Broadband cancelled by konnect fair enough and the want their modem back or they will take 130€ from my account fair enough again but refuse to take the usless dish or pole back its all sitting waiting to be collected o 140 € fasten dish to house as in comreg report on my case run forest run

3 problems on my mind, although the internet/broadband connection itself has been working perfectly since February. Abdul the agent who delt with me very courtesly and efficiently solving all the questions asked and coming back to me at the prearranged time to ensure that the technical issue had been solved. I was a customer of EuropaSat which was an excellent service. They then changed their name to BigBlu. I liked their service. I use Siemens GigaSet Voip phones connected to the router. On BigBlu the service was excellent. Then I accepted the invitation to join Konnect.com
They took over BigBlu and then that is when the service level dropped significantly.
Firstly, when signing up to Konnect.com I agreed to pay the £49.99 connection fee which included installation of the satellite dish and connection to the service. I was then asked to send them pictures of my house and the surrounding area for evaluation of the site for installation of the dish. I supplied them the pictures as asked. Then I got a reply that the wall of my house was not suitable as the wall was made out of stucco. I had to explain to the salesman that the stucco is applied over 100mm brickwork of the exterior wall and the mounting of the dish would be structural sound.
Soon after I got demands to pay an excess of £300 for them to install a concrete post to mount the satellite dish. I told them they entered a legal contract to install the dish for the stated price of the £49.99 that I paid for. They then backed off.
They hired a outside company to have the dish installed and there was no further mention of the £300 plus fee to install the concrete post. When I discussed it with the engineer, he said that it would not be appropriate to install the post because of the composition of the soil and wouldn't support the installation of the dish. The engineer then installed the satellite dish and connected the service. The engineer did a good job.
Soon after when the trouble with the service started. My Siemens GigaSet voip phone keep dropping out that was connected to the supplied router. I contacted Konnect.com and they said it was the fault of phone service provider. I use Voipfone which is an excellent service. I contacted Voipfone and they looked at my connection remotely and determined that the connection provided by Konnect.com was poor.
I never had a problem with BigBlu. This problem persisted for several weeks until Konnect.com finally rectified the problem with their service.
Now, after the past several weeks I have been having connection issues with the connection of my VoIP phone and slow download speeds, loss of connection to Wi-Fi, both 2.4 and 5 GHz. Plus security alerts on Wi-Fi where affecting the security of my iPhone.
I have been in contact with customer service because I couldn't send them an email because of the poor connection I was experiencing. I then called their customer service and they couldn't or wouldn't help me. They said they would refer it to their technical department and that I would hear from them that day or the next day. They failed to contact me. The following week when I got fed up waiting for them to call, I called them back. Same treatment as before.
Finally, I got left a voicemail on my voip phone after I gave them my mobile number because my voip line was not working because of their router. I told them not to call me on my VoIP phone because it was not working, I gave them my mobile number instead. They ignored my request to call my mobile number. I then got a email from my VoIP provider that I had a voicemail.
I called them back from my mobile phone and they told me that the dish was not installed properly or the settings were incorrect and that an engineer would have to visit. Konnect.com said an engineer would call me.
The call from the engineer never happened. The following week I called Customer service again. They told me they wanted £450 for an engineer to come to my house. I refused. I reminded them that the equipment is theirs and not mine and they are responsible for it.
Customer service refuses to contact me by email and only leaves voicemail. If they had contacted me by email, I would have included it with this review. I am convinced by their refusal is protect them from liability.
I would give them zero stars review if I could. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Customer service at konnect replied today acting like they knew nothing about
anything how they have been treating me. They know very well how they have treated me as a customer and how they tried to extort money from me to repair their equipment. I should not pay for their incompetence. They know my contact details including my email address and they still refuse to communicate by email. Who in their right mind would anyone agree to pay £450 to have an engineer to repair their equipment?

Absolute disgraceful service. Dish installed in march and have had no signal since.
Numerous calls to them just get you nowhere.
Empty promises of calls back and issue would be resolved.
Sending bills out every week for a service they are not and have not provided.
SCAM.

