WOULD NEVER. recommend vile customer service

Shame you can not give zero stars or minus Would never recommend absolutely disgusting customer service and after sales care - only interested in sales - and making social posts - made me super uncomfortable about wanting to post transformations this is such a hard and stressful situation you are dealing with , took the mick about how I suffer with ptsd and anxiety but singing the song “anxiety “ and giggling absolutely vile and degrading behaviour 🤮- I took my Hairdresser/ friend along she was horrified by the sales technique, the customer service and extremely disappointed in the lack of empathy and respect given with such a hard and touchy subject and can’t believe the after sales customer service or shall we say lack of it - I have picture of the hair loss and the chats
I purschased two wigs and the care product box was just under 1900- first messaged them after a week about shedding then a week later very concerned about the amount of shedding to be brushed of with that happens when it’s that blonde - I can pay for service that they do to infill which starts at around 100 I’m sure it is and also at this point so many people are saying how much the colour faded how it looks poor , can’t believe that’s the response ect - even spoke to another wig company and they were horrified I am in process of complaint - so disappointed and let down so wish I had done more research on them as there has been many with bad experiences.

Would recommend to stay away from this company please it is not worth the stress and disappointment

Go elsewhere

I really didn’t like my experience of Lilly’s Hair.

Having lost my hair from alopecia, I asked for their advice to try and get the right wig for a first time wig wearer. Their communication was very blunt and I expected more support. Despite poor communication, I still wanted a wig from them as they were considerably cheaper than other human hair retailers.

Unfortunately when the wig arrived, I felt a huge wave of disappointment and regret. The colour was nothing like the colour on the website which absolutely needs better management. Of course, they have a clause on the website that colours may vary due to imagery and computer screens blahblahblah, but there is nothing similar about the colour that I ordered. I wanted soft honey tones, and instead got a colour-block which was weirdly purple-toned underneath (considering it should have been dark blonde). There was also a very visible weft by the crown, the colour of the thread was a completely different colour to the roots, which would be on full display. I disliked the texture of the hair and the dye-job at the parting, which as you can see in the images is substandard compared to the images they’re advertising. The dye is too far from the wig cap which would therefore give the appearance of hairloss - something a wig aims to conceal.

In my opinion, this item was faulty, you cannot have a weft so visible, and the colour was far too far from as advertised, but they still retained 10% of the value as a ‘restocking fee’ and I paid for return postage.

In addition, those suffering with medical hairloss have a VAT exemption. Sometimes Lilly’s Hair have promotions in the form of discounts, however, they don’t allow people to use both the medical exemption and the promo, which feels very discriminatory to me. The VAT exemption is not money off from the retailer, it is not a double discount. Anyone should be entitled to benefit from a promotion, even if they have medical VAT exemption.

I would not recommend this company.

I’ve been using Lillyshair for a few…

I’ve been using Lillyshair for a few years now after buying from various different companies and I have to say the wigs from lillyshair are absolutely stunning they are completely outstanding, I am very fussy and like to have quality and this hair is everything 😍 I have so many compliments when wearing them, they give me so much confidence, the girls are very helpful and friendly.. I will be with Lillyshair forever 🙂

Inferior wigs. Bad customer care

I have bought Lilly’s wigs in the past and all ok but the last two went almost bald within months. All customer care said was that I was washing them wrongly. I have been wearing wigs from a lot of companies for years and never had this problem. I’m now with a more reputable wig maker. I’ve had it looked at by an expert and the report indicated the top (closer) had an inferior material which allowed hair to transfer the underneath and/or fall out. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Poor quality wig, disappointing customer service — resolved via chargeback

I purchased a human hair wig from Lilly’s Hair in February 2024 for nearly £900. Despite following all care instructions and raising concerns early on, the wig became unwearable in less than 4 months.

It shed excessively — losing at least 50% of its density — and the parting became visibly bald. When I contacted them, they dismissed it as “expected” and offered only a paid refill service instead of acknowledging that a premium-priced wig should last longer.

Their own website claims wigs can last 1–3 years with proper care, yet mine deteriorated despite me caring for it properly and even asking for advice early on when I noticed issues.

