Excellent Support from Jenn and Bea

I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Jenn and Bea from Keyzee, as they handle most of the key and fob orders for the properties we manage. Since I review and approve orders before they are processed on their end, we communicate quite frequently, and I truly appreciate how smooth they make the process.

Jenn and Bea are always prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful whenever I need assistance with orders, especially those that come with complications. They’re quick to respond, proactive in resolving issues, and consistently ensure everything is handled properly.

What stands out most is their willingness to go the extra mile, not just for us, but also for the property owners. They take real ownership of their work and approach every interaction with professionalism and a genuine eagerness to help.

I ordered car park keys for an…

I ordered car park keys for an apartment block almost 8 weeks ago and they still haven’t arrived. So I can’t access my own car space at home. Endless excuses from Keyzee. And they must be one of the few key companies in the world that don’t answer the phone. Just give them a call to see if they answer. A shambles of a business.

Hi Phil,

Apologies for the delay in receiving your order. We were notified by the supplier and building manager that this was resolved mid-November. We did not hear from you again until the 22nd December when most of the suppliers were shut down and had no means of resolving the issue.

We did not answer your calls as you were calling during the Christmas closure period.

As soon as both we and the suppliers reopened on the 5th January we promptly resolved your issue and the remotes were delivered the end of that week.

We hope to provide you a better experience in future and that you will reconsider your review in light of the situation.

I received the wrong key

I received the wrong key to start with which was not really anyone’s fault but the service I received to rectify the problem was second to none.
Jenn was very helpful and contacted me to sort the issue out.The correct key was replaced quite quickly and I was kept up to date throughout the whole process.More companies should be like this one.It was a pleasure dealing with them.

This company blame customers for everything

Update: their management team Abraham post out a new one by using the courier. Hence, I adjust the rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

Another victim of their auto generated postal label. The company completely denying their responsibility checking the postal label before sent.
Rang office multiple times requesting investigate the reason why the parcel stuck at the local AusPost distribution Centre without progress. their team member Jenn simply reply they couldn’t do anything apart from filing the report. Until I close look at the label then found out there is no street name on the label. Once again, Jenn completely denying they have the responsibility to check the label before sent. In the end her phone manner becomes very unprofessional, hang up the phone without even say bye.
If people actually read their management’s reply, you can see they never admit they are in fault or need to improve from their end. Any OC company or private should stay away from this company.

Thanks for your feedback. We've reviewed the issue and found that it was caused by entering the unit number in the address line box, rather than the unit number box. We've adjusted the programming of the auspost plugin to ensure it captures all the fields to avoid this happening in future.

In regards to Jenn, we reviewed the call and from the notes found that she was trying to transfer you to the manager to escalate the issue which is where it cut out. Apologies for any miscommunication on that front.

Initial error corrected way above expectations.

I had a bit of a rocky start with KeyZee, as there were some initial mistakes with my order. However, once I expressed how upset I was, the level of customer service and recovery was exceptional. Abraham went above and beyond to make things right—he even came to me after work to personally deliver the product, which really impressed me. It's rare to see that level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

While the initial mishap was frustrating, the recovery alone has earned my recommendation. It’s clear that KeyZee values its customers and takes feedback seriously. That said, I do hope the staff at KeyZee learn that older generations aren't as out of touch as they might assume—we did, after all, create the internet!

Overall, I’m pleased with the resolution and would still recommend KeyZee for their impressive effort to make things right.

I needed new fobs and ordered some…

I needed new fobs and ordered some through Keizer. Abraham and the team were amazing! They not only supplied new fobs but organised to get my old fobs up and running. There was a minor issue with the initial fobs but Abraham went above and beyond personally delivering a substitute and sorting the issue.
Would definitely recommend!

Very expensive services

$100 for an apartment key is not reasonable. They claim It's a "special" key but I was able to find a company in Melbourne on Russell street that copied the key for a fraction of the price. It took 5 minutes, not 10 business days...

They don’t have a Google business account or show much in search results on Google. It raises serious concerns about transparency and trustworthiness.

We appreciate that a restricted key is expensive, however $100 is not unreasonable.

We aren't sure which building/company you are from as you've not included it in your review. For reference, the cost to have a restricted key cut and delivered ranges between $60 - $90 depending on which locksmith services your building. In addition, depending on who your owners corporation management company is, there is an admin charge to process your order ranging between $25-$40 per order which has been agreed to by your owners corporation.

We do not set the prices, we pass on these charges from suppliers and your management company to you. If you'd like to have this Russell St company be your locksmith to be cheaper and quicker we advise you to contact your owners corporation manager to see if your system can be transferred to them.

Nightmare - Bad Mgmt/Owner Corp if use them

Not sure how much they are paying for the other reviews but their integration into our management website doesn't recognise our building, the support help opens skype which is of course not functional, the phone number the management company gave they have never picked up... when I emailed pretty much everyone at the management company it must have been escalated and then they were like oh we sent it. They never gave me a trackID and its Australia post so not sure if the mail man tried but it was all a nightmare. I judge any management company who chooses them and as an apt owner nightmare is the only word to describe them.

We trust Australia Post with our deliveries as they are the nation's largest logistics provider. While we unfortunately have no control over the actual delivery, we are looking into why you didn't receive the Auspost tracking notification.

I ordered two access fobs and both were incorrectly programmed, how hard can it be to check that they work when you are charging an extortionate price for two plastic fobs?
Really disappointed and frustrated at having to go to the common floor and then up a flight of stairs to then use my phone to access my floor

They try to help

I complained about the super-high price. The company advised that the price is set high by the body corporate on purpose, to prevent residents from over-ordering. They suggested to refund half of the cost I paid because I was forced by the rent agent to order one.

There are a handful of buildings on our platform that have fobs that are charged at this price. Where products are charged at this amount it is because either:

- A security technician is either attending the property to code the fob to your particular apartment door.

- A security technician charges for a remote attendance to code the fob to your apartment and deactivate the lost device.

These are requirements that your owners corporation have made for the security of your building. Fobs purchased on Amazon are not a comparator and will not work for these types of buildings.

The owners corporation management company's admin fee is as agreed between your owners corporation and the management company. There is also a cost to providing credit card payment facilities which are passed on to the customer.

Once you send us some more information about your building we'll be happy to provide you more information.

Promptly fixing the mistake that my fob was coded for a nearby building

Our newish strata manager didn’t have the codes for door fobs. After 3 months I got a fob that didn’t work and then 6 weeks later another fob that didn’t work. I emailed Keyzee, saying I didn’t believe any work, was done at our address. Keyzee worked out it was done on another building, 40 metres away and got me a working fob 2 days later. The mistake of the work, occurring on another nearby building, was rectified quickly, by Keyzee.
