As a Landlord my rented property recently had a few problems (conservatory windows, kitchen and boiler), I found Cameron of Burgess Hill very efficient, helpful and friendly. He obtained competitive quotes and liaised with the contractors. I could not ask for more. Thank you to him at Burgess Hill.

Very poor service, value for money and relationship management.

Leaders inspections were poor, not recording obvious items requiring maintenance. Inventory was also incomplete.

As our eyes in the property for the 7 year tenancy Leaders didn't do their job and as such property was allowed to deteriorate very badly.

This damaged the relationship between the tenant and ourselves which was 100% avoidable.

Staff are overworked working with poor processes.

Excellent service throughout especially from Hallie who was a star I was leaving for holiday six days after I saw the property and she ensured it went through smoothly and keep to me up to date at all times so I was able to pick up the keys the day after I got back great service

I contacted Leaders as I have known of them for many years. I was visited by a representative that was honest, fair and knowledgeable. I was told what I needed to do, when I needed to do it and what I could expect to gain from the experience. That's all I wanted.

Awful communication. 4 weeks after leaving property we're now being HOUNDED for a cleaning fee of over £400!! I've requested an invoice but had no reply. I'm now having daily emails threatening me with adjudication, I cannot reply to these emails and no one replies when I ask for an invoice. The photos of the supposed cleaning are dust on radiators. Any dust that has settled in 4 weeks is not my problem. They refuse to give me landlords details or pass my details onto landlords. I find these agents to be fraudulent. They did not fix issues I raised when living in the property and are now claiming I've damaged things. There were items left in the property when we moved in, they're now trying to charge me for removal of said items. They won't send me the inventory for when we moved in. The daily threatening emails are causing me endless stress. DO NOT USE.

As someone who deals with different property companies everyday we feel communication is key. We have had many dealings with the Burgess Hill branch particularly Georgia. We find they are quick to respond to emails or phone calls and have always been very polite and efficient.

Popped into branch as I was looking for some advice on renting a property as a first time renter. Tommy answered all my questions and made the entire process less daunting, I would recommend to anyone.

I rented out a property with Leaders in Burgess Hill and experienced a number of issues which suggest poor attention to detail. These included: mistakes in the online advertisement including incorrect council tax band and EPC band, mistakes in the tenancy agreement so it had to be cancelled and re-issued. I was then sent a copy with no signatures and had to ask for a verified copy. Mistakes in the inventory. I was told that my tenants had passed referencing, on the day of handover I was asked to sign a disclaimer stating that Leaders had been unable to verify a previous address. I felt pressured to sign this because I didn't wish to leave my tenants with nowhere to live, however, this information should've been communicated sooner. My tenants paid six months rent up front. Rather than pay me the balance minus their fee immediately Leaders took 8 days to send it so I lost a weeks interest on £8604 and had to use savings to pay expenses I incurred. They are slow to respond to messages. The staff are polite but after the mistakes I would not have confidence in them. I note that the branch manager repsonds to these reviews. I would've liked a message from them directly to apologise for poor service. I didn't get one. I won't use this agent again.

As a new landlord, I spent some time researching who could give me good advice, which agency had the best market presence (local and national) and also who had the most professional & credible team. Leaders at Burgess Hill topped the list, and I haven’t been disappointed. From initial enquiry about what type of property to acquire, to installing the best tenants, they have delivered almost seamless service – consistency which is hard to find. Thoroughly recommended!