In the end, I had to escalate the matter through my bank, submit a chargeback claim, and was issued a full refund.

Very disappointed with the product quality and the lack of meaningful support when problems arose. Would not recommend based on my experience.

Can 100% recommend

After a while, it was time to replace a few of my wig collection.

Due to my job, it's very important to me that my hair looks flawless and the wig looks real.

So I bought a long, platinum blonde wig from lillyshair. First of all, I have to say that ALL my questions (I contacted the lillyshair team via Instagram) were answered quickly, and they were very helpful, including the lace (a normal lace is very itchy on my skin, so they made sure I got a one that doesn’t do that and it’s HD).

I was totally satisfied with the customer service and feel like I can always turn to them with any questions or problems.

Now, about the hair: I'm absolutely in love with it; the hair quality is wonderful. It has a strong shine, is easy to style (styles hold very well), and feels so good. It looks really real, and the cap fits perfectly on my head; nothing sticks out, and it's so comfortable.

Even after washing my hair, they remained perfect and stayed exactly as they arrived. No frizz, no tangling... just strong and healthy hair. I wore wigs for many years, so there’s a bit of experience and it’s safe to say the wig I got is amazing.

I get so many compliments and feel like myself again, and I'm going to buy another one soon.

Overall, the shopping experience there is so pleasant; I placed my order, and less than a week later, it was shipped. That's something I really appreciate. 100% recommendation.

In the past, where I bought my wigs, I had to wait many weeks for non-custom wigs. So this is another big Plus to me.

On point.

Ok. I have recently been a little critical of Lily's hair on here, but the latest purchase shows a real effort to redeem any issues.
Perfect bleached knots. Generous density, perfection in the colouring (and I mean, perfect, 100 percent accurate to pic), generous length, hairline is also perfection.
There is something so complete about the wigs I receive from here, that I will keep coming back, despite cheaper alternatives, because the quality, colouring, and choice is second to none. I received within a week, even with the Easter break in between.

Amazing wigs

I went to Lillyshair today to purchase a wig for my wedding this summer. However after falling in love with this wig I don’t think I’ll be able to keep it in the box until my wedding. I need to wear it before then! The quality of these wigs are amazing!
I also had the best experience in the salon today, the staff are so passionate about their job and provide unreal service, I felt so comfortable and left with my dream hair. Thank you ladies for making me feel pretty again

RI spent 1000s of dollars from…

I spent 1000s of dollars from lillyshair. The first two lace front wigs were everything loved loved my hair no sheading not issues. I bought 3 more they were horrible I cried. the hair fell out. Everywhere I went I shed like a dog. I was so embarrassed..I went to Africa for 3 weeks the wig didn't make it to see a 4th week. It was trash.
against my better judgment I ordered another wig. The company took my money with no response for weeks ..I finally get in contact with someone who didnt really care about having my money for almost a month with no response. After at least 10 emails she replied, saying she would send it to me. She was sorry for the delay. I told her I paid 350 for a hair fill for a old lace front. I didn't Understand how on top of paying 350 they wanted 250 plus for shipping. Crazy! so I asked her to pls give me back my money. I was told that's that's not possible...wtf .so I asked can I pls have the 22 inches instead of 20. I was going to get 22 from the get go but I used some of the money for a hair fill twice which I didn't receive. I then said pls send a 22inchs to make up for my lost money. She agreed and sent me 20in not 22 like we agreed..never again

Lovely experience!

I ordered a u part wig after buying one off another company. I was pretty nervous as the previous one was horrible, despite paying 400 euros.
Customer service from Lillyshair colour matched my hair really well, and when i received my u part i was so happy! Thick till the ends and exactly how i had hoped. I’m ordering a regular wig soon. Recommending to everyone!

I will always buy from Lilly!

I have been been buying from Lilly since 2017! Proudly one of her early customers, I have seen this company go from a small business into a much larger team and its been wonderful to see online.
I have had nothing but great experiences with this company, beautiful, high end wigs. All mine have lasted years! Even my 2017 wig is still in great shape 👌 I do look after all my wigs with silk bags, so I do beilieve this keeps the quality high.

