I have recently moved into a property with my family in Hurstpierpoint and the whole lettings team ensured that the whole process went as quickly and easily as possible. Adam and Joe were quick to give me a call if there were any issues and any way they could help. I would highly recommend the Leaders team

From my own personal experience, they are quite possibly the worst letting agent I've ever dealt with.

Inaccurate check in and check out reports.

They appear to move goal posts quite often, contradict eachother and themselves in their own emails. And sorry always seems to be their hardest word.

I'm glad to be rid of them.

Trustworthy company, as a landlord, I always leave my house in their hands.

We are a family who rented via Leaders for five years until very recently. Our experience is that Leaders wholly represent the interests of the landlord and have no interest whatsoever in their tenants.

Right from the start of our tenancy, when we reported issues to Leaders, nothing would happen despite repeated chasing.

They tried to pressure us to have a promotional board outside the house, years after moving in. They heavy handedly pressured us to allow an inspection to take place during the pandemic despite our repeatedly explaining we were shielding and had sought advice from the local authority that they did not need to inspect.

When we handed in our notice, we raised a serious complaint but again this was only acknowledged and then not followed up.

Perhaps worst of all was the way they handled the inventory at the start and end of the tenancy – the initial check-in was done before work was even completed on the house. The very thorough end of tenancy checkout report was changed 6 days after issuing it to us because the landlord wanted additions added – as always, the agent just complied with this, with no consideration for the integrity of the process, the report or our rights as tenants. When it came to charges against the deposit, again they just forwarded the landlord’s claim without even checking it – and it took a full month to return the small balance of our deposit that we were able to hang on to (the rest we just submitted to in order to end the terrible experience).

Most of the staff we dealt with were very friendly, particularly Sarah, but this just wasn’t backed up by good customer service or indeed any form of meaningful property management. From our experience over five years, Leaders have demonstrated absolutely no interest in the tenants they work with nor any form of customer care.

It has been a pleasure working with Leaders. We have received fantastic service from the team and a special thank you to Douglas Urban who assisted us in finding the perfect home for our family.
I would highly recommend working with Leaders!
