I have used Kovi Fabrics for over a decade. They have supplied samples at no cost for draperies, upholstry and special projects. Their return policy is excellent! I can find so many alternatives in their site it stimulates new ideas. This is not a fly by night website. They are an excellent vendor with a great team!

The website is impressive, but the company is horrible. I picked out a fabric, and the photo and the description were exactly what I wanted—aqua and beige. But, when the fabric arrived, it was navy and beige. Believing Kovi’s claim that satisfaction is guaranteed, and my money would be refunded if I wasn’t satisfied, I contacted the company by email. (Just try getting someone to answer the phone number they give you. I dare you.) After some effort on their part, trying to get me to order some other material in exchange, I said that I just wanted my money refunded. (I wanted to return the unusable fabric, but was told it wasn’t necessary.) I did order and pay for two new fabric samples to be sent to me. They didn’t come, and they didn’t come. After several emails telling them that I still had not received my samples (or my refund), an envelope finally showed up. But, with only one sample fabric. Months later, I have yet to receive the other sample or the refund for my fabric order. Stay far, far away from this company.

I ordered fabric from this company on November 12, 2019. Prior to placing my order, I requested a sample which I received. At the time I requested the sample and at the time of the order, I asked the order taker to check whether they had the yardage I requested in their warehouse. I even put a hold on the yardage (I thought). I was then put on hold while the person went to double check. He returned to the call and assured me that the fabric was in their warehouse. Two weeks after my purchase, the fabric had not been received. For over a week, I called this company every day and received no return call. I emailed them and received no response. I finally received a phone call on 12-3-2019 (after I left a message that I would be requesting a refund from my credit card company). The person who spoke with me finally told me the fabric was on backorder until 12-31-2019. I was never told this at the time of the order and no one ever called me after I placed the order to tell me the order was on backorder.
It is my belief that this is not a real company. That this is a side gig for something with a full time job and there is no customer service. I have requested a refund on my credit card for this purchase. BEWARE OF SHOPPING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I have all the paperwork to back this up – the order confirmation, the fabric sample etc. . BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I have put in a complaint to Better Business Bureau

WARNING: Do not waste your time ordering anything with this company! They are deplorable. Nonexistent customer service. Try googling them and you can read for yourself what others have experienced. Abysmal!!! Just disputed the charge with my credit card company, but spent HOURS trying to get in touch with Kovi and figure out the status of my order. Save yourself time and money by dealing with a reputable fabric supplier!!!! NOT KOVI!
PS: I had to give them one star, but they really deserve ZERO

Just awful. Ordered samples that never arrived. Then tried to contact customer service to find out what happened. Customer Service is basically non-existent. It's a voicemail box and you never get a return call. Do yourself a favor and don't ever order from this company. I'm not even sure they really exist.

I have ordered many fabric samples and large amounts of three different fabrics from KOVI. All the fabrics were flawless and the amounts measured correctly. I have also talked with their representatives as well as emailed and chatted. Very good customer service in all formats. So disappointed that other customers have had lesser experiences. I will continue to order from KOVI.

Ordered a swatch which was 4x4 inches even though the pattern is 12 inches across. The website says the swatches will encompass the entire pattern repeat. The colors worked so I ordered the fabric. When it came in, the dye lot was MUCH darker and did not work in my room. I called to return and was told to fill out a request online, which I did. The website said I would receive a call in 24-48 hours. Never heard from them. Over two weeks later, I was having a “chat” online with a rep and they left me waiting for 45 minutes with no response. Terrible company. Luckily I only ordered 3 yards of fabric but I intended to order other fabric. Now I will go to a legitimate site for my upholstery needs.

My recent experience (5/2019), with Kovi Fabrics --- EXCELLENT !!! No, I am not on their payroll, nor any compensation, nor a family member, nor a friend -- just a regular person trying to find some outstanding fabrics for several projects in our home. I did a lot of research of fabrics and found that Kovi Fabrics has many beautiful and high-quality fabrics, as well as a skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable staff to compliment their fine fabrics. A GREAT FIND!! Do NOT let some of the reviews deter you from looking at their fabulous fabrics, getting samples, and interacting with their customer-oriented associates.

Kovi Fabrics is a company that does not honor its word. I have been given the run around from them about a fabric return. They sent me something that never matched the photo. The color was off.
Never do business wth these people. I am stuck with fabric that can't be used for my project.