I don't think I would buy any wigs from anyone else as I trust lilly and the quality of their products.

Replies can be a little slow through insta, and sometimes can be a little blunt and to the point, but... that's just because they are a busy company doing their best. 😌

I honestly wish I could give this company zero stars. My experience has been absolutely terrible — from the rushed consultation to the poor-quality product and the complete lack of customer service. When I went for my consultation, the experience was far from professional. The salon was like a building site, completely chaotic, with wigs scattered all over the floor. It was clear there was no care for the products or the customer experience. The consultation itself felt rushed, and it became obvious that the only thing they cared about was my money — not my needs or the quality of the wig I was buying. Despite their claims that their wigs are handmade and custom-made, my wig was ready in just one day. It was clearly picked out of a bag and quickly styled — nothing about this felt like a bespoke service. Still, I trusted their word and went ahead with the purchase, expecting a high-quality product given the price and their promises. Within just five months, the wig started falling apart. The brown shade turned into a horrible light blonde/ginger colour, nothing like the wig I originally received. I was told this was normal as washing and sun lightens it, I’ve only washed it four times and haven’t even been out in the sun — I live in Scotland and have been in hospital for six months receiving chemotherapy, so the idea that this kind of fading is “normal” is absolutely ridiculous. On top of the awful colour change, the wig has shed so much hair that it can’t even be redyed — something a professional wig specialist confirmed who I was suggested to go to as the price for Lily’s to do it was higher than expected. The wig is now so thin it’s practically unwearable. And as if that wasn’t enough, the strap at the back snapped, making it even harder to secure the wig properly. When I first raised these issues, the company told me the wig was too old to do anything about it — but the first issue happened after just five months, which goes against Consumer Rights. A product falling apart this quickly is not of satisfactory quality and clearly not fit for purpose. To make matters worse, I’ve reached out multiple times — through email and Instagram — and have been completely ignored. The lack of response is beyond rude and shows just how horrific their customer service is. For a company selling high-end wigs, I expected far better care and support when issues arose. Despite everything, I even tried to be reasonable — asking if I could pay to have hair added back in and the wig recolored, just to make it wearable again. But they’ve still not responded. The state of this wig has severely affected my confidence and mental health — I don’t even feel comfortable going out because of how bad it looks. What makes this even more upsetting is that I’ve recommended this company to three people, who also purchased wigs. I now deeply regret it, and I feel terrible for sending them to a company that clearly doesn’t care about their customers once they’ve taken your money. If you’re considering buying a wig from this company — DON’T. They sell you a faulty product and then disappear when things go wrong. The quality is shocking, the service is even worse, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.I have been back and forth with Lillys since November this is now march and the problem has still not been resolved.

Amazing as always!

This is now my fifth purchase from Lilly’s Hair and I will continue to support this business! The hair is top notch quality. And you cannot beat the customer service and the craftsmanship.

Best for influencers

I have tried to inquire about a wig and get no response, I have asked questions with no response. The customer service is poor and I belive this business caters to influencers which is quite disappointing.

Beautiful hair!

I am very sad, I had ordered a Upart wig and paid extra for express shipping it's been a month and no wig when I emailed them after a week they said it would take 3 weeks to make and one week for delivery but it's still not here so I don't know if I should just dispute the charge since I never received the hair... They don't answer emails you comment on IG live they say they will message you and never do.. Very unprofessional. EDIT to add that the specific wig I had ordered said 1-3 weeks in the description and it has now been 5 or 6 weeks. I only got an email after I made this review otherwise I had messaged a few times with no response and had asked questions on IG live and was told you'd get back to me but didn't until I wrote this review. I was going to change this review once I recieved the hair but unfortunately it's been stuck in Castle Donington for a week due to lack of information for clearance. I will change my review once I actually recieve my hair Thank you.

The hair arrived even though it took longer than expected I would definitely say it's worth it! It's beautiful and longer than I had expected! I can't wait to wear this hair for my wedding and will probably purchase another all black upart soon!