Incompetent AVOID don’t be taken in by the sweet talking sales
PLEASE scroll on and read older reviews! I wish I had done before signing up! Reports of Poor internet and a monstrosity outdated dish and modem - seems they have a sweet talking sales team to reel you in. My experience with Konnect once I paid and signed up:
I Signed up with Konnect as they offered a better deal - we live very isolated in a large national park Forest. Installer arranged appt partner took time off work the installer travelled from other side of the country took him 3 hours. He struggled to find where we live, we live on an unnamed Forest track. But I’d explained this to Konnect and how to get here. He Asked where was kit? We had no kit and thought he would have it , no communication from Konnect when and how kit would get to us. No kit arrived so I rang Konnect who said ups had tried to deliver the day after the installer arrived but couldn’t deliver it. We weren’t told to expect a delivery or when, and we both work full time. After this blunder wouldn’t you have thought Kinnect would have made it a priority to get the kit delivered? No it isn’t a priority and the blundering continues ! This was 2 1/2 weeks ago still no kit and now told kit was sent out again to installers over a week ago and is “in transit” I’ve raised surely there’s a tracking no and they can find out where the kit is and when it will be delivered ? But told all they can find out “it’s in transit”
They make no offer to communicate with the delivery co and I suggest they do, they tell me they have emailed sat works the installer to ask if they have the kit yet - I ring the installer sat works they have no kit and don’t know when it will arrive - they haven’t had any email from Konnect. I ring konnect and explain for the 10 th time since I signed up with them I gave notice to my current internet provider - as being 5% of the population with no internet service - it is very expensive and only available through satellite - I remind konnect of when this service will end, I remind them I need to be able to work from home and need the internet as a social worker in safeguarding and I am continually told “it’s in transit” I ask to speak to a supervisor - I am cut off - I ask to make a complaint - and get no answers as to how I can do that . On the 19 Nov we will have no internet and our landline doesn’t work now - still dont know when the kit will arrive I think it’s in cyber space floating around
Appalling service before they have even began to provide any internet and I’ve wasted time ringing and emailing them and still none the wiser, companies like this should not be allowed to operate, yes they have a very nice sales team who promise you the earth but deliver you nothing but stress and take up your time and don’t respond to the majority of emails I have sent .
Already dropped you a number of emails - no response

Somewhat Awful
The positive is the staff are lovely when you speak to them but they really don't know how to advise me about the awful service we get.
So so disappointed with the service as due to the latency and less than 1 Mbps upload speed despite being on one of the top packages everything takes ages to load.
From 7.00 pm to 9.00pm it constantly grinds to a halt and you just can't stream or even send an email despite having loads of data to spare. Forget internet shopping nothing moves and it's like the bad old days of dial up.
I was with their competitor prior to joining up which is still Eutelsat owned which was just as terrible but at least the upload speed was better than the 1 Mbps we get now.
I can only use the 2g service via the modem and even the engineer who came out from Sat Works said don't bother with the 5 g connection as it's never worked.
Stuck now until September 2022 but living in deepest darkest rural Somerset with no chance of fibre or 5g goodness knows what will be available for me.

Upgrading to 3 stars as once again the customer service team have been excellent.
Installation problem identified and now awaiting an engineer to come out and resolve which if they do 5 stars and a positive review will replace all of this.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
They cannot provide a service and have now contacted me to say I have cancelled the contract, I HAVE NOT CANCELLED ANYTHING!!!! They want all their outdated junk back in new condition in the unopened box even though the said junk has been installed by the engineer. Failure to return their equipment in unopened new condition will mean I will have to pay the 240 euro. This is how they are making money, by scamming people.

The 5 stars given are solely because of an exemplary employee Konnect are luck to have, Jessica Hill. She is super helpful and efficient. She has endeavoured to help me with a problem that isn't even in her remit. She is polite, understanding and most obliging and super patient. I've emailed other departments in your company who never respond. Jessica always responds and tries to sort out my problem, it's ongoing but certainly no blame lies with her, she has gone above and beyond.
Konnect look after her, she is worth her weight in gold!

Customer service is amazing
Customer service is amazing, so helpful and friendly.
I live in the middle of no where and no company would touch us with such slow internet speeds but Konnect have been great, my daughter can get on YouTube and Tiktok and I can now watch Netflix!!

Always impressed with customer support
As usual this was a very positive experience. The phone was answered within a minute by a very friendly customer support lady who was very helpful and supportive. Unlike so many IT based sites I have never been treated like a numpty!

Don't waste your time!
The initial customer service is ok...promising the world. Reality is different: trouble getting the engineer and dish set up (their confusion). We bought the middle package (60) and used it within a few days of just watching telly on THREE days! Speeds after that are so slow that you cannot do anything really. I have to use my phone mobile data to even write this! Called and got a customer service rep with attitude when questioned. Billing is dodgy - when I addressed this with the CSR he skimmed over it and didn't sort it. We pay direct debit and then got a message saying we need to pay or will disconnect (so I paid, but now over paid). We are still within our 60 day cooling off promo so will be cancelling. This was a lot of trouble for nothing (hope they come and get their big *ss dish off our house with less trouble than it took to get it up there).