I have been trying to reach them for last 72 hours. Their system crashed when I placed my order and I couldn’t tell if the transaction went through. I have called upwards of 15 times and have the opinion that their “customer service” line doesnt exist and that they never answer their phones. I have left numerous messages saying this is time sensitive and I need a call back. I will never do business with them again.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A USELESS ENDEAVOR . I TRIED CALLING ONLY TO ALWAYS GET WE'RE ALL BUSY LEAVE A MESSAGE. I DON'T PLAY THAT GAME. SO, I TRIED ON THE COMPUTER , I'M STILL WAITING FOR ANY RESPONSE , FOUR DAYS LATER !!! HOW HARD IS IT TO RESPOND ? AS A FORMER CUSTOMER SERVICE REP I KNOW, FOR SURE, IT IS NOT.

Bait and switch - Kovi sent fabric that did NOT match the photo or description online. It took a ridiculous amount of time and complaint to get the order refunded. After being told that I would be reimbursed for the return postage, there was a repeat of their runaround routine. Eventually they told me they WON’T pay me back for returning their ‘mistake.’

Kovi fabric is not a real company even though I got my money back. They do not have any inventory. a poor estimate when orders are being delivered. One man dirk customer service. If that’s really his name. No real offices a mail order box in several residential areas. If you have a project you want done go to a real company. Decorators best Kravet zarrins joes anyone but kovi pay more but get your fabric.

I ordered a few samples, I tried to order my choice the day I received samples but it was already out of stock. So I chose a similar one and ordered it-says ships 5-10 days. I wait 2 weeks and nothing comes so I call and inquire online. Then I am told it is out of stock. I had an upholsterer waiting for this fabric. Why not let the customer know immediately it is out of stock instead of wasting 2 weeks showing “in process” on my order status. I did receive a refund but this system is NOT customer friendly. So I guess if you get any fabric you are lucky...

My fabric was never delivered, but they charged me for it. Customer service was awful and did not help.

I love KOVI Fabrics. Over the years, I have done several projects all over my home with KOVI fabrics. They are beautiful in appearance, quality and .durability. My friends and family have requested that I redue some of their favorite pieces once they see the projects I have done. They think it was professional done and that is the highest complement!!

I recently purchased fabric from Kovi. I had been searching for months for an olive green microsuede and I couldn't find the right color and quality. I found both at Kovi. I had a chaise lounge custom made with the Kovi fabric and it is beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

I searched online to find material to replace worn seat areas for two accent chairs. I stumbled onto KOVI'S website where I found complimentary fabric perfect for the chairs. The price was reasonable (on sale even!), delivery quick, the quality excellent. Customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend this company. Their selection is vast, quality and service a 10!

I ordered 13 yards of fabric that said it was gray/blue. When it arrived it was brown/green. I called and was told I could return. I shipped it back and it was signed for by a Kovi employee on March 8th 2016. Credit card was never refunded. Started calling April 21st and Dirk was looking into it. I had to call back for 5 days and was finally told that too much time had passed for a credit card refund so they were mailing me a check. Dirk confirmed my address and said I should receive in 3-4 days. I waited until May 3rd and had to call again , still no check. Dirk verified an incorrect address ? Then said he didn't know if the check was sent to that address?! I asked to speak to a manager and that's not possible. Only after my husband got involved did we find out that the company is in Hungry and Dirk is answering phones in New York. There is no one I can follow up with or talk to. On May 3rd Dirk said they were sending a check US postal service next day. It is now the 5th and Dirk won't answer the phone . I've left messages and haven't heard back. I'm waiting for $459!! They have had the fabric for 2 months now. Please do not order. We need to get attorney to handle this.

I ordered 27 yards of upholstery fabric. Dirk and I were in contact SEVERAL times, and I was being kind of a pain, because I needed/wanted the fabric ASAP. I cannot tell you how kind, patient, thoughtful, and how he truly exemplified the term 'customer service' . What a gem to have as an employee. I feel like he jumped through rings of fire, hoops and everything else, just to make sure I was happy. I am happy, and I will tell everyone I know just how great your company is.
I hope you know how fortunate you (Kovi Fabric owners) are to have such a dedicated employee. I could go on forever, but I think you get the point!
