We received excellent customer service from both Jamie & Shona, responding to all questions & queries with speed & efficiency. They were very accommodating when we were faced with tight timescales, carrying out & producing survey reports quickly & taking the time to advise critical information that was required to successfully purchase our property.

Jamie, the surveyor was very polite, respectful, thorough and knowledgeable. He arrived on time and we received his report when he said would send it. Shona, who arranged the valuation, was friendly, helpful and very efficient and did exactly what she said she would too. I would recommend the company for valuation services.

Excellent experience from start to finish on a Level 2 survey. Very professional and courteous. Reasonably priced and a thorough survey carried out. Phone call on the day of the survey to run through the main points and written report issued within 48 hours. Many thanks to Nick and the team.

I have had 2 Surveys from Kempston-Parkes. I was a structural survey on my property and the second, a Level 2 Home Survey on a property I am purchasing. In both cases the quality of the reports was excellent and the surveyors clearly explained any issues and suggested solutions to any problems. I would not hesitate to recommend Kempston-Parkes to other people.

Very supportive of me as a first time buyer with many questions about this process! Report very detailed and easy to understand. Report was also provided quickly after the survey, and the whole team have been very friendly and kind.

Our buyers used these Surveyors to do a level 3 survey. Elements of this survey were shared with us. Sadly some elements of the survey were inaccurate such as it was mentioned ‘some windows didn’t open and there was misting to some of the units’ only one window didn’t open which needed a new hinge and there was no misting to any of the UPVC units. Mentioned windows needed repair. This was inaccurate as ALL windows were fully operational. Then recommended purchasers budget for new windows. Secondly was advised on higher readings of damp in our gable end wall and an active beetle infestation in our annex attic. Both incorrect following a damp a timber report we initiated afterwards. Also recommended for buyers to budget for a new combi boiler in the annex when the existing one was only 12 years old. The outcome of all of this was that the purchasers offered £10k less which we rejected and we lost our sale. Tried to raise a complaint - see below.

Our terms of service state that the report should never be shared with any third parties, other than the client's solicitor.

The report is for the use only of our client.

I would be in breach of our contractual obligations to our client if I were to discuss any part of the report to you and even if I had the express written permission of our client to do so, I would not.

I have however, placed your email on file and forwarded it to the surveyor who inspected your property for his own review.

Very poor service given by this organisation. They seem out of touch with the market and very detached. Refuse to handle any complaints. Avoid and suggest use someone else.
