I'm giving this 2 stars in hopes that I get a response to the email I sent today. I ordered 3 pendant lights on December 19th; so far no information from the tracking, it looks like it's not actually shipped yet. I've sent 1 email to customer service, hopefully I'll hear something overnight. Has anyone been able to find a phone number?

Shocking customer service, long waited delivery for poor quality light that is not even for use in our country. I need to return it and no one is getting back to me

The descriptions and photos are not even close to what you get after a month of waiting. There's no idea that this isn't shipping from the US. Bulbs are not provided which is hidden and there's no ability to purchase them during checkout. Basically you get an overly priced lamp based on us prices that has non-us customer service like being able to easily return without having to pay $40 for a $500 order plus a restocking fee. They just hope that you won't return it based on the level of frustration. Do not buy anything from them unless you want to experience frustration and vague manipulative responses when you try to resolve your issue.

This has been an ordeal as a UK customer buying from a uk company and having to return to a country where postage is very expensive.
As a company they provide a return procedure that is difficult and this is a real shame for such a lovely website. I am not in the habit of returning items and this has sadly not been the best experience as the easiest option has left me with 2 lights I do not need and out of pocket financially.
They offered me 20% 40% 60% to keep the two items and my address to return was in China and the tracking was very expensive for the 2 lights. It was easier to take the 60% refund.
Really not impressed as the lights looked cheap

We put this light in the hallways. I have it on the lowest setting and it’s a warm glow. I love this lights and this one is perfect light quality and great design. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. The customer service is like a robot that trying to convince you to keep the light. The light that cost 200+GBP was actually about 10 RMB (1 GBP) on Taobao. I am wondering if anyone ever successfully got the refund from the company. A total SCAM! Order LPUK15038

It took a long time to receive the goods, but the customer service provided the order information in time. Lights were very beautiful, as described. Very modern light for room, very bright and lights the whole area up.

How perfect, I bought a lamp, it’s dimmable. I keep it on the warm light setting, it’s super light weight on the wall, easy to install. Super happy with this beautiful product!

Bought a couple of ceiling lights late November. One Turned up on the 23rd December, other one nowhere to be seen. Despite the .co.uk website this is a direct from China operation, similar to Temu but for lights. Quality of the light that turned up way more like £4 rather than the £60 I paid. Now have to brave the returns process. Wish I’d read these reviews first!!
UPDATE - other light came a couple of days later with bits hanging off. Offered 30% discount to avoid return. As others have said they have provided a China address for returns. The scam here is that they sell lights with virtually no value and make returns so expensive that it’s not worth sending back. Avoid them at all costs.
UPDATE - They have agreed and paid a refund. Not surprisingly they didn’t want the product back as the cost of postage is more than the product, this supports my previous view that this is a scam. I was fortunate that there was some damage to the product. If there hadn’t been I would have had to keep them. Tried to make me destroy them but I refused as you are not required to do this in the UK.

They told me the item was shipped on 12/8 but when I go to click on the shipping link it doesn't exist. There's no record of the shipping 12 days later. I've tried emailing twice and received no reply. We put in the order on 12/2 and now 18 days later are nowhere near closer to getting these items. UPDATED - they list two different tracking numbers between the email and website, neither works.

Updated 1/3/24: Order finally arrived today. We haven't installed the new lights yet, so will update once we do. I will say, they did finally respond to customer service emails only after I made this review.

My experience with this company gets worse with every encounter. Not only is the product NOT what the advertise, but The absolute worst customer service. In order to return something that is garbage you have to pay for shipping. No matter how many requests you make they continue to try to persuade you to keep it.
Do NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
Added to review following lampsmodern response: completely untrue. I DID deal with agents. More than once.
You are lying if you are suggesting that you would handle it differently! if that is true, by all means refund my total cost; not just the 30% that you said was your max offer.

I got an email saying my order (# 4752) was shipped 11/28. I have not received it yet. The email they sent gives a tracking number which shows as an invalid number when you try and track it. I’ve tried to reached out to multiple company emails multiple times and all emails have bounced. At this point I’m now having to call my cc and report this company.
Can you explain why your company’s emails are bouncing? Please give me an email address to use that works.

At the end I return to London address and got the refund.

I recently bought the Nordic Multi-Head Island Lamp, and it’s truly a statement piece. The only downside was a small delay in shipping, but customer service kept me informed the whole time. The product is worth the wait, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Please do not buy from this website. It is not a U.K. company. All product shipped from China. However, they have a Hong Kong address on the website for some reason. I thought this is a company based in the U.K. as their website end with U.K. The light I ordered is £149 on their website. I found it is only £30 somewhere else. Everytime when you want to cancel your order, they would say the order is dispatched although they haven’t dispatched it at all. The order was placed on 5th Dec night time in China. And the timeline for dispatch is 5-7 working days. They cannot dispatch the item on 6th Dec. Now they state that order has been dispatched and no dispatch email sent to me at all. Upon checking the order on their website, the order is “awaiting fulfilment”and not dispatched at all. They are lying!
Update: I put through chargeback in regard the transaction to Amex and they have to cancel my order now. Upon checking their website and reviews, not even a bad review at all which is unusual. Look at the reviews here and compare them to reviews on their website. Be honest and transparent is the key to business.

Ordered 26th November and haven’t heard from them since! Sent emails and no response. I would like to have a full refund now as read reviews and the quality isn’t good.

Do not buy. Products come from china and are cheap and nasty. I've been told £65 to return by post office. The website suggests that you can return hassle free and it is a UK company. The small details under exchange and returns advises that if you don't like the shite they've sent then you foot the bill to ship it back.
