily been able to withstand the 2.5 hours journey to my fridge. It would still have been firm. But instead it was "dishevelled."
The cake was for the next day's mother's day celebration. I took it out of the fridge and let it stand at room temperature for 3 hours - before the celebrant cut the dishevelled cake.
The cake had a funny grainy texture.

When a tub of ice-cream melts and then you re-freeze it. Next time you eat the ice-cream it has a funny texture. And you can't enjoy it.

Similar thing with the cake - it had a funny texture.

Even on Lola's website - it says their cakes can be enjoyed for up to 48 hours when refrigerated. But they thought it was okay to leave my cake out in last Saturdays heat for over 8 hours. A cake with dairy mascarpone, compote, ganache frosting /decorations.

Cake was tasty and looked lovely as usual. It was very popular with all the kids! Pick up from North Greenwich station was straightforward.

Beautiful raspberry cheesecake. Easy to order, delivered with care & on time. The flavour if the cake was amazing. Bought as a present & very well received. Highly recommended. Thank you for such great service

Collected some cupcakes that I had ordered online for a birthday.
Everything was straight forward and I was able to pick up the cupcakes with no problems.

The cupcakes tasted amazing! We don’t have Lola’s cupcakes up north in Yorkshire so it was a great first experience

It was a really good customer service the lady who was there for around 1/1:30pm was kind and very nice to her customers.
