Shout out to Clare, Poppy and Jude from Jones Robinson Newbury who worked so efficiently to ensure our transition to a new letting agency went seamlessly. Everything was handled in an extremely professional and timely manner and I cannot fault any aspect of the process! Thank you so much to everyone involved :)

I had a very detailed conversation with Archie, who took the time to answer all of my questions. A personal information pack was hand delivered to our door on the same day of our phone call. We had the lovely James visit our home the next day, who gave very positive information about the value of our property.

We will definitely use them when the time comes to sell our house!

Extremely disappointing experience.

While my fiancce was undergoing active chemotherapy and being clinically vulnerable, I clearly explained that property viewings posed a serious medical risk. Despite this, I was repeatedly pressured to allow viewings, and my situation was minimised rather than respected.

This caused significant stress and made me feel unsafe in my own home during treatment. When I raised a formal complaint, the agency ultimately refused to take meaningful responsibility or offer appropriate resolution, treating the matter as closed.

In addition to this, there were wider failures in basic tenancy management, including errors in gas account setup, unauthorised access to the property, restrictive handling of broadband arrangements, and conduct that fell below expected professional standards.

Taken together, these issues suggest systemic shortcomings rather than isolated mistakes. The response to formal complaints focused on internal processes rather than meaningful accountability or acknowledgment of impact.

Based on my experience, I have significant concerns about compliance, tenant welfare, and overall professionalism within this agency.

I would strongly caution anyone who is medically vulnerable or expects basic care and professionalism from a letting agency especially Ms Butler.

I respectfully disagree with the assertion that duties were carried out properly.

There are currently three separate disputes progressing through independent regulators, including The Property Ombudsman and the Energy Ombudsman. The existence of these formal proceedings indicates that there are legitimate concerns regarding compliance and service standards.

Confidence in one’s internal processes is important; however, regulatory referrals do not arise without reason. If obligations had been fulfilled appropriately and in accordance with professional standards, escalation to external bodies would not have been necessary.

I had a great experience working with Seb Walcott. He was professional, attentive, and made regular check-in calls while recommending properties well tailored to my needs.
Although we ultimately purchased a new-build property and didn’t buy through Seb, I truly appreciated his support and professionalism. I would happily use his services again and highly recommend him.

Called to enquire about a property in Newbury. The agent I spoke to , Alex, needs real training in how to sell. Told me he didn't want to waste my time showing me a property given it was 5k over my budget. He was patronising and smug. I actually could have superseded the offer already on the property but given his arrogant attitude, his absolute certainty in himself that he was correct and didn't want to employ basic politeness, I asked myself - "why bother?".

Congratulations on a truly terrible sales tactic.

Jo was really helpful,she couldn't do enough for me which i appreciated. I'm not great with technology and Jo walked me through everything.

Words cannot describe just how incredible Jones Robinson have been for me. I first sold a house with them in Jan 2025. It was a truly horrible time in my life, and they looked after me the whole time. Putting me first, not the house. Which sounds like a given, but sadly hasn't been my experience of other estate agents. I'm now listing another house with them (Jan 2026) and it's been another perfect service. Jo has held my hand from the beginning - she's been completely friendly, kind, approachable & professional throughout. Laura came to take marketing photos and the house has gone on the market incredibly quickly as they know I'm keen to move ASAP. I'm already starting to get viewings booked in and the house only went on the market today! Seeing the difference in the marketing from when this house was last sold by another agent in 2025 and now, has been night and day. Jones Robinson have been impeccable in their attention to detail, with much better photographs and a better description of the property. Along with regular updates on where things are at, which really put my mind at ease. I wouldn't hesitate recommending JR to anyone, and already have to a friend who's getting on the market with them as we speak!

Advised to market my property for £30k less than the market (and 2 other agents) suggested. This represented 13% of my property value so a significant drop in my opinion.

Unfortunately we decided not to move in the end, but Archie was so proactive and genuine in trying to find us the perfect property that suited our needs.

Excellent personal service with professional, friendly staff. The after sales staff were great and kept their finger on the button. Would highly recommend.
