From our first dealings with Josh and his team, all the way through until our property finally sold, we were very impressed with the level of service and all the help and advice we were given. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, so I would highly recommend using them if you have a property to sell. Huge thanks to Josh, Spencer, Teagan and the rest of the team

I had a disappointing experience with Leader's Trust. The service I received over the phone was unprofessional and did not match the positive impression given by many of the Trustpilot reviews. It left me wondering whether the large number of positive reviews accurately reflects the experience of all customers. Based on my own experience, I would not recommend this company.

Josh Baldock was the agent dealing with the flat my daughter was buying recently as a first time buyer. The process was particularly long and arduous ( (no fault of Josh's or the seller) and although Josh was acting for the seller, he was so proactive, helpful and supportive to us. He liaised with the various parties to progress the purchase, and always responded promptly and professionally. My daughter and I are really very grateful to him

Josh Baldock was the sales manager I was working with and he was exceptional throughout. Responsive and proactive throughout a long drawn out sale (timeline was not a reflection on Josh). He was helpful throughout and genuine in his approach - not the stereotypical estate agent patter.
A pleasure to work with. My dad also used him to sell his property and also had a great experience. Cannot comment other consultants at Leaders but Josh was brilliant and would not hesitate recommending.

Joshua and Spencer were most helpful and supportive especially after our buyer pulled out as we got close to completion. They soon found an alternative buyer and kept us informed of progress up to completion today.

Namphet was super helpful and friendly. Leaders has been very responsive and organised before my move.

Took on board our feedback and perspective well and prioritised our concerns about the moving process.

Leaders have managed my properties for many years and I have always been happy with the service that I have received. Scarlet is the current Manager and I have found her to be very helpful, always dealing with any queries promptly and efficiently and keeping me in touch with developments. I’ve had some difficulty with Leaders getting stuff done in the flat I rent in the past but Scarlett Hobbs-Winstanley is a credit and asset to the Property Management team for Leaders in Brighton Western Road branch. Thank you Scarlett for getting work done quickly with competent and trustworthy maintenance professionals. It is greatly appreciated. You are a breath of fresh air and I am pleased to have you as my property manager.

I’ve had some difficulties getting responses from leaders and this is on going, however Scarlet has picked up some queries and has been quick at replying and has helped to move my cases forward. 5 stars for the support I have received from Scarlet, but hoping to see progress on replies from the Sevenoaks branch as Scarlet is not my main point of contact.

Thanks so much for Scarlet Hobbs of leaders who is our new Property Manager. She is not only an efficient Manager but also a courteous person. I appreciate her prompt reply in my every email. Moreover, she also provides assistance/booking for me as soon as possible.

The Brighton offices are shocking - they never answer the phone, have consistently not shown up when I've arranged viewings AND not bothered to let me know they won't be attending (it's been twice with me and once with a friend I was accompanying for a viewing).

Office hours aren't consistent because twice now I've tried to drop in during their stated working hours and the office has been closed.

The most recent viewing I attended was a no show because they went to the wrong property, they did contact me this time and were very apologetic for the mixup (which I did appreciate) but the lack of competence in this agency overall is astounding. I would have excused one bad experience but I have nothing but bad experiences with Leaders.

I am extremely reluctant to rent from Leaders because my list of problems with these lot piles up every time I interact with them. I recommend renters exercise caution when going through this agency.

Oh and a few years ago when I last was renting through Leaders, our boiler had broken over winter and they left us for two weeks without heating or hot water.

This is not the first time we’ve been burned by this agency. Called up about a rental property the day it went on the market and was told they hadn’t been in contact with tenant to arrange yet. We said ok and left our phone number and email, he said he would call us or text as soon as viewings were announced. We called back literally the next day in the morning to enquire about Viewings just incase, the guy on the end said all the bookings were full. We asked why we weren’t contacted and if there’s anyway he could get us a booking because we must have been one of the first to enquire about the property in the first place, but he said no and I didn’t push it because he really didn’t sound bothered. It’s such a shame and I’m sure there are so many people trying to find homes right now that are going through the same thing- a little comparison goes a long way!

Very Disappointed with Agency Leaders Brighton – Unprofessional and Unreliable

I’ve been very disappointed with Agency Leaders Brighton. During the viewing, they were friendly and showed us a couple of available properties in the building. Everything seemed fine at first.

But on our moving day, they gave us the wrong apartment keys by mistake. It turned out they had given us keys to a completely different property than the one we agreed on. Even worse, they couldn’t fix the issue on the same day. Fortunately, we had another place to stay overnight — but I honestly don’t know what we would have done if we had been fully packed and ready to move in with everything.

When they were finally ready to hand us the correct keys, they reassured us that the apartment would be cleaned and inventoried before we moved in. Based on that, we didn’t check it right away and waited until the next day. But when we arrived, the place was not clean at all — the floors were white with dust and dirt from builders, and it clearly hadn't been prepared properly.

On top of all that, the building is a new development and the address isn't even visible in the main databases. We tried to set up broadband and register with the council, but it wasn’t possible because the address hasn’t been added to official systems yet. As new tenants, we can’t update that ourselves — it needs to be done by the developer or agency. Nobody warned us about this before moving in, and honestly, i think they shouldn’t be letting tenants move into properties that aren’t even properly registered yet. It’s caused unnecessary stress and delays in getting basic services.

This whole experience has been frustrating from start to finish. The lack of communication, poor organization, and failure to follow through shows a real lack of professionalism.

We were pleased with the efficiency and speed of sale from Leaders.

We were extremely disappointed by Leaders recommendation to use Lifetime Legal. There is a major lack of transparency about what Lifetime Legal have actually done and hidden referral fees have led to us paying twice for solicitors work. If we did this again we would avoid Lifetime Legal like the plague - it is a total rip off. Leaders interest in Lifetime Legal should have been disclosed from the beginning.

Thanks so much to Oli from Leaders who was a real pleasure to work with. He went out of his way with kindness and compassion, to help us find the right place to rent, with our list of preferences. In a week he found us the perfect spot, and skillfully managed to negotiate a way for forward with the Landlord to suit our circumstances.
We were impressed by Oli's availability to us, his diligence and he made our process so much easier.

Well done Leaders! Definitely leading in a human centered approach to realty! Which was considerably different to other agents we had tried prior.

We received virtually no personal care or attention while trying to find a tenant for our well kept seafront property. Despite being encouraged that we would have no problem finding a tenant with the same rental fee in the two weeks we had before having to pay two mortgages. However, six weeks later and Leaders have only managed fewer than 10 appointments. There was poor communication throughout, virtually no feedback, and a distinct impression - perhaps because we did not want the full management service - that our rental was not a priority. Leaders only advice was to lower the price - despite our previous tenant paying our asking price and several renovations made to the flat. They didn't seem concerned when we requested to be removed from their books - and potential landlords shouldn't concern themselves with Leaders.

Useless, terrible communication. Don't give them your time or money.

I have had a good year with Rebecca Jones as my key contact. She has restored my faith in Leaders by being professional, and clear in communications. She finds out the details before sending through the issue and works in a balanced manner for both landlord and Tennant. She is friendly and approachable and nothing seems to be a bother or problem.

The worst kind of service, scamming and trying to get tenants pay for everything. Untruthful such a waste of time. Glad I moved out!
