Jeg har netop afsluttet et 4-gangs lerdrejningskursus hos Let’s Clay, og jeg kan på det varmeste anbefale dette hyggelige værksted. Den varme og indbydende atmosfære skaber de perfekte rammer for en sjov og lærerig oplevelse. På de fire sessioner kom vi godt omkring de essentielle keramikteknikker, og med fantastisk undervisning og vejledning fra skønne Maria, nåede hele holdet at fremstille en god portion krus, skåle, tallerkener og “kunstværker”. Det har været en utrolig god oplevelse, og jeg kommer helt sikkert tilbage til Let’s Clay.

Fantastisk sted hvis du vil lære at arbejde med keramik.
Atmosfæren er afslappet og meget rummelig. Der er plads til alle. Vores underviser, Maria havde en fin fornemmelse for os alle 8- hvor meget/lidt brug for hjælp vi havde. Hun var en spændende og beskrivende underviser og opmuntrede os alle.
Jeg har allerede meldt mig til et nyt hold.

My mom and I took the 4-hour Clay Turning - 1st Time Turning Course course at Let's Clay in Vesterbro. Maria, the instructor, was so amazing and patient. There was nice coffee and snacks, and overall good vibes. Although I had never tried making clay pottery before this, we each created four lovely pieces to keep. It was so much fun! I highly recommend Let's Clay to anyone!

Super intro-kursus, hvor det faktisk lykkedes os at skabe nogle ting. Underviser var også helt fantastisk. Kan varmt anbefales

I had lovely experiences here both in class and during open studio!

Did the 4-week throwing class and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Maria was a great instructor and helped everyone out with their centering and we got to make surprisingly good pieces. Fascinating process when the hands do the walking and you can shut your brain off for a few hours every week. We went through the entire process from throwing to trimming to glazing, and I know drink coffee from my favourite self made mug every morning. Highly recommend to everyone, creative or not. This is mindfulness on another level. Will be back!

I have tried several classes (weekend & 4-week classes) at Let’s Clay and have also used their open studio option.
The entire experience was really thought through with a lot of attention to small details. (Nice music, drinks & little snacks, hand wrapped pieces with pink wrapping paper at pick-up … )

The booking experience on the website and their e-mail communication is great and you always get really quick responses to more specific/ individual questions.

The atmosphere of the classes is very cozy with enough time for teaching and giving it your own shot. Because the classes are pretty small, every student gets the attention and help they need.
The team is not only extremely skilled in ceramics they are also great teachers and can always teach you something new, whether it is your first try or not.

You always get to decide what color you want your pieces glazed and in the 4-week class you even get to have fun with glazing yourself.

I am always happy to come back to this little creative and calming island in the heart of Copenhagen and can only recommend trying one of the classes yourself!

Jeg har prøvet et 2 dags drejekursus, det var en mega dygtig underviser. Hyggelig atmosfære og mindre hold. Der var god tid til at lære og selv prøve at dreje.
Jeg har også benyttet mig af åbent studie, som fungere virkelig godt.
Elsker deres concept og jeg kommer helt sikkert igen.

Amazing workshop, my bf and I joined the wheel throwing class - very informative yet hands-on with a great teacher!

Did a one-day wheel throwing course with Morten as the teacher. Got to learn the basics of making a bowl, a cup - and a few good pieces of undefined art 😁 made all the mistakes and got the time to try all over again while Morten was there to help. The atmosphere was relaxed, cozy, and both me and my partner actually made four prettier-than-expected bowls each.

Har netop været på et 2-dages drejekursus hos Let’s Clay! Morten, vores underviser, var utrolig dygtig. Han var super god til at forklare processen et skridt ad gangen. Holdet var lille og hyggeligt og atmosfæren afslappet, perfekt for kreativ udfoldelse. Kan varmt anbefales til alle, der har lyst til at prøve kræfter med keramik! Og hvis man vil supplere sine egne kreationer med lidt lækkert keramik, kan deres butik lige ved siden af også varmt anbefales, de har de fineste ting.

Det var den perfekte balance mellem leg og intensitet!
Morten besidder et kæmpe fagligt overskud i sit håndværk, der muliggør en stor rummelighed og fleksibilitet som lærer. Han sporer sig lynhurtigt ind på den enkelte “ler-elev” og forstår, hvor meget og hvor lidt vejledning denne skal bruge og ønsker, og hvad eleven har lyst til at arbejde med.
Stemningen er meget afslappet og uformel, men det er samtidigt meget tydeligt hvornår, der er elementer undervisningen og teorien, man ikke kan tage afslappet, fordi han er så dygtig en formidler.

I have joined the 4-weeks course two times already. I can so highly recommend it. I really love the setup of the course, the skills you learn, and cosy and chill environment that Sara and Morten create for their students. Now I feel confident enough to go to open studio and make my own creations without the teaching. It’s great.

Fantastik oplevelse at tage kursus hos Let’s Clay. Rigtig hyggelig atmosfære og tid til både at prøve teknikkerne selv, og få alt den nødvendige hjælp.

Absolutely recommend!

I took a 2 days wheel throwing class (received this as a birthday gift from my friends) where I got to learn how to throw, how to shape clay into a mug, or a plate, or a bowl - whatever I had in mind, I was helped to make it as in my vision.

The teacher was soooo kind and patient, with a great and uplifting mood - she simply made my whole experience even that much lovelier!

The place and the teacher are very welcoming, truly embodying the "hygge" values of Danish culture. Besides, the coffee and snacks made available were a veeery nice touch.

100% you will enjoy yourself, learn new skills and leave the studio feeling satisfied that you have accomplished something.

Working with clay also helps to disconnect from the everyday noise and reconnect with the elements.

If you want to put a smile on someone's face, looking for a teambuilding exercise, a birthday gift or simply you want to create something with your own hands - this is the place to go!!!

My boyfriend and I attended "Try to wheel throw - 1 class" and we enjoyed it a lot. The teacher explained the technique and she helped us whenever we needed it. We managed to do 4-5 pieces each in under 4 hours! The price includes them cutting the bottom of the pieces and trimming some edges, as well as the firing of the pieces (we got to chose the colors!). Looking forward to see the results and to do more classes with them :)
