Started running away by itself and ran my nan over in the process

Bought a Mcgregor cordless lawnmower in April 2024 it has a two year guarantee, in April this year 2025 the battery wouldn't charge I tried twice calling customer service and after 30 minutes each call was cut off with the message " sorry there's no one to answer your call " I've heard that other people are having the same problem, I would advise anyone contemplating buying a mower from this company to think twice as you will be buying a load of trouble so save your money and shop else. This complaint isn't aimed at cutting edge it's solely aimed at Mcgregor sorry for any misunderstanding.

Hedge cutters put in for engine service, and full starvation, waited ages so i phoned lady says can't find machine, then apparently waiting for part, waited ages phoned ,and they say it was ready to be picked up, £40 dep, and £44 to pay , never used machine for a short while, went to big job, filled with fuel and started machine , stopped and started and cut out all the time, took machine back, obviously furious,first words out of staff, how old is your fuel , bearing in mind I used 4 machines the same day with the same petrol , they phoned and said water in fuel ,did I have some water in the tube which connects to the petrol can , also bearing in mind ,,first time it was put in ,(fuel starvation ) no water was mentioned, so another £40 paid for stripping it down ,,, don't touch this firm ,thay don't know how to listen to customers, especially the guy behind counter. I'll never ever will use them , I have 47 years of using machines, but was not being listened too.

This is the third machine I have bought from them. Steve recommend a Dutch Company I had never heard of for a petrol chipper called, GTM. He said he has met the family at an exhibition and they are passionate about their products. So, I bought one. Just given it a maiden workout this morning, cracking machine! Quality and it will give me years of service. Talking of which, took my Stihl Blower abs strimmer in for engine issues and a service. They came back like new machines, spick and span, gleaming! I couldn't get the cutting mechanism of my 'new' second hand chainsaw to run, so I messaged Owen for assistance. This was late morning, Saturday. Within the hour, Owen arrived at my house and solved the problem at once (the problem being me, not the chainsaw). I was then able to complete the job I'd planned for the day, simply brilliant support from Cutting Edge. Top, top marks!!

I bought a Toro lawnmower online from Cuting Edge Machinery. Very helpful and prompt delivery, next day. There was an issue related to carton damage by the carrier, but Steve was extremely apologetic and rectified the minor damage sustained.

I am extremely happy with the service from start to finish, everyone I dealt with was very helpful and friendly, .... and the lawnmower works a treat!
