Same 140cm lanterns as older version arrived All attempts to contact customer service ignored Will be claiming an " Incorrect Goods supplied " dispute with my bank

3 weeks later nothing . No email response . I will call cancel my credit card. What a scam

This is an absolute scam. I bought 4 of the 2026 lanterns and was entitled to an additional 4. They came 2 days ago and they are the small lanterns. I wrote the company and haven't heard a word. That was $279.00

I first bought 2 which turned out to be nothing like the ads. Small 5” frosted plastic that probably cost them 50 cents to make. I said shame on you. Then, a couple of years later I saw another kaliqo ad saying they don’t sell on Amazon and to buy direct, which I did. Shame on me now. The new ones were at least twice the size of the originals but made the same way. Just junk plastic frosted plastic. Buyer beware .

Ordered in December 2025- NEVER RECEIVED ORDER. Multiple attempts to contact company with no response.

Same experience as every other review on this. NOT at all like the pics they advertise. Foggy glass, half the size just overall bait and switch. Now I see adds that I/we were scammed and should order from the "real" website - feeling like another scam.

I am filing a complaint regarding an order of approximately $300 worth of lanterns purchased from Kaliqo for use at my wedding. I am not a wealthy person - I work part-time in ministry at a very small church, so this is not a small amount of money for me. However, I chose to spend it to make my once-in-a-lifetime wedding beautiful. The items received were not as advertised. The beautiful lanterns shown in the product listings appeared elegant, appropriately sized, and made with clear, transparent glass. However, the products I received were drastically smaller—approximately one quarter of the expected size—and appeared cheap and toy-like - like a camping toy you'd give a little boy. Additionally, the listing depicted the glass portions of the lanterns as transparent. In reality, the “glass” was frosted, cheap plastic; couldn't see through them at all. This material difference was not clearly represented in the advertisement photos and significantly altered the appearance and quality of the product.

Because of these discrepancies in size, materials, and
overall appearance compared to what was advertised, the lanterns were COMPLETELY unusable for my wedding. A huge waste of my hard-earned & carefully spent money. I contacted the company to request a refund and explained the issue. The company refused, stating that the listing was accurate because dimensions were included in the description. However, the advertising photos were absolutely misleading and did not reasonably reflect the actual product received. I am requesting a full refund of $300 due to misrepresentation of product size, materials, and appearance.

This company used a Delivery service that I had never heard of or seen before. Only half of my order was delivered. I have been fighting with them since Oct of 2025, to get the rest of my order. I am just getting I think a automatic email sent back to me and its not real people all computer generated. I would suggest like others to NOT deal with this company as I believe its a SCAM also.

I never received the order I purchased. They just took the money and ran. They no longer have a website or support number to contact them. Total criminals.

1 Star to good for this shower of rouges. Short story 2 x lamps purchased (£50) worth. Design was not what I ordered. Then they both failed. Had a lot of communication they then agreed to replace them with new ones if I paid £20 transport. I agreed to this to see how far they would go. Lots more emailing I think Ai generated. I see the website is now closed so guess they have made their money and will be looking for the next scam.
For those of you that have failed lamps I would recommend somebody take them apart and you will find the wires to the battery haven't been soldered on securely. I have repaired them and I now have 2 x blobs of plastic that glow but look nothing like the adverts.

I can’t comment on customer service as the only other review at the time of this writing has done because I’ve had no problem with the three I purchased in October. They have been on our patio since then - automatically charging during the day and dancing their “flames” during the night. They look and work great.

SCAM--stay away from. All AI generated responses.

This is the worst company to deal with. I order these the first week of December and still haven't received them and it's 1/19. They show no signs that they even shipped which the company says they have. Do NOT order from this company. I'm returning mine as soon as I get it I don't care how long my credit takes I want my money back.

Ordered 4 lanterns on 10/30/2025. One stopped working in December. I contacted the company asking for a replacement and they asked for a video which I sent and was told my request had been forwarded to the "relevant department" for processing. Emailed them again yesterday because I now have another lantern that doesn't work and they responded that because the 30-day warranty had expired they won't replace the lanterns. Worse company ever.

Do not order!!! Absolute bait and switch with sub par plastic product. NOTHING EVEN CLOSE TO THE PICTURES.
I returned my order 10/24/25 and am STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND AS OF 1/11/26.

The contact info is only an email that consistently says "they've escalated my refund to the appropriate department " but no refund! So disappointing.

Kaliqo needs to be SHUT DOWN for fraud.
Total SCAM. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and seek assistance.

The entire experience was - and still is - an absolute disaster. I placed an order in October for a set of four lanterns with a 2-5 day shipping estimate. It's now January and I have received exactly one lantern, which not surprisingly is MUCH smaller than advertised and the package damaged. They continue to ask for my next installment payment through their vendor Affirm. I have repeatedly refused to continue to pay for a product I never received, to both Kaliqo and Afffirm. I also reported both to the Better Business Bureau for fraud. This is a total scam, not sure how either company is in business.

I was a little disappointed when I saw they were smaller and plastic, but after using them for two months, I absolutely love them. Solar Recharge and last all night, have had lots of compliments!! The plastic is actually great if they blow over, don’t break. Bought 8 more as Christmas gifts, and we live in high end homes. They love them! Hate to see these poor reviews.

Even after advertising to purchase outdoor solar lanterns directly from Kaliqo to PREVENT cheap, cloudy, inferior product - what I received was cheap, cloudy, small, inferior product. Processing a return has been a nightmare. They insist I must pay for return shipping and must ship to China. The refund policy on their website states THEY pay return shipping and the return address is a CA address. Bait and switch Chinese company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Disgusting. Dishonest. Excuses. Said they were returned to them when I kept following up then they were on their way. Two months later still nothing and said they’d investigate and then said “appears they’ve been returned”. Keep promising to re send and have not. Someone should investigate and close down this company it’s been 5 months and nothing but excuses

Same as everyone else. Gross misrepresentation of the actual product. Ordered 4 thinking I was getting beautiful, large, glass lanterns. Got 4 tiny, plastic, dumb lanterns. Surprisingly, 3 are still working.
